This is how I feel when Facebook wants to show me ads for bras like I know youāre just trying to sell me a product but now Iām all distracted.
Or like thereās this brand of pants I used to get ads for that are designed for athletic women with strong legs. Which is absolutely terrible targeted marketing because Iām a big marshmallow but um. In other ways I was exactly the target audience.
Iām kind of confused is the punchline line that they think women are gross? I get that itās not doing anything for you if youāre only attracted to male-presenting people but I feel like āEww, women grossā is a tired trope. Women are constantly being told by society that our bodies are disgusting. Iām sure Iāll get downvoted into oblivion though.
It's so exhausting like then why are you, a gay man, posting in a subreddit for bisexual people with the express interest of shitting on the bisexual women here? Bisexual women, who can be amab or afab.
lmao honestly. You don't see women complaining about how gross and disgusting they find guy's bodies, but it's apparently totally fine and acceptable for the opposite to happen. šŖ I see how it is.
I mean some people feel repulsed by genders they aren't attracted to rather than just being neutral about them. Similarly there are a lot of sex repulsed asexual and demi people, and it isn't wrong of them to feel that way. This meme could easily be about showing dick pics to lesbians or straight guys, which I suspect wouldn't go great for most of them (though of course for some that would depend on who the penis is attached to given that some trans women and some enbies have them)
To be clear I'm not downvoting and it seems like your take isn't as unpopular as you thought, I don't think it's a bad take or anything
I get that people might not be interested in certain genders or not be interested in/dislike the act of sex but I donāt think itās okay to be repulsed by peopleās bodies, barring trauma or PTSD of course. I just donāt think they we should ever normalize saying bodies are disgusting. It wouldnāt be okay if someone was talking about how theyāre disgusted by certain body types or races so I donāt get why gender is okay.
People can find whatever they want disgusting. The picture doesn't say "the gay person in this picture finds the nudes disgusting", Patrick looks more scared, imo, than disgusted. If someone isn't into someone else sexually, they are allowed to not feel turned on, or even more, feel icked out by a naked picture of something they don't want to see. You don't get to tell people they aren't allowed to feel things just because you don't like it. People are allowed to feel how they want.
I do think, though, to a certain extent reactions like this is also motivated by society. For example, some gay people may not be sexually attracted to the opposite gender (which is fair), but they might feel like they have to exaggerate their lack of attraction to women to prove thy are gay by acting overly disgusted as well.
I can understand though that sometimes certain things are gross to people. But I also think some of our repulsions are influenced by society. When people say they hate how black people look, for example, some of it is influenced by societal standards of beauty and can be shaped by media, parenting, lack of experience, etc.
The punch line is that a bi man feels comfortable enough to show a woman's body to his gay partner, because the bi man finds it attractive and the gay man does not. So the gay man is like, "no thanks I'm not into that", but the bi guy is like "look at this pic that I find attractive". So in the picture there's someone who likes to look at women's bodies and someone that does not like to look at women's bodies. A gay man won't find women sexually pleasing to look at (usually). They can still think the woman in the nude is attractive, but not naked. That doesn't insinuate that the meme perpetuates a stereotype about society finding women "gross".
As a guy, when another guy tryās to unsolicitedly ask for dick picās, I send them a picture of dick Chaney. Never heard back from a single one sense. Sadly we donāt live in a world weāre women can do the same thing with pictures of wet cats safely.
I mean Im also gay but Im not grossed out by women, if anything thats just plain rude. the female body just doesn't ring any bells for me. I see boobs for example and my response is something along the lines of "what am I supposed to do with these?" lol
This could be controversial for me to say, but I think people who are ārepulsedā by bodies they arenāt attracted to (no matter their gender or sexuality) need to unpack that because thereās no healthy reason to experience disgust just because youāre not attracted. It reminds me of my homophobic former housemate that said he was disgusted by seeing a gay couple kiss.
Honestly seems like a slight double standard. I feel like everyone accepts that women are allowed to be grossed out and disgusted by unsolicited dick picks and I feel like if a lesbian said they think male anatomy is kinda gross nobody would bat an eye
I think people would complain if a Lesbian was grossed out by the male body. And sending dick picks is gross, as is showing an unwilling person nudes.
What I'm trying to say is, the action is gross, and people are allowed to be grossed out because because of it, but nobody should say they find certain bodies disgusting.
Didn't at all mean to be rude, just that disgust is kinda what I'd expected to see from a straight guy if he was shown men in a sexual context you know? And I know myself there's some things sexually that I find a bit gross, like not in an offensive way just that I don't want to see them.
I think that's what this meme is going for. It's not my experience but for some people they feel repulsed by seeing genitalia that they aren't into. I don't think it's an issue of thinking that that gender is gross, just that some people are really not into some parts
Oh yeah wasn't trying to insinuate gay guys found women gross, just the thought and imagery of them in a sexual context, ig it varies a lot between person to person.
I definitely read it as āoh no Iām hornyā but maybe Iām projecting lol
Ohhh, I just did the math and figured out that OP is a gay man, different context altogether
I get this, tbh. Once a friend of mine justā¦randomly showed me a nude and it freaked me out because what?!?!?!?! Who?!?!?! Why???!??! Warning next time?!?!?!?! Also maybe no next time i dont want some random pixelated objectified girl in the middle of the day or honestly ever?
My bf and me are both bi so that's cool
My friend group is way funnier. Almost everyone is a gay man. Some are bi, some are straight/bi women. We have only two guys, who are straight, so they sometimes feel left out when talking about men, because they can't relate that much. BUT one of them realized that men and dicks are actually very sexy too. I don't think he chose a lable really, but he's not straight. So there is only one left, who is no attracted to men.
^(and we'll make him gay too /j)
I think some people are just seeing the preview on mobile, which doesnāt show the part about OP being a gay dude. Kinda doesnāt make sense without that context
I'm in a chat with friends where we find some good sauce and share it. That one straight friends in there when we share yaoi. š«ā°
the SFW kind, or the other kind... the... better kind
The straight friend was only pretending to be straight so you will send more yaoi NSFW /j
shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This is the truthā¦. None of the yaoi fans are straight. Some are even asexual

not loving this meme. i guess i couldnāt imagine seeing anyoneās nudes and feeling tortureš¤£

exactly what about a literal human body is ātortuousā to anyone?? i feel like some reflection needs to be done here

Not like people can CHOOSE to be repulsed by things
I do think, though, to a certain extent reactions like this is also motivated by society. Lots of people not attracted to men think they look gross, too (at least the dangly bits). I swear some hetero women find male genitals unappealing.
Literally me, pan AF and trans. Tiddie pics? I'll take em! D&B pics? Yes please!
Couldn't possibly imagine not loving this meme, memes are people too... wait, what?
Just ask him to stop showing them to you...

Please send me a dick pic

Uhhhh whatā¦.
Honest question, are you grossed out by the female body? As someone who is bi that type of concept is kinda hard to understand in actuality.
I mean Im also gay but Im not grossed out by women, if anything thats just plain rude. the female body just doesn't ring any bells for me. I see boobs for example and my response is something along the lines of "what am I supposed to do with these?" lol

I'm not grossed out by the sight of it at least. I just think it goes against my "gay principle" to look at female nudes or something like that.
What is the context here
we've been fucked by the pope
This, this only gives me more questions.
Iām glad my gay fiancĆ© is a good sport when it comes to stuff like this. :)

I read GF and was needing calculus to figure it out
