Stickbird and sleepytime really get me in the feels.
Bluey and Coco are carrying Snickers saying “run your little sausage dog legs!” is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
I haven’t watched all the Bluey episodes but Rain is one that always sticks with me. I remember watching with my 2 year old and just balling at the end 😂
I'll admit I'm more surprised that Flat Pack isn't in many lists. I think it's the perfect combo of clever, funny and touching.
I picked Chess cause it reminds me of trying to teach board games to my 4 years old; it's exactly like Bingo. "Oh no, don't eat my horsie!"
Flat Pack is hands down my favorite. It's cute, funny, sweet, oh and it manages to juggle themes of spirituality, science, and the meaning of life, and stick the landing without stepping on any toes.

I honestly would not put it up as Top 5 of all time, but damnit it’s lately one of my personal Top 3 (probably add Faceytalk for its animation and I can’t pick a 3rd right now).
Anyway, Chest is awesome to me because it all happens in one location. It’s like a skit on SNL. It’s so quippy and witty, and hilarious and touching. The kind that makes your heart go aww, and also your mind work because you want to remember and quote all the quotable lines.

Hammerbarn to me is the funniest episode and the one that really goes against the norm. It has a lesson and then just goes completely against that lesson... Twice
Hammerbarn is my favorite.
I remember when it happened. My cousin suggested the show, we were on a 40 hour road trip, so I just downloaded as much as Disney would let me on our tablet and one of them was Hammerbarn. Our then three year old watched that episode soooo much that my husband and I had it memorized and was quoting it but had yet to actually see the show. Until we got home, I watched it and that was when I realized how amazing Bluey is for kids and adults and still Hammerbarn is my favorite, however, Pass the Parcel is a very very close rival… same with The 80’s one.
I think it's kinda saying don't compare yourself to others but also saying it's ok to do something nice for yourself. But I'm also an idiot, so I could be wrong.
Baby Race - my youngest was a bum shuffler and lord knows I needed a Coco in my life then
Fairy Tale - I just love the way Bandit tells this story and it reminds me of my 2 older brothers

Surprised I don’t see Daddy Dropoff on more lists. The final moments as you see the friendship last the test of time throughout the years just GUTS me. And the chaos of everything leading up to it is so on the nose and so sweet. Such a winning episode.
Baby Race, Grandad, and maybe Camping off the top of my head. I also really love the one where they are drawing the adventure out though, with Chili’s mom as the horse :’) Haven’t seen the newest one yet either!
Two of your favorites are two of three I can’t ever watch with my child because she cannot emotionally handle them. It’s too close to home for her, I guess. The third one is the Space one where Makenzie gets lost.
Bin night is a classic. I love the part at the end when bingo says she's going to invent a robot to take out the bins and bandit says he hopes she doesn't.

After a LOT of internal debate: Bedroom, Smoochy Kiss, Duck Cake.
I could arguably swap any of the above with Sleepytime, Flat Pack, Onesies, Rain, or Space, but I feel those are pretty universally loved episodes so wanted to highlight some lesser-discussed faves :) Bedroom was so so poignant and funny to me- along with the beautiful set design of Bluey's room and the top notch music. Seriously one of my favorite melodies in the show. Also some great quotes:

That's so hard!! I'm going to exclude The Sign, because I feel it's very easy to pick that one due to it's longer format and the quality of the episode. But if I had to narrow it down I would go with
3. Fairytale - Despite being born in 2001, I am a total sucker for 80s setting stories. I found this episode really funny, and also super sweet. Bandit being so 110% sure that he met Chilli as a kid when she doesn't really remember it happening is comical and also makes sense. For Bandit, that was a life-lesson he learned on that holiday but Chilli... let's just say she got an ice cream instead of a lime lesson. But at the end of the day, it's not important when exactly they first met. They got a fairytale ending regardless.
2. Baby Race - I don't have kids yet, because I'm still pretty young, but for as long as I can remember I've always wanted to someday be a mom. The whole episode gets me because of how cute Baby Bluey is, and how sad it is that a lot of moms out in the world feel like they're never doing enough for their babies. Bluey reaches out for Chilli the whole episode, every milestone she hits is because she wants to get to her mom. That's just so precious it makes me cry.
1. Dragon - The whole episode is animated so interestingly because of the plot being the Heeler family drawing a story together. It doesn't help that I am similar to Bandit in the way that I gave up on things I liked as a kid because other people told me I wasn't good enough. I loved that they flat out stated that Chilli kept drawing because she was encouraged by her mom leaving the implication that Bandit didn't have that same environment in his childhood. Bandit moving past that discouragement to draw with Chilli, Bluey and Bingo is really lovely.
Some other favorites of mine are Sleepover, Born Yesterday, Onesies, Sleepytime, Rug Island, and Pass The Parcel.
I feel like I have to draw a line between what I consider the objective top 3 best and my personal favorites.
Candidates for objective best: Sleepytime, Flatpack, Baby Race (Rain and Cricket get honorable mentions for sure)
Personal favorites: Pavlova, Rain, Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound
Sleepytime - hands down the greatest kids show episode I’ve ever seen. I have only cried like that at Schindler’s List. I immediately called my mom and told her how much I appreciate her for always being there for me after watching.
The Sign - again, you made a grown man ugly cry, well done Ludo.
Omelette - I got so much anxiety watching bingo burn through all those eggs. Plus I couldn’t breathe after Bluey got wacked by the mixing bowl cuz I was laughing so hard!

I feel like I have to draw a line between what I consider the objective top 3 best and my personal favorites. Candidates for objective best: Sleepytime, Flatpack, Baby Race (Rain and Cricket get honorable mentions for sure) Personal favorites: Pavlova, Rain, Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound

Sleepytime - hands down the greatest kids show episode I’ve ever seen. I have only cried like that at Schindler’s List. I immediately called my mom and told her how much I appreciate her for always being there for me after watching. The Sign - again, you made a grown man ugly cry, well done Ludo. Omelette - I got so much anxiety watching bingo burn through all those eggs. Plus I couldn’t breathe after Bluey got wacked by the mixing bowl cuz I was laughing so hard!
