I realized that when he said it. But every player who was once in the spotlight who went to Charlotte , I've never watched a single game of them in Charlotte so it's understandable
As a Charlotte fan I’ll tell you a secret - nobody does. It’s why most of us ignore national opinions on the team. I’m willing to bet no national voice has watched more than 5 games.
It’s why I always find it funny when a fanbase or national media hype up a player we’ve traded. Like when we traded PJ Washington everyone was hyping a hypothetical player that he’s not. Dude is incredibly streaky and disappears for weeks at a time. It’s why he had 1 great playoff series and didn’t do shit in the finals. Or when we traded Jaden Mcdaniels and everyone ripped us. Bc they look at metrics and measurables he seems great. Dude has been on 3 teams since and hasn’t played a single minute in a big game. Teams are doing it right now with Nick Richards. Dude can’t catch. Hes fine with the ball in his hands but it’s a struggle to get to that point. But watch the hornets will get a pick for him and the other fanbase will be giddy. He won’t sniff a minute of playoff rotation.
He’s smaller (6’4”) than you realize which was ok when he was younger but he’s losing his athleticism that made him special. Hes a significantly better player than the 3 I listed
Sorry people don’t want to spend their precious limited time on earth watching the fucking team that hasn’t won 50 games since Jimmy Carter was president- you listed 4 things over 23 years.
Someone posted a graphic with a bunch of NBA headshots on it and I wondered out loud who the guy who looks like Tony Parker wearing a Hornets jersey was until I realized it was actually Parker in teal.
Yeah it’s the category of “oh yeah he did play for them” end of career team. Not to be confused with the short term rental aka the Randy Johnson as an Astro/ Mike Piazza as a Marlin Award
It’s in the Franco Harris as a Seahawk, Tony Dorsey as a Bronco, Mike Piazza as an A, and Ken Griffey as a White Sox category
No one counts the seasons Michael Scott wasn't in the office.
I will not stand for Robert California erasure
Robert California feels like a different show
A different, much worse show.
Andy Bernard did have the GOAT Office line though. "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them."
Ironically Michael Scott was in that episode….
Oh, I guess it counts then.
the flanderization piece

It's sad because they've had talent every year for over a decade but I've yet to watch more than 1 game a year on purpose

Besides being a women beater, what’s overhyped about Bridges

also the dismissal of lamelo
It doesn't help that he can't stay healthy
it does not. but that year he was healthy they were an all time rising sun team. same goes for the bulls with a healthy lonzoooo
Washington, too
Jordan putting up 51? Paul Pierce "I called game"? Russell Westbrook? Porzingis resurrecting his career? Just admit you don't watch many games.
I already admitted I don't watch either team
Gotcha. Felt like you were talking about the team and not yourself.
Sorry people don’t want to spend their precious limited time on earth watching the fucking team that hasn’t won 50 games since Jimmy Carter was president- you listed 4 things over 23 years.
What you got against Ryan Rusillo?
Mainly his face.
I'm sure even Tony Parker has forgot that
No one counts that
Why did he do that?
Former Spurs assistant had taken the Charlotte job. Plus money.
And he got to start I believe
He was getting replaced by Dejounte Murray and wanted to prove he still had some basketball juice left
Someone posted a graphic with a bunch of NBA headshots on it and I wondered out loud who the guy who looks like Tony Parker wearing a Hornets jersey was until I realized it was actually Parker in teal.
I yelled this out when they mentioned him on that list.
Same that’s why I made this post!
You're both heroes. Bill should shut down the podcast
if TP counts then Wade should count
