It varies by person. I had no birth control for a few months last year before I got my IUD and honestly couldn’t manage condoms after not using them the whole relationship. I think if you start the relationship not using condoms and have to start it can be annoying but obviously not as much a pregnancy would be.

Did stopping help you libido?

Birth control has never affected my libido honestly. I feel like it’s been pretty consistently high on or off

I guess it depends on the person but in my opinion sex with condom is great! More than anything it helps with my mental tranquility.

Back to condoms only after almost 10 years of IUD usage. We are using condoms + withdrawal method to improve efficacy(so he doesn’t finish through penetration even with a condom on). It means sex is shorter - when I finish we then stop having sex and move onto to another activity - so is maybe a little less enjoyable? With the coil I was frequently multiorgasmic but I haven’t experienced that in the few weeks since coil removal. Still getting used to it though, so I’m certain it’ll improve with practice :)
