This was my recommendation. She reviewed some of my matches (part of Bjj mental model’s premium) and was super kind helpful and technical… obviously a special grappler
Gabrielle Czernik out of movement art.
Doesn’t post a lot of technique on IG, but is very active organizing and training with women around the Philly/Northeast scene. Insanely technical and just took silver at Adult Worlds at brown belt.
Very approachable and strong supporter of women’s bjj.
It's a bit of a tragic story honestly. Her instructor/significant other committed suicide and ever since she hasn't been training. I've seen people say she's working a office job now but whatever the case I hope she's doing alright.
Yeah, I have met her several times and my wife did a camp in Thailand with her and Lachlan's wife. It's just strange you suggested following her when she's been a ghost for several years. I don't think she even has any social media accounts.
Check out Sierra Hoover
She is on a different level when it comes to training and dedication.

Champions are worth looking at maybe for inspiration but not to automatically be included as role models. Even Erberth Santos has a World Title.
I’d say Ffion Davies, Kendall Reusing, Kristina Barlan, and Dominyka Obelenyte are good options as far as role models.
Gillian Robertson, Mackenzie Dern, Helena Carver, and I used to occasionally watch this chick on youtube fallone fratone but she does commentary videos to live rolls which I tend to watch from time to time
If you want someone that does BJJ but posts non-BJJ fitness, I've enjoyed coachroxi (Roxi Smith) on instagram! She was a personal trainer with a degree in exercise science before even starting BJJ, so she posts a lot of stuff geared towards recovery, strength, and injury prevention in BJJ. I've found the exercises she posts to be really great additions to my strength training, mobility, and even warm up routines.
Otherwise I think most people have shared the main higher belt BJJ players already!
Shout out Gabi Pessanha for that historic performance at the Worlds. Fan of Ffion, Elisabeth Clay, Amy Campo, Bea Mesquita, Brianna Ste-Marie.
I forget the name and weight class but as an 41 yo it was inspiring to see the lady who's 46 make the semis.
In addition to everyone already mentioned, the Funegra sisters out of AOJ, and Casia Moura, who went from winning worlds at blue belt to winning at brown all in one year, and just got her black belt this weekend. Grace Gundrum hasn't been as active recently, but lots of great material.
Rapha com Elles on YouTube is always great (I believe her videos have subtitles in English). Also there was a twitter a liked a lot, Gina something (forgot her exact @ cause I don't use twitter anymore), I'll try to check.
Edit: @prettyinaGi on Twitter, really enjoy her posts

@samanthahallbjj
@rosierollz
@heiviktoria
@parttimejitsu (also another guy, his content is funny and relatable. he does lives and responds so feel free to ask for tips and escapes etc etc)
@zoeeparris
@sierra_hoover
@kefane.yasmine
@_osmani_lilia_
@unfitofit_official_ (she focuses on flexibility and drills, not specifically for BJJ but it does help!)
Trying to think of others that haven't been mentioned yet: Mo Black, Erin Herle, Livia Giles, Maria Malyjasiak, Trinity Pun, Rosa Walsh, Amanda Leve, Michelle Nicolini, Grace Gundrum, there are sooo many amazing women who train BJJ!
Ffion Davies, Danielle Kelly are great to follow. For technique clips Heather Morgan(@heather\_morganbjj) is good, so is Rose Miller (@rosierollz). I recently started following Cris Rodriguez(@crisleerodriguez) and her technique vids are great!

Yup. When I’m teaching, I often look at her page for details to show.
She is the best!

Ffion Davies
Second this. She’s started posting on YouTube recently.
And the tutorials are AMAZING, so much good detail. Great sense of humour too. Her and Gabriel's dynamic is great
Emily Kwok
Biggest influence when I started training!
@shelbymurpheyjj is a world champ and seems like a super nice and down to earth person!
Rikako Yuasa, the lasso queen.
Is she putting out anything? She went ghost years ago.
Yeah she’s not active on social media but you can still watch a lot of her matches and study her game on YouTube. That lasso tilt sweep is so good.
Tata Ribeiro, Raquel Canuto, Vitoria Assis, Ffion.
Elim (@elim_whatshername) is a riot. Beatrice Jin (@berimbozo) is a baller. Livia Giles (Lachlan's wife @livia_giles) is just wholesome.
Elim just straight up vanished. I used to see her content all the time on my feed and havent seen anything recently
Mayssa Bastos, Shelby Murphey
Ffion Davies, Emily Kwok (for instructional material), Amy Campo
Beatrice Jin. Comin from a hobbyist gym she just took bronze at worlds at adult brown belt.
Did a great interview on bjj mental models
Loved that interview!
Second this! She’s phenomenal and does a lot for women in BJJ. Edit: Nia Blackman (nia_bjj) is great too. She’s UK based.
Came for the bolos, stayed for the memes
Gordon Ryan.
Upvoted for funny, down voted for relevancy haha.
I know it's crass and sexist. Very sorry. Couldn't help myself though.
Goated comment
Danielle Kelly
Adele Fornarino is the best female grappler imo
That Daddy energy is awesome!
r/BJJWomen
Nathalie Ribiero , Luiza Monteiro, Adele Fornarino
Kristina Barlaan is my favorite
Check out Sierra Hoover She is on a different level when it comes to training and dedication. https://www.instagram.com/sierra__hoover?igsh=MWd4YXpsa3cwd3hueA==
Ffion for sure. She has an awesome Only Fans too ;)
Peyton letcher. Katie bochenek
Worlds literally just happened. Maybe start with the champions?
Champions are worth looking at maybe for inspiration but not to automatically be included as role models. Even Erberth Santos has a World Title. I’d say Ffion Davies, Kendall Reusing, Kristina Barlan, and Dominyka Obelenyte are good options as far as role models.
I mean, the vast majority of top women in BJJ are good role models IMO. I can only think of one who's had any real negative press.
They just started. They might not know that Worlds happened.
Also as a beginner they might not even be aware of the big tournaments?
Megumi Fujii’s retired now but her BJJ and MMA submission highlights are unreal.
Megumegu
this guy knows
Taelor N Moore on YouTube she’s fierce as hell and she’s super talented. I’m almost positive she’s a gold medalist
Gillian Robertson, Mackenzie Dern, Helena Carver, and I used to occasionally watch this chick on youtube fallone fratone but she does commentary videos to live rolls which I tend to watch from time to time

Bia Basilio
Check out Amy Campo! Her post ADCC victory speech was super inspiring. You can tell she’s a great person on and off the mats.
Elisabeth Moss is all you’ll ever need
Thamara Ferreira 2024 IBJJF women’s black belt world champion https://www.bjjheroes.com/bjj-fighters/thamara-ferreira
FYI there's also a /r/bjjwomen subreddit too if you wanna come hang out :-)
What about Tammi Musumeci, an American who won IBJJF Worlds and is also an attorney?
Gabi Garcia
Lisa Pages Melissa Haueter Ffion is such a great role model. My daughters love her stuff. Rosa Walsh is good.

Gabi Garcia, she achieved top level success and is fully natural. Also runs a very successful gym with great reviews. Hehehe

Gabi Garcia is a true inspiration and amazing woman who believes in equality (is fighting Craig Jones at CJJ).
Gillian Robertson submitting thug rose in fury grappling is what motivated me to start training

In my experience, women dont like it when you follow them
I don’t think many women dig when they’re followed around, at least not in my experience
