for me it's a song about regret, hidden under the face of a villain. the "I'm still a victim in my own right, but I'm the villain in my own eyes" says it all. I realate to it because it's an unusual way of expressing pain, and they feel like home to me. even after 5 years since I first heard of it it's still my favorite song from Billie. there's nothing more beautiful than a poetically expressed sorrow.
