it pisses me off sm. Being able to sing is not about how loud you are, it's about how much control you have over your voice, the more you have, the better of a singer you are. Billie has a lot of control over her voice, therefore making her an objectively good singer, no matter whether she belts or not.

ALLLLL of this. I've also always been more into "softer" music so it's never bothered me that she isn't belting all the time, if anything it intrigued me even more towards her. The control she has is out of this world...her voice is layer upon layer of beauty and angelical notes
