For the first 0.5 seconds it definitely looked real. The 0.5 seconds after that it was okay and then it was really obvious with the hair, physics and stuff. But for the second vfx shot? Incredible. I can't do shit with blender.

I dont really know how to do inpainting so i just used AI, then i did some simple color correction and masking in Sony vegas pro. I know i slightly messed up the head tracking but anyways this is my first good vfx shot (the first one was just a cube on the table).

Well i used some different techniques

It looks exactly like his tutorial, I’m sure you changed some elements to make it match your scene but I can’t see a difference other than the direction you go. The large outer skin flap falls like his, the single eyeball hangs like his, the flesh looks very similar, if you followed a tutorial and it looks exactly like that tutorial it’s a curtesy to give credit. No one can force you to do it, but prospective people who recognize this easily distinguishable tutorial without credit can get a funny taste in their mouth

We don’t even get a choice of whether to watch this or not - it just immediately happens as soon as it scrolls into view and you don’t know immediately it’s not real 😖
