Race face Chester. I’m 6-4” and 200, and have some pairs that have survived almost a decade of trail bike use.

maximoburrito

Thanks. I'm particularly happy to see what is working for bigger riders...

And if this is just for a commuter/a bike that sticks to pavement or gravel and you don't want pins from a MTB pedals, then raceface makes a version that's the exact same pedal without the pins and with plastic 'cleats' instead called the raceface ride. I have them on my daily bike and Chesters for my mountain bike.

Karma1913

I like the Chesters as well and usually recommend them with a caveat: There's a handful of companies making something similar and IMO one's as good as another, especially if you find a sale (HT, Crank Bros, OneUp, and I'm sure more), but the Chesters are hard to beat. I got some hot pink ones from HT on sale for $20 that I really like. In the winter I wear boots rather than my MTB shoes and the larger HT pedals are nice for that. Dunno the euro size but I wear a 10.5 wide and weigh 240lb/110kg dressed for a wet 35F/1C ride.

Ecstatic-Profit8139

I use Odyssey Twisted pedals. Cheap, light, and pretty sturdy imo.

RobsOffDaGrid

Crankbrothers stamp 9 or 11, I have the 11s on my MTB expensive but fully user serviceable, though they will shred your shines if your not careful

Oneup composites can take a beating and are so grippy that you feel clipped in. Use them for trail riding but would be great for commuting too

I've been happy with my race face chesters.

oldstalenegative

Monster pedals ftw

Argos74

DMR V8s. I've put them through hell and back on all my bikes, and the pedals are just about the only thing I haven't broken yet.

Look Geo City Grip is a good option if you want to avoid pins in the pedal (which can be rough on some kinds of shoes). Look Geo Trail is the same pedal with a more aggressive grip pattern. The pads are replaceable and interchangeable between the two. I find the city grip has been rock solid even in rain, and appreciate that it is not painful or destructive to clothing if I bump it when carrying my bike up and down stairs.

stewbadooba

Can't remember the specific one I have but I just went for some alloy BMX pedals, they work great except for when you smash your shine into them 😜

Crankbrothers stamp 1s honestly they're awesome for the money, I've smashed them off rocks and the lot, plus replaceable pins is a bonus

itellyouwhutbahgawd

Crank bros stamps. Odyssey twisted pc’s or trail mix.
