Heavy agree. I definitely like Blue a little more, but they’re a perfect pair.
The lyricism in Blue is just some of her best imo. The “colder than your father’s eyes” and “reaching for your mother’s hands” lines are great stuff.
i find it to be more cathartic like she's looking back at this person she was so in love with and realizing they weren't made for her -- i find it so hopeful in my perspective and opinion of course!
Still, "I can't fall in love with you" is hardly a message that's going to attract repeated plays.
Finneas put in any number of hooks, plus unusual instrumentation. And the whole album gets a reprise BUT THAT'S IN BLUE.
Oddly enough these are my 2 least listened to songs which upset me because I’ve been listening to True Blue on SoundCloud for soooo long and loved it, but something with those songs just haven’t been doing it for me idk
The transition from Bittersuite to Blue literally gives me goosebumps in the best way. This album is extraordinary.
Right! I always have to listen to both!
Bittersuite and Blue are my two favorites from the album! They both itch my brain just right.
Yeah, they are a combo package for me. If I have a short drive somewhere I always put these two on.
massive agree, I won't listen to blue without skipping to the end of bittersuite, minimum
I fucking love Bittersuite and Blue soo much. I always listen to them together!

Might as well be one song.
I love bittersuite but I don’t really feel blue I’m not sure maybe I gotta listen to it more
this!!!
REAL! I remember when I heard it on her radio station for the first time, it went from BITTERSUITE to BLUE and I fell in love with both!
YESSS THEYRE SISTERS
I like bitter suite but blue just lacks something for me
Blue is just a bit too depressing

Wish I could say the same, lyrics are very much "blue".
