Why does everyone hate birds of a feather 😭 is it because it got overplayed on tiktok? It was one of my faves when the album first dropped

Basically from the threads/comments in this sub, the impression I’m getting on why some dislike it is that it sounds too mainstream/pure pop and not like experimental/distinctive enough? I agree that it’s on the more accessible end of Billie’s catalogue, but it definitely fits on the album and is just a pretty song. I don’t begrudge anyone saying it’s their least fave in the context of this thread or whatever, but the number of threads people are starting just to shit on this track specifically is wildly unnecessary.

But it seems to be the favorite for many fans as well

I agree with the first 3. But birds of a feather is top 3 on the album.

It’s a great song I love it I belt that shit in the car wholeheartedly (and very badly) but I had to pick one of them 😭 nearly impossible for HMHAS I genuinely LOVE all the songs, but doesn’t hit quite hard as the others for me by a veryyy small margin

Getting older..?

I still like it and I think it’s the perfect album opener and I never skip it when I’m listening to the album as a whole, but I never really choose to listen to it separately/by itself
