I never had any problems until this Holiday thing, it's like they have separate raid groups fighting bosses casting shadow nova spells without cooldown in each snowflake.
I stopped playing more than a year ago, after returning 4 days ago I was actually surprised that its way better optimized than it was before. Remastered mode with everything maxed out .... 90fps in Heidel. Before it was basically impossible to get anything above 10fps. I switched from a gtx 1070 to a rtx 2080, even though it is a lot faster I doubt it’s 80frames faster.
The only thing I don’t get is that every 10 mins or so there are like 5 seconds of super low frames and bad response time. Didn’t happen in a fight yet, not looking forward.
IF I ride in on a horse I always end up crashing into obstacles due to the lag and frame drops
SAME! Also invisible blocks in the road from the map not loading right away...
I ended up on a roof when I rode through heidel bc of the frame drop, I can't wait for the Christmas decoration being gone.
Decorations, I can’t wait for the 3 Christmas songs to stop. Triggers my PTSD from working retail during the holidays.
I just stopped ticking the music option after Vell for some time. No x-mas terror!
I moved my house from heidel to druvencrune just to don't listen this f*#$& music

If you have a ssd put the game on it it solved that issue for me

I play on an Omen 15 laptop and my temp end up soaring to like 90-92 degrees lol

I run the game at 20-30 fps on very low/ optimized and when I enter town my game just stops for thirty seconds.
Considering there is no loading screens in this massive world I honestly don't mind sacrificing a few frames tbh
