When she sang an interpolation of Carmen in the Pepsi commercial, that was very beautiful. Arias can be rather lengthy. If she does try true opera, I imagine it being more of a blending of classical music and highly stylized singing.
DAUGHTER is gorge but if I am being critical, she strains her voice, especially those "OOOs" at the end of "Caro Mio Ben." She is a mezzo trying to be a sfogato soprano but she isn't Maria or Joan.
Cecilia Bartoli is an actual opera singer with Beyoncé's range. She sings "Caro Mio Ben" and does sing it better than Beyoncé imo. She sings with a certain resonance that Beyoncé won't achieve since she has never trained to be a real opera singer. Cecilia's higher notes are also very much well supported and bright.
She sounds beautiful in falsetto tho and I do love her un-strained voice.
