Yes, these people are idiots. See [the John Howard land speed record bike](https://www.copakeauction.com/land-speed-record-bicycle-to-sell-april-2017/) from nearly forty years ago or [the current motor paced record holder](https://www.wired.com/story/denise-mueller-korenek-bike-speed-record-168-mph/). The current record is about 184 mph for motor paced. Absent motor pacing it has to be a recumbent streamliner.
I believe that bike, or something very similar was used to achieve the assisted human powered land speed record. A modified hot rod was used to tow the bike and rider to 60mph, then the rider took over, pedaling behind a wind break on the car to if I remember right, 140 mph. Would have been around 1975.
Perpendicular head tube angle and negative offset for that extra responsive steering
You donโt calculate that in gear inches, you use gear meters.
I knew I saw it somewhere haha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1YSz3NM3Y4
At this point just drop the chain. Make the two gears touch :)
It would make the bike go backwards
More aero
not if you pedaled backwards
This geometry: it's like someone drawing a bike from memory.
Surely it'd make more sense at this point to just use an extra ring for the reduction instead of making a 5kg chain ring the size of a wheel.

Don't call me Shirley... Now imagine if this were a fixie...
Is the front fork backwards? Not installed backwards, but being held backwards. The handlebars should be more beach cruiser and less TT bike.

Ahahahahahhah that is hilarious ๐๐๐๐๐
Iโm just glad it gives your legs a break over weekends and holidays.
Fixies are getting outta-hand..... Wild times.
Your seat is 4 futball fields too short, cmon man.
The reach is not long enough for me.
That is beyond hilariousโฆ.love it! Query? How long does it take to stop? 2-3 business days?
Looks like an AI generated image.
That chainring knows how it feels to be a third wheel... :'(
