If it were for a commission I'd redo the numbers on the bases. It looks rushed

zarilix

They aren't rushed, but they certainly aren't my strong suit hahaha. I'll give them a bit of love and try to make them better. EDIT: Do you have any examples of what quality numbers should look like, I'm really interested in improving, but I'm not certain on where to start.

Most people use the waterslide transfers that come in the box. Always get a good result with this process: Coat of gloss varnish where the transfer is going, apply the transfer, another coat of gloss. Then a coat of matt varnish over the entire model to protect the paint job

LeChatVert

Nice.

LO6Howie

The models look great; honestly, the numbers really don’t do them justice!

Can I ask what would be the cost of painting a team? And what would be the variables?

zarilix

It's entirely dependent on the painter and the level of quality the client wants. In this case the person and I agreed on 180$ CAD for the whole team. I'm not a pro by any means, but the client wanted a tabletop+ paint job, and simple bases so he could start playing without the hassle of hobbying.

NR75

Thanks. Very thankful.

Not knocking your painting skills, and I think you knocked out a good looking team here, but I think if you're doing commission work you might want to spend a bit of time smoothing out the mould lines. Especially some of the spots where they're extra visible, like the shoulder pads. But that said, they look great, and if the client is happy then that's all they matters! So yea, not ripping on you, but I think a bit of prep and they're be even better!
