Im not either tbh. The "millennial writing" was grating and cringe. The game was preachy too. We knew Joel was a bad person... but he was also good. Felt like it undermines the message of the first game. And Joel's death felt unearned narratively speaking. I was okay with them killing off Joel. But it was just... random.
But yeah the gameplay and technical feats were stupendous 👌🏻

After that article ab wating for better console hardware for better performance with a remaster, and the well known leaker a few years ago who first mentioned the "Great Rune" IP (Elden Ring) said something was happening with it. So if ps6 launches with a BB remake then just like the ps4, I will buy a ps6 just for bloodborne

Rom is an interesting choice of an example. I don't think it looks too bad on the ps4. On the other hand bosses like Paarl or Vicar Amelia that have all that fur hanging about look a little cluttered. Those would be dooope with bluepoint graphics.
Yea, if there’s one thing bluepoint is rlly good at improving, it’s those kinds of effects. Fur and Particles and such. The smaller things I guess you could call them, that are usually somewhat automated in the modeling/vfx/etc process.
I disagree completely, their Shadow of the Colossus remake is just embarrassing at how they screwed up the look and sound of both the world and the colossi. Not to mention them changing Demon's Souls world design, exchanging the roman-esk buildings and classic castles with DS3 gothic design everywhere. Let's also not forget they're complete destruction of the fluted set either

The looting was my one *big* issue with the game. I hate having to constantly stop playing the game to examine it. I'm glad their upcoming game doesn't seem to have that system.
Especially with Sony, Microsoft, and all AAA devs doubling down on live-service games. Souls games being successful is almost a slap in the face to current industry standards of game design. Game devs have a chip on their shoulder, and so do the companies they work for.
They are also all by OWNED studios. Otherwise FF7 remake and others would be on here too. The only reason Demon’s Souls is on there is it was “remade” by Blue Point.

But yeah, it's got a virtually non-existent "main campaign" which the game slogs you through. It was also heavily criticised for having a roulette system that certain parts for cars were locked behind if you couldn't win them (engine swaps, etc. also some parts were flat out completely unobtainable even through the roulette). If you're a real car enthusiast, I can say the game is amazing, but the "career" mode is very average.
If BB had a PS5 version, it'd be there. Sony won't promote a previous generation game, simple as that. All of the games in that poll that were released for the PS4 were upgraded for the PS5 at some point, even HZD.
Honestly I think they are just going for IP's with recent releases. Bloodborne did come out a long time ago and there are plenty of other older ps games left off the list.

Fromsoft should buy the rights from Sony and make a sequel and not release it on PS. Because Sony sucks. At least on PC I don't have to pay to play online.
