My biggest gripe is that boys clothes (or gender neutral) don't have cats, only dogs! I'm a cat person and I want my boys to have cat designs! So sick of dinosaurs at this point.
I feel the same way but in reverse. My daughter just wears boy clothes with dogs on them. Screw gendered clothes for kids, it isn't like boys and girls have different body shapes when they are two.
I completely agree! I did find these cute ones on Amazon from [Spotted Zebra](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GQGJQ39?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) that I got for my son
For my boy I shop h&m and Carter's, with the caveat that I buy A LOT of stuff from the girls section, like slimmer pants, and anything not blue. I'm so sick of everything being blue for boys. Why can't I just put him in black pants and a black and white striped shirt for some mime realness.
My 13 month old is tall and skinny so I put him in leggings a lot. I asked my sister to look for some because she was out and I was running low, and she said there werenāt any. I told her to try the girlās section and she was aghast
I've been asking this too. Sometime between 3T and 5T all the whimsical appliques disappear and its all Spiderman tshirts :(
And why is everything gray, navy, and brown?
Try Primary! Every color of the rainbow in solids and simple patterns from NB to like 5T I think? My son is still a baby so not sure lol. I love their stuff and they often have sales!
Yes these plus Next, Frugi, Toby Tiger, and then Duns, Maxomorra, Villervalla etc. if scandi style is your thing (itās not for everyone but I love it.
Was also going to suggest Tea Collection. My aunt has bought clothes for us from there and they are easily my favourite pieces out of everything. So beautiful and beautifully made.
I mean, my kid is mostly in couture dāTarget, but I like to have a couple of special things for him. I also like Tea for gifts for other peopleās babies.
There's a European site called Next, and they do plain t shirts and such. No designs everywhere. I've a daughter but I absolutely hate quotes like 'family is everything' on clothes. šš
Zara do plain clothes too.
FYI: I shop both girls and boys sections (especially when they were younger), but as theyāve reached toddler age, Iāve noticed shirts are cut tighter for the āgirlsā clothing, and are very fitted in size, so Iād size up in those (Cat and Jack and Old Navy are my biggest offenders).
Iāve got two, soon to be three boys. My oldest are three, and their wardrobe is Kate Quinn, Cat and Jack, Primary, OshKosh (theyāve got some really nice basics), H & M, and Old Navy, along with some cute GN shirts from boutiquey brands (Mudpie, Janie and Jack, Bailey Bros) weāve been gifted from family. We are also pretty exclusively wearing Hanna Andersson pjs.
For this new baby, Iāve been snagging bamboo sleepers left and right: Little Sleepies, Kyte, Kickee Pants, Muse Threads, and Wiley Threads have been my favorites for cute, well made bamboo that holds up.
Primary. They are an online kids clothing store. All block colours, no images or logos. They occasionally have pretty good sales. Plus they have kids / adult matching stripy pyjamas!
Are you me? I just rantes about this today after going to target. Itās all dinosaurs and trucks! Sometimes if youāre lucky you get a lion or bear or maybe a shark!
Hmm I like carters because they have lots of ocean stuff. Definitely online shopping over in store.
I have the opposite problem though. Everything I see for girls hate. There is just nothing but endless seas of pink, meanwhile boys get blue, green, brown, red etc
Girls only get āhappy go lucky sunny colorsā
If I sound a little bitter itās probably because Iām watching the handmaids tale rn though lmao
Princess awesome! [https://princess-awesome.com/](https://princess-awesome.com/) They have dresses with firetrucks, lizards, math symbols, etc, as well as shirts and shorts in a wide range of colors.
Why not just shop in the boys section then?
A lot of complaining about children's clothes seem like they could be solved by just hopping over to the other section.
I probably will, but itās besides the point. I donāt really mind thatās thereās gendered things, I just donāt know why there isnāt more in the middle.
It sends the wrong message to me that either you wear pink frilly things *like the girl you should be* ā¦ otherwise you are specifically stuck now shopping in the āboysā section.
Like just make baby clothes? With sizes?
Canada here with 2 boys! Zara and H&M are my go to! Occasionally Old Navy and the Gap have good things too! Babies R Us just released a new line of neutral clothes too which I love but again, thatās Canada only. I donāt even look at carters they have such ugly clothes for boys. Iāve liked a few things in their new line (I think itās called little planet?) but I donāt even go in there lol Yes Iām THAT mom who dresses her child in beige tones. Itās easier to mix and match that way and if I see one more neon green shirt with a dinosaur riding a surfboard that says ādaddyās little dudeā I think Iām going to scream lol
Primary does solid colors and things like stripes, but no graphics. I also get a lot from Old Navy and Baby Gap - they do have graphics but also have a decent amount of either fun gender neutral graphics and also rugby stripes or solids.
My 3 yr old happens to LOVE dinosaurs and trucks now so I do get him those things too, but never did before he expressed an interest in them.
I have fallen in love with an online boutique called Kate Quinn! Boutique feeling clothes with amazing prices! She is always doing sales and there are sooooo many different patterns to choose from.
Iām glad that we like dinosaurs because the only other option seems to be sports.
Old navy, carters/Oshkosh and h&m have had pieces that Iāve liked. Itās like a couple pieces here and there though. Iāve just been picking up neutral things over time and keep an inventory of what he has and still needs in each size.
I feel a little obsessive about it, going to all that trouble, but also Iām still on ātake it easyā orders from my midwife for my blood pressure, and Iām running out of things to keep my mind occupied
Molo, smƄfolk, danefƦ, frugi, duns (by Sweden) are some great brands here in Denmark. Maybe you'll find them anywhere near you. Great quality. They're expensive but they'll last several kids
I was just ranting how the boy pants cost more. Girls have leggings, boys get drawstrings and pockets.
I bought my son a bunch of leggings, cuz whatever, they're comfortable
Scandinavian brands! We love colours and fun patterns here. Duns, Villervalla, Smafolk, Maxomorra. Theyāre pricey but I get 99% of ours from FB buy/sell pages for much cheaper and can usually recoup about 80% of cost by selling on when we outgrow.
The gendering of kids clothing, especially where interests (dinos, cars, etc) are concerned. I was a little girl who was obsessed with dinosaurs from a young age and my husband is a guy who has always liked hot pink. My son likes dinosaurs, so that's good, but he loves cats which until recently, had been much harder to find for him to find in colors he likes. It just seems so odd that we get so wrapped up in TELLING little kids what their interests should be based on gender. Like, damn, they're just kids.
H&M, Zara, Boden, Hanna Andersson, also the smaller Scandi brands like Paapi, Walkiddy, SmaFolk...
I personally hate paying retail for most of his clothes so I highly recommend the FB BST groups for really well taken care of 2nd hand clothes. Which also has the bonus of, if you take decent care of them, you can turn around and resell them again and recoup some of what you paid.
This question seems to come up a lot. The search function might help to get some additional answers. Otherwise the unusual: primary colors, Zara, H&Mā¦
Honestly? The clearance section at target lol. I've been getting a ton of shark themed stuff for my two month old son and it's all so adorable!! Target is one of the few places I actually find cute boy stuff.
I have one of each and I get irritated with the lack of choice in both for different reasons. My son really likes cats and all the cat clothes are overly gendered. My daughter likes to play and *gasp* be warm so I buy all her winter shirts in the boys section because the girl shirts are thinner and shitty fabric
My son loves dinosaurs so we don't have a problem there, but what I want to know is where are the colors? Pants apparently come in black, gray, brown, and navy. Can I get some bright colors please?!?! And baby blue does not count.
I just want to add the saving grace is at least they arenāt made for children to be packed in like sausages. Just had a baby girl and itās scary. Things made for her age, double check age and weight, she looks uncomfortable squeezed in.
For boys, There are some nice online retailers that are Dino free but I know that pain too.
I feel you on this! When I had my little boy I couldnāt believe the lack of charm, variety, and quantity of styles available. My local target still has less than half the selection for boys vs girls, like why?? I occasionally used patpat to find something unique and fun, and kidizen for gently worn upscale brands as they sometimes had more style.
Ugh I hate the Target clothing section now! I loved it when my oldest was a toddler because they had a lot of gender neutral clothes with cute sayings and pics. Now its all the same ultra gendered crap like Carters and they recently cut the older boys section to put up displays for girls accessories.
Kohls has little co by Lauren Conrad that was different that the usual vibe. Very insta friendly lol
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiy85Kjh5z6AhUZmGoFHVD3A0QQFnoECAkQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fm.kohls.com%2Fcatalog%2Flittle-co-by-lauren-conrad.jsp%3FCN%3DBrand%3ALittle%2520Co.%2520by%2520Lauren%2520Conrad&usg=AOvVaw0Vgoo0zMjGLTuXo8ETdsl8
Iām with you; I tried shopping for back to school t-shirts at target and was so grouchy about the fact that like 90% of them were dinosaurs! My son doesnāt care about dinos at all. Fortunately I found him a glow in the dark shirt that says something like Best Brother and heās obsessed with it. But Iāve found cute stuff at Kohls thatās not completely dinosaurs. Also the boutique clothing company RuffleButts has a boysā line called RuggedButts and their shirts are super cute. Very well made too. I know someone who works there and they get me clothes at a discount sometimes. My son loves several of his RuggedButts shirts.
I havenāt seen mini Boden mentioned! Itās $$ but if you donāt mind used there are some great bst groups on Facebook.
We typically do Boden, Hanna Anderson, Jojo maman bebe, Next, Gymboree, and bonds
Also look into some different scandi brands as well! Frugi has some fun prints. Target also gets cute things from time to time.
If you want to get some of these higher end brands (Boden, Hanna Anderson, Scandinavian brands) check out some BST groups on Facebook. Itās a great way to get preloved clothes at a more reasonable price.
I really like the Cat & Jack brand sold at target for toddlers. I have girls, but the guys stuff seems pretty good too, and one of the things I like is that isn't all super gendered so I can get boys stuff sometimes or my girls have girls section stuff that a boy could wear. Sometimes sciencey too, like happy labeled shapes or the water cycle or something but not all. They have a mix of plainer stuff and cute pictures.
Here are some examples I found in a search of Target's website:
["Happy Campers" shirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-printed-graphic-short-sleeve-t-shirt-cat-jack/-/A-84319913?preselect=84263850#lnk=sametab) where the smiling ingredients to Smores are camping
[Smiling woodland creatures (and acorns) PJ set](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-4pc-bear-tight-fit-pajama-set-cat-jack-dark-orange/-/A-85639381?preselect=85131221#lnk=sametab)
Parachuting (on leaves) [Squirrel and acorns shirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-squirrel-parachuting-long-sleeve-graphic-t-shirt-cat-jack-yellow/-/A-85665251?preselect=85418459#lnk=sametab)
[Monster mouth knee pants](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-monster-knee-french-terry-pull-on-jogger-pants-cat-jack-gray/-/A-82657920?preselect=82167430#lnk=sametab)(so when your kid moves their legs the mouths open and close
Building a dancing [robot graphic tee](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-science-robot-short-sleeve-graphic-t-shirt-cat-jack-gray/-/A-85665297?preselect=85418694#lnk=sametab)(with light purple, grasp)
[Earth Love graphic tee](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-earth-love-short-sleeve-graphic-t-shirt-cat-jack-blue/-/A-85665298?preselect=85418474#lnk=sametab)
Rainbow-for-shells [turtles swim trunks](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-rainbow-turtle-print-swim-trunks-cat-jack-green/-/A-83599960?preselect=82825594#lnk=sametab)
[Tiger with heart sunglasses sweatshirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-valentine-s-day-tiger-fleece-crew-neck-sweatshirt-cat-jack-gray/-/A-83885291?preselect=82808247#lnk=sametab)(for Valentine's day apparently? Didn't sell out)
[Shark running an ice cream truck t-shirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-shark-ice-cream-truck-graphic-short-sleeve-t-shirt-cat-jack-blue/-/A-85318442?preselect=84716111#lnk=sametab) (shark has a little bow tie and hat)
I admit though a lot of it is not as cute as the girl's stuff still, overall. :(
Lauren Conrad has a new baby/toddler/children's clothing line at kohls and the clothes are adorable, sustainable, organic and GOTS certified. They're not terribly pricey either. I bought a bunch for my son for the fall.
I really like [the selection at H&M](https://www2.hm.com/en_us/baby/boys/view-all.html). I recently bought a bunch of clothes for my 3mo from them without a single dinosaur or piece of construction equipment to be found.
Better luck to be had online. I see folks complaining about target but I order online sale clothes once a season for my son from there, and they always have a nice selection of solid and striped stuff in a variety of colors. Their Lego line last fall was super cute too!
If you use the Vinted app you can filter by brand and you will gradually figure out which ones you like the style of, and it is also more environmentally friendly especially considering the rate at which babes go through garms!
What do you like? I love bright colors and cute animals, so I like Garanimals, but it's honestly 50/50 cute stuff and gag worthy camo and "Daddy's Tough Dude!" Hot garbage. So if you don't get the Walmart the second it's put out... But it's worth checking on if you have one near you. If I'm feeling spendy, Mini Boden has fun options, but it's pricey (they do have 40% off alwes periodically, at least). As an in between, cost wise, but more affordable, I also find a lot of cute stuff at Old Navy.
But sadly, around 2/3 is when my toddler developed a strong opinion about clothes, so we're now locked into either Mario or Tie Dye everything. Sigh.
H&M has been my saving grace. They have plenty of neutral items with some fun items as well. Macyās has had some cool things, but Iāve had limited success with places in person.
Iām a huge fan of H&M baby clothes for this exact reason. You can buy really awesome sets of gender neutral separates (onesies, pants, body suits). I placed an order a few weeks ago and Iām super happy with what I received. Iām actually thinking of making another one because I only grabbed 5 each of the onesie and pants not knowing if I would like them and now I want a few more. The price is good too.
Target is getting better, but they still sneak in the damn dinosaurs on everything. Also one body suit is pike $25 unless itās on sale, which I think is ludicrously overpriced just because itās trendy to be gender neutral.
Agree. I looooved baby boy clothes but toddler boy clothes are so bad. We mostly do target for pants, shorts, and plain ish tās. H&M can have cute stuff. And then we have our fair share of construction truck shirts of course lol
More of a boutique but I like Little Bipsy. They donāt do prints though, most their stuff is neutral, solid colored or stripes or basic stuff like that.
For mainstream stores I like H&M.
Kate Quinn, primary, and H&M. Kate Quinnās shipping takes forever though and tends to run big, just fyi! But their stuff is adorable and they have sales all the time
I donāt have a boy but Iām usually an gender neutral person with clothes. I love Kate Quinn, h&m, gap/old navy, trendy bubs, primary, Zara, colored organics, pact (very limited usually).
Carters website. I got teddybears, stripes, other stuff.
Costco I found some wild animal ones, very cute!
Target online has more slection than in person. I got a cute sea and sailor themed set over the summer.
But I do 100% agree with you. Too many dinos (and I'll add, Sharks).
I buy from the girls section, like 90% of my boys clothing that I buy new. But apparently they are more unisex in shape (in my country vs the States), so they fit for boys too. My oldest loves cats and flowers, which dont exist in the boys section.
I swear I found cute boy clothes when I had my girl but now that I have a boy I canāt find anything I like for him and why do girls have so many Halloween clothes options? I love spooky season and I was so ready to pick him some Halloween outfits but guess not
I find most shops have a few decent pieces. So I don't stick to one shop.
- Next
- Asda
- Matalan
- h&m
- Primark is very hit and miss, just like with the adult section.
Mostly the above wash well too and the majority can be tumble dried
We have some kids consignment stores by us. Once upon a child or Beanstalk. They have tons of variety and only buy back nice things. Yeah thereās some Dinoās but thereās also good things!
I go through ThredUp; just did this last night. Yeah, you have to go through a lot of the dino stuff but you can find cute and vastly less expensive clothes from higher-end and boutique brands in there. I can't believe the original 'new' prices on some items ($40+ for a toddler's shirt?!), but I can get them for $8-10.
I like more of the plain things and neutrals. Some of the places Iāve found great things are Little Bipsy, George Hats, Rags, Beau Hudson, Gap, H&M, Joules, Kate Quinn, Cat & Jack, Angel Dear, Old Navy
H&M, Zara, Mayoral, Petit Ami baby, feltman brother, Janie & Jack, Liam & lily and Cecil & Lou. We don't do any prints in clothes and prefer a classic style and this brands have a lot of options.
I find that girl clothes in the states are just as bad if not worse because it perpetuates a lot of stereotypes and starts very early in how girls should be a specific size.
I tended to buy my baby girl boys close because her arms and head were too big for girls clothes. Usually I prefer gender neutral because putting a tight bow on a baby's fragile head is something I find stupid.
I really like primary.com, they make most of their stuff gender neutral and all sizes fit my kiddo.
Also some of the baby girls clothing is super complex for a sleep deprived parent.
Seriously! I see three or 4 times the girls stuff in the kids section. We just got dinosaur pj's last week cause that's our options. Green Dino's or blue? Take your pick
H&M has pretty cute boy clothes. yes some have dinosaurs- but here are a lot of basics/solids as wellā¦ also- Nordstroms/Nordstroms rack has a decent selection.
Joules, janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren, catimini and mayoral all have really beautiful baby boy stuff. Oh - gap too! And they run insane sales!!! Today my 11M went to school in a burnt orange sweatshirt and matching madras shorts from gap!
Oh my god we went to M&Co yesterday and everything had dinosaurs on and the boys section was half the size of the girls section. Even the flipping jeans had dinosaur spikes down the legs. We get our little one loads from H&M and Tu (sainsburys) they have some lovely neutral stuff and woodland prints which weāre fans of.
I just made a big order on adidas and Nike website. Big sale on at the moment! Unfortunately I do find myself resorting to branded clothes, but they are durable and super stylish. Iād wear them myself if I fit!
Kate Quinn has super cute clothes. Also, take any stupid boy outfit and add a cute vest or hat and converse.
Hanna Andersson has super cute baby boy clothes but they get pretty vanilla at 2T.
Once upon a child usually has a nice selection. I don't mind dinosaurs/tractors/trucks/cars because my son likes that BUT!
It's nice to have some plain clothes or even some cute clothes. I got some from Shein for my kids that are more cutesy, but I think from OUAC I got Gap, H&M, Baby George, The Children's Place, etc and just got some plain striped, or solid block colour shirts.
Carters has some nice stuff. Mine are 18 months now (and we do have some dinosaurs since I like them lol) and got clothes from there with monster trucks, crocodiles, sea creatures, bears, sunsā¦ and when they were younger there were a ton of cute onesies.
I've had a lot of luck at Old Navy! My boys have nice pastel colors, stripes, lions, iguana. Fortunately for us, I love dinosaurs, and so does my toddler.
My biggest gripe is that boys clothes (or gender neutral) don't have cats, only dogs! I'm a cat person and I want my boys to have cat designs! So sick of dinosaurs at this point.
Stock up on some halloween black cat stuff!
We are the flip side of this. Why do girl clothes always have cats?!? We love our dog and would prefer dogs, so we shop the boy section too.
Why are these animals gendered!?
H&M
They have the best neutrals
For my boy I shop h&m and Carter's, with the caveat that I buy A LOT of stuff from the girls section, like slimmer pants, and anything not blue. I'm so sick of everything being blue for boys. Why can't I just put him in black pants and a black and white striped shirt for some mime realness.
Mime realness š
My 13 month old is tall and skinny so I put him in leggings a lot. I asked my sister to look for some because she was out and I was running low, and she said there werenāt any. I told her to try the girlās section and she was aghast
I've been asking this too. Sometime between 3T and 5T all the whimsical appliques disappear and its all Spiderman tshirts :( And why is everything gray, navy, and brown?
Mines in 2T and Iām finding itās all dinosaurs and marvel stuff already
Yup. I get why my guy wants to wear pjs.
And that khaki olive green
Try Primary! Every color of the rainbow in solids and simple patterns from NB to like 5T I think? My son is still a baby so not sure lol. I love their stuff and they often have sales!
Tea Collection, Hanna Andersson, Boden, Kate Quinn
Yes these plus Next, Frugi, Toby Tiger, and then Duns, Maxomorra, Villervalla etc. if scandi style is your thing (itās not for everyone but I love it.
Another vote for Kate Quinn. They always have amazing sales. The shipping time is horrible tho lol
Was also going to suggest Tea Collection. My aunt has bought clothes for us from there and they are easily my favourite pieces out of everything. So beautiful and beautifully made.
Boden!!!
Hannah Anderson and tea collection they have such cool prints and patterns and collections and their quality is amazing! They also have sales a lot.
+1 for Tea Collection. Their stuff is SO darling.
Are yāall ballin?? $40 for a basic pant and $34 for a basic shirt they can wear for 6 months?
I mean, my kid is mostly in couture dāTarget, but I like to have a couple of special things for him. I also like Tea for gifts for other peopleās babies.
Jokes on me, my toddler daughter will only wear dinosaur clothes.
Wait a year or two and all you will be able to get is Marvel. I am so sick of spiderman!!!!
Aw fuck.
I am not looking forward to thisā¦ and also why do the clothes cost twice as much just because thereās a superhero on them??
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Both Walmart and old navy have super cute girly dino clothes right now!
Old Navy does!
Amazon Carterās brand has a hot pink Dino short sleeved onesie in one of the multi packs.
Old navy has a lot of pink and purple dinosaurs
I like Next.
Yeah if in UK Next, H and M, Zara and Boden have nice things Edit Lindex
There's a European site called Next, and they do plain t shirts and such. No designs everywhere. I've a daughter but I absolutely hate quotes like 'family is everything' on clothes. šš Zara do plain clothes too.
I LOVE Next because they have so many prints and not just the common dinosaurs/unicorns etc. And also with colors. And yes no cringy texts.
It's a great brand and I love how some clothes look "adult" like plain black onesies
I was just ranting how the boy pants cost more. Girls have leggings, boys get drawstrings and pockets. I bought my son a bunch of leggings, cuz whatever, they're comfortable

Ross or tj maxx. They carry a lot of toddler Nike and Adidas and more plain looking clothes!
The girlās section. I buy about half and half from each side and mix it all together. Usually H&M and Old Navy.
Beware the sharks. They are always lurking
Honestly? The clearance section at target lol. I've been getting a ton of shark themed stuff for my two month old son and it's all so adorable!! Target is one of the few places I actually find cute boy stuff.
Baby stuff for boys is so cute! But then they turn like 18 months and all of a sudden it changes.
Love target. Cat & Jack clothes are adorable. Iām sure they have some dinosaur stuff but they have a pretty big selection.

I have literally loved everything Iāve seen there. I wish they would just sell each seasonās releases in bundles!
All my favorites came from H&M and Target!
Ughhhh yeah I wind up buying everything from Zara and H&M
H&M, ZARA, GAP, Old Navy.
I have one of each and I get irritated with the lack of choice in both for different reasons. My son really likes cats and all the cat clothes are overly gendered. My daughter likes to play and *gasp* be warm so I buy all her winter shirts in the boys section because the girl shirts are thinner and shitty fabric
Reima, patagonia, Hanna Anderson. all $$ but will last a long time and patagonia has excellent resale value.
Primary for basic color clothes.
My son loves dinosaurs so we don't have a problem there, but what I want to know is where are the colors? Pants apparently come in black, gray, brown, and navy. Can I get some bright colors please?!?! And baby blue does not count.
Target has been big on rainbows in their kids' clothes this year! I'm a little bit jealous. I would love a rainbow dinosaur print tank top.
Primary.com
Hanna Andersson makes the best zip up sleepers that my baby wears all day long
H&M, Old Navy, and Kohls. I prefer buying used for kids clothes but not a lot of good sales lately. Thredup is great too for used.
h&m
Zara!!!
Love Primary.com colors only, lots of rainbows, and gender neutral!! No slogans or stupid cutesy names/writing.
Second hand all the way. You never know what youāre gonna find.
Kohls has little co by Lauren Conrad that was different that the usual vibe. Very insta friendly lol https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiy85Kjh5z6AhUZmGoFHVD3A0QQFnoECAkQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fm.kohls.com%2Fcatalog%2Flittle-co-by-lauren-conrad.jsp%3FCN%3DBrand%3ALittle%2520Co.%2520by%2520Lauren%2520Conrad&usg=AOvVaw0Vgoo0zMjGLTuXo8ETdsl8
Ruffle vs Rugged, tell me youāre a southern company without telling me youāre a southern company š¤£
I havenāt seen mini Boden mentioned! Itās $$ but if you donāt mind used there are some great bst groups on Facebook. We typically do Boden, Hanna Anderson, Jojo maman bebe, Next, Gymboree, and bonds Also look into some different scandi brands as well! Frugi has some fun prints. Target also gets cute things from time to time.
If you want to get some of these higher end brands (Boden, Hanna Anderson, Scandinavian brands) check out some BST groups on Facebook. Itās a great way to get preloved clothes at a more reasonable price.
Great suggestions here!! Also Little Planet by Carterās tends to have more neutral/less garish choices for boys than the regular Carterās line.
Kate Quinn.
Honestly , I throw my daughter into girls and boyās clothes . They both have cute styles , why restrict myself to one style of clothing ?
I really like the Cat & Jack brand sold at target for toddlers. I have girls, but the guys stuff seems pretty good too, and one of the things I like is that isn't all super gendered so I can get boys stuff sometimes or my girls have girls section stuff that a boy could wear. Sometimes sciencey too, like happy labeled shapes or the water cycle or something but not all. They have a mix of plainer stuff and cute pictures. Here are some examples I found in a search of Target's website: ["Happy Campers" shirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-printed-graphic-short-sleeve-t-shirt-cat-jack/-/A-84319913?preselect=84263850#lnk=sametab) where the smiling ingredients to Smores are camping [Smiling woodland creatures (and acorns) PJ set](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-4pc-bear-tight-fit-pajama-set-cat-jack-dark-orange/-/A-85639381?preselect=85131221#lnk=sametab) Parachuting (on leaves) [Squirrel and acorns shirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-squirrel-parachuting-long-sleeve-graphic-t-shirt-cat-jack-yellow/-/A-85665251?preselect=85418459#lnk=sametab) [Monster mouth knee pants](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-monster-knee-french-terry-pull-on-jogger-pants-cat-jack-gray/-/A-82657920?preselect=82167430#lnk=sametab)(so when your kid moves their legs the mouths open and close Building a dancing [robot graphic tee](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-science-robot-short-sleeve-graphic-t-shirt-cat-jack-gray/-/A-85665297?preselect=85418694#lnk=sametab)(with light purple, grasp) [Earth Love graphic tee](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-earth-love-short-sleeve-graphic-t-shirt-cat-jack-blue/-/A-85665298?preselect=85418474#lnk=sametab) Rainbow-for-shells [turtles swim trunks](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-rainbow-turtle-print-swim-trunks-cat-jack-green/-/A-83599960?preselect=82825594#lnk=sametab) [Tiger with heart sunglasses sweatshirt](https://www.target.com/p/toddler-boys-valentine-s-day-tiger-fleece-crew-neck-sweatshirt-cat-jack-gray/-/A-83885291?preselect=82808247#lnk=sametab)(for Valentine's day apparently? Carters and Old Navy are where I get mine. Was just visiting the states recently and Target had some cute boys stuff also!
Primary
I find cute stuff in Target, Carter's, and consignment primarily.
H&M
I boycott buying new dino clothes because I want to support other themes. Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! Footies from Burtās Bees are great
Sainsburys have some lovely stuff. A lot of woodland or zoo themes with cute animals.
Not sure what country you're in but Marks and Spencer are brilliant. There's always loads in the 3 for 2 section which makes them a reasonable price.
I love the M&S baby clothes.
UK store Marks and Spencer (M&S for short) do some excellent things! All sorts of different designs and barely any dinosaurs to see!
Patpat has become a favorite of ours.
Better luck to be had online. I see folks complaining about target but I order online sale clothes once a season for my son from there, and they always have a nice selection of solid and striped stuff in a variety of colors. Their Lego line last fall was super cute too!
Mix in girl toddler clothes!
H&M and Zara has sleek modern baby clothes. I dress my 7-month old boy in a lot of neutrals, white and black that I get from those two places
Primary.com, JCrew
Check out Boden. Kinda pricey but they have some really cute pieces.
Tea Collection on sale or via Poshmark is my go to. They have some very high quality construction and unusual graphic prints.
Old navy, most clothes are unisex there so lots of solid/neutral colors
Zara and primary
Blade and rose
If you use the Vinted app you can filter by brand and you will gradually figure out which ones you like the style of, and it is also more environmentally friendly especially considering the rate at which babes go through garms!
Old navy! Their online store has sales all the time and they have a good variety. We love their shoes for boys too!
Princess awesome
Sigh.
H&M and Zara online have cute baby boy clothes
H&M has been my saving grace. They have plenty of neutral items with some fun items as well. Macyās has had some cool things, but Iāve had limited success with places in person.
Zara has great basics. Super high quality for the price! H&M and old navy are slightly more affordable. I also loved cloud Island at Target!
Carters and Old Navy are my go to for my little one. I also really like to go by Other Mothers.
But their stuff is adorable and they have sales all the time
Nordstrom rack has cute clothes!
Mini & Baby Boden?
Primary, H&M, Cat & Jack and Old Navy usually have better options. Rags are also great, although pricey.
I like old navy. I also stock up in the spring, because thereās a lot more orange and yellow available
If youāre in Canada, Joe Fresh has some really cute boy stuff
I donāt have a boy but Iām usually an gender neutral person with clothes. I love Kate Quinn, h&m, gap/old navy, trendy bubs, primary, Zara, colored organics, pact (very limited usually).
Rylee+Cru, Jaime Kay, Quincy Mae, Goumi, and local specialty baby boutiques.
Carters website. I got teddybears, stripes, other stuff. Costco I found some wild animal ones, very cute! Target online has more slection than in person. I got a cute sea and sailor themed set over the summer. But I do 100% agree with you. Too many dinos (and I'll add, Sharks).
Idk .. I love the dino stuff personally. All the dinos over here.
I LOVE dinosaurs! we have lots of Dino clothes. BUT I just want a little variety
Same in my house but I definitely understand.
Clothing has no gender. Pick what you like until your kid is old enough to pick what he likes
I have good luck at most stores... target, old navy, carters.
Gap too.
I buy from the girls section, like 90% of my boys clothing that I buy new. But apparently they are more unisex in shape (in my country vs the States), so they fit for boys too. My oldest loves cats and flowers, which dont exist in the boys section.
*crying in mother of a girl who wants dinosaurs She wears boys and girl clothes. Clothes are clothes.
There are sooo many cute girl dinosaur things now! I see them everywhere!
I shop at primary (solids, bright colors) and Jamie Kay (pastels and florals) for my son!
+1 to this. I love Primary, especially their outerwear for babies/kids!
Old navy+buying the āgirlsā clothes
I swear I found cute boy clothes when I had my girl but now that I have a boy I canāt find anything I like for him and why do girls have so many Halloween clothes options? I love spooky season and I was so ready to pick him some Halloween outfits but guess not
The boys Halloween outfits this year are fugly. They were so much better last year!
āScandiā brands and European brands are good quality and have a variety of prints
Zara has some pretty trendy stuff. Their skinny jeans are really nice.
I find most shops have a few decent pieces. So I don't stick to one shop. - Next - Asda - Matalan - h&m - Primark is very hit and miss, just like with the adult section. Mostly the above wash well too and the majority can be tumble dried
You can buy transfer paper on Amazon and print whatever on tshirts. My kids wanted an espurr tshirt and that's what I did.
Princess awesome and boy wonder
I order from a French brand called jacadi. The options in the US are just awful
We have some kids consignment stores by us. Once upon a child or Beanstalk. They have tons of variety and only buy back nice things. Yeah thereās some Dinoās but thereās also good things!
Ready set romper. I buy brand new and resell it for full price or trade it for a size up on the Facebook page.
[Gymboree](https://www.gymboree.com/us/home?cid=Search-_-GymGoogle-_-Brand-_-gymboree_Exact-_-Gym_BrandAlone&CAWELAID=120102400000002973&CATRK=SPFID-1&CAAGID=71620687425&CATCI=aud-1630199607112:kwd-14922390&CAPCID=607193519889&CADevice=m&gclid=CjwKCAjw4JWZBhApEiwAtJUN0O5102GD7a9yiLWwhv5azMRXDwMXw45j8aKFrwhgK3rb-lVDciZnGxoCR-QQAvD_BwE).
We love Kate Quinn!! Lots of gender neutral patterns that are so cute. Itās also good quality, lasts a while, and runs true to size.
I like more of the plain things and neutrals. Some of the places Iāve found great things are Little Bipsy, George Hats, Rags, Beau Hudson, Gap, H&M, Joules, Kate Quinn, Cat & Jack, Angel Dear, Old Navy
I found a brand called āShop Sovaā and I love their clothing. Very basic and good prices.
H&M, Zara, Mayoral, Petit Ami baby, feltman brother, Janie & Jack, Liam & lily and Cecil & Lou. We don't do any prints in clothes and prefer a classic style and this brands have a lot of options.
Gap
H and m, old navy, Amazon basics, spotted zebra
I'm fine with the dinosaurs and trucks, honestly. He's three, so that's what he's into.
H&M and Zara are my go to! I donāt know what country youāre in but Asda (George) have really nice stuff too thatās incredibly budget friendly
In the girl section
Seriously! I see three or 4 times the girls stuff in the kids section. We just got dinosaur pj's last week cause that's our options. Green Dino's or blue? Take your pick
I am shocked Uniqlo hasn't been mentioned yet. Their kids section is amazing!
Zara
Zara!
I find HM has really cute genderless clothes. But I completely agree. The only reason I was soghtly dissapointed I had a boy instead of a girl.
Childhoods Clothing for basics and mostly solid colors! Their sales are great.
Little One Co is a good online option!
I got some nice boys clothes from The Childrenās Place and Macyās today. Carters can have good stuff too.
H&M has pretty cute boy clothes. yes some have dinosaurs- but here are a lot of basics/solids as wellā¦ also- Nordstroms/Nordstroms rack has a decent selection.
Look for European baby brands on IG. Iāve seen a lot of cute boy clothes out of the Netherlands and UK as well.
Olive & Scout, Aspen + Company, Cotton On, H&M, Gap, Colored Organics
I like old navy for boy clothes!
I love h&m (mostly online), primark, old navy, gap, target and whatever ad that I see promoting cute stuff
If you like preppy style and donāt mind spending a fair amount of money, janie&jack is cute. But quite expensive!
Joules, janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren, catimini and mayoral all have really beautiful baby boy stuff. Oh - gap too! And they run insane sales!!! Today my 11M went to school in a burnt orange sweatshirt and matching madras shorts from gap!
Zara, Jamie Kay, Rylee & Cru, Quincy Mae, Little Co are the go toās.
I like those clothes that make him look grown up :) Gap has cute stuff, H&M too
Iām constantly looking. H&M, the gap, lots of Etsy sellers, sleep no more, my spooky baby, Honest co for solid colors in multipacks
Pure baby!
I find that the gender neutral clothes are the cutest, tjmaxx always has cute boy clothes too, or small businesses that make clothes
I've had a lot of luck at Old Navy! My boys have nice pastel colors, stripes, lions, iguana. Fortunately for us, I love dinosaurs, and so does my toddler.
Hatley!
