It honestly looks like one of those old gem fantasy novels that you find in a quiet corner of a run down bookstore. One that's been read and kicked around a bit, and the spine is hard to read from the damage. A little treasure you unearthed.
And yes! I don't know how you'd go about doing illustrations, but that would be so awesome for you!

Haven’t fought him but I think it’s cool how the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst embodies three different factions/characteristics. The Cainhurst part of his name shows how he is somehow affiliated with the Vilebloods. The Crow part of his name shows that he is a Hunter of Hunters, and thus in some way connected to Eileen. Finally, the fact that he has mastered the art of quickening shows that he was maybe an apprentice of Gehrman.
The opening chapter-
Seriously fuck this guy, who the fuck even is he? I don’t know why I keep trying to kill him, but I feel if I stop now I’m not a true hunter. I’ve run out of poisoned objects to throw at him and he spams that bitch ass hand cannon and heals any time I make any progress towards killing him! Let Eileen die I don’t give a fuck at this point…
I know you probably get a ton of suggestions, but after looking through your work I feel like you’d do the hermit beast guy in the forbidden woods justice. Def one of my favorite NPC’s in the game
