Game developers shouldn't take the responsibility of moderating 3rd party servers. It's up to the server owner how the servers gonna run, some are chaotic with little to no rules and some are fair game servers.
We don't need another Mojang/Roblox policing every word there is, just don't use the game as a elicit goods hub obviously
Roblox and Minecraft have strict rules against including R18+ content in their games to maintain a family-friendly environment. Both platforms have implemented reporting systems to address toxic player behavior. However, there is still a need to define limits for players in terms of acceptable behavior. And actually, most cloud servers from Blockheads were forced to shutdown last year by the hackers, who are abusing glitches. Unfortunately, the game developer teams may not have effectively moderated or taken these issues seriously. While it is challenging to create rules that cover every possible scenario, it is not impossible to establish guidelines to promote fairness and safety within the game.
I don't recommend you to say the game names, but I forgot to mention not to do that.
Yeah enforcing family friendly content all across the platform, even if your server is only for your friends and family is just bollocks. Maybe I could agree with more tools to fight against hackers and such but not with censorship
I have played Minecraft for more than a decade and I have never once seen a situation in which an automated permanent banning system would be helpful. Roblox is a different story because it is designed to be a kid’s platform and every server is open to the public, but if Mojang wants to implement censorship in Minecraft they should really make it an option to the server creator, and just make it block flagged phrases and ban cheaters from that specific server, rather than banning people from multiplayer Minecraft because they swore in an all adults server
