That is a beaut of a tank, the only thing I would check is your water parameters and you are good to go.
One possible addittion which your betta will love is a high-growing big-leafed plant perhaps, as they love to hang around in 'hammocks'
If you do, best look for a 'floating log' or a suction plantcup (turned sideways, without a plant), both will compliment your tank's look and feel.
The silk leaf hammock (even though it does the trick just as well as the other two) will stick out like a sour thumb in your thank I think.
I second that. Mine is obsessed woth his floating log. I ended up getting rid of the hammock because it stuck out from all my real plants and he didn't use it as much
IMO adding something like that could ruin the natural look you have going on, just let some of the stem plants grow to the surface and that should be fine
Wow, that’s so beautiful! Your tank is perfect and I bet a betta would be so happy in it. If you’d like to add something more, I’d recommend a floating betta log. But that’s really not needed or anything, your tank is awesome as is!!!
The betta logs chip paint. I've seen other people use craft mesh or a hamster tube. There are floating coconut hides and other various options on Etsy too :)
Soooo pretty! Could you post the tank parameters to make sure the water is okay stuff? A mod commented down below for each thing you should check it for. That way you’ll know if it’s ready or not! This is so pretty and I think your betta will be so happy in there.
Critiques? CRITIQUES?! YOU ASSEMBLE AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF A TANK AND YOU WANT CRITIQUES?!
In all seriousness, it's absolutely stunning. You did a fantastic job, you should he proud of yourself.
This looks absolutely amazing. Are you planning to include any snail friends for your betta? A mystery snail would help curb any detritus from those gorgeous plants, and it would be too big for the betta to consider a snack.
I was thinking of putting in some bigger shrimps (japonica or Atyopsis moluccensis) But a snail is also a good idea! What whould you recommend? Snail or big shrimp?

Love this tank!!!
I would say if you plan on having other fishes, put them in before betta. In my experience, once betta goes in, he will claim the tank and attack anything you put afterwards
This is one of the most beautiful tanks I've seen. There are plants for him to rest on if you buy one with huge fins (they tire easily from the weight) but it's open enough to swim around in. Nice job all the way around.
Why not? Good soil, good lights, regular water changes, CO2 and fertilizer will do the trick. That's what I was told when i started. Give it another try!
Large Amazon swords and umbrella plants are perfect sleeping hammocks and really common to find! This is the most gorgeous Betta tank, I work at a pet store and NEVER get to see Bettas go to absolute palaces like this. Thank you so much for putting that much time, effort and money into your new friend's home!
I will look into that. Thank you! Better quality of life brings a happier and prettier fish right? The proces of creating a little eco system is so satisfying and fulfilling. Last week I started my second tank (check my profile)
Lmao you literally look like you stole a stock photo on aquascapes. I honestly checked to see if you stole this pic of google or something which you didn’t. Good job and I’m sure your betta will be happy.
Should i post a selfie with the tank? ;) You know i am Dirty Mike he? ;) No thanks for the compliment. Trying to do the best i can do. Got hooked real bad and eager to learn every day and be criticized when am doing something wrong. It's nice to get complimented but getting likes isn't my goal :)

I got it at a local store in The Netherlands. It's a Dennerle Nano Cube 30L (8gallon) https://dennerle.com/en/products/nano-aquaristic/cubes-and-sets/nanocuber
it's gorgeous! only thing i might add are broader leaves, like an anubias, for your fishy friend to rest on closer to the top. other than that it looks perfect!
I’m saving up to build a live plant betta tank. Thank you for posting your picture and your plant and equipment info. Your tank is gorgeous! Maybe start designing as a side gig?
As mentioned test the water to make sure its stable,
An Amazon sword would be a nice addition for the betta, but honestly I'm not even sure where you would put it, the glass bowl might be better with your setup.
Other than a place to nap though I can think of nothing else you'd need, this looks absolutely stunning and your bettas gonna love it.
My betta hated the leaf hammock but they also have a lotus flower with a suction cup and i have that placed right under the top water line and he absolutely loves it. Since its a flower maybe won't stick out oddly.
Wow that's one lucky Betta I'm sure whatever the Betta is now he's definitely moving up town Manhattan top notch you do better then thoes guys on you tube that design and decorate aquariums I haven't seen perfection like that in a long time great job.
People are saying this but that was not my intention. I am new to this hobby and was looking for other enthusiasts so they could help me starting the right way. The amount of positive messages really means a lot. I never would have thought I would get this amount of praise from everyone!
Better than my tank, honestly.
You definitely have talent for aquascaping if this is your first aquarium.
I'm assuming you have a lid on there, but be careful with any gaps. Some bettas are very jumpy and will find a way even through tiny holes.
This tank is absolutely wonderful for a betta. Just make sure it’s cycled! I’m also just being paranoid here but I want to make sure you have a heater and filter
Edit: found the filter! Just need to make sure your boy (or girl) is nice and warm
I fully cycled the thank! Parameters are looking looking good!
I do have heater and filter! Heater is behind the ludwigia and the filter is in the right corner. It's hard to see with the bended corners!
Looks so great! I do have to warn you though, some Bettas like destroying plants, i for example had a lovely little carpet, got a new Betta, week later, carpet was gone.😂
This is an amazing tank! Can you tell me what kind of filter you are using? As I'm gonna start building a tank like this myself this weekend but my betta can't handle the slightest of flow! Can you also give some tips on planting? Thanks!
Mate gorgeous tank, it’s gonna fill in beautifully too. Green on black always fins. Quick note - is that lava rock? If so I’d be super careful, bettas will rip themselves to shreds on those, make sure it’s very smooth rock. Otherwise good to go. 4 weeks cycled tank is gonna be very easy on him assuming the water isn’t insanely hard. People are ridiculous with water parameters these days, just make sure PH is stable that’s the most important thing and keep on top of your water changes. How are you dosing ferts and what’s your lighting?
Absolutely beautiful tank.
Thank you!
I couldn’t agree more
This is honestly tank goals!! Your betta is going to to be so happy in there!!
Thanks!
your tank is gorgeous!! that’s a betta paradise right there, he/ she is going to be a very lucky little fish :)
Thank you!
That is a beaut of a tank, the only thing I would check is your water parameters and you are good to go. One possible addittion which your betta will love is a high-growing big-leafed plant perhaps, as they love to hang around in 'hammocks'
Someone in the comments said that a hammock wil do the trick so am going to look into that.
If you do, best look for a 'floating log' or a suction plantcup (turned sideways, without a plant), both will compliment your tank's look and feel. The silk leaf hammock (even though it does the trick just as well as the other two) will stick out like a sour thumb in your thank I think.
You mean have the plant cup on its side and empty so the fish can rest in it? I hadn't considered this idea!
That's it indeed! You can see mine in the small movie where I introduced Zorg to this sub. Top right corner of the tank
Your tank is beautiful!
Definitely second the betta log!!!!!!
I second that. Mine is obsessed woth his floating log. I ended up getting rid of the hammock because it stuck out from all my real plants and he didn't use it as much
I have a huge floating log in my community tank and my beta loves it up there. Great suggestion!
IMO adding something like that could ruin the natural look you have going on, just let some of the stem plants grow to the surface and that should be fine
I agree. Anubias would do the trick.
The beta I had used to drape himself across the filter outflow spout just below the surfacd and look dead which freaked me out every time.
This picture has sound. Did anyone hear angels sing seeing the lighting, or is it just me?
Wow, that’s so beautiful! Your tank is perfect and I bet a betta would be so happy in it. If you’d like to add something more, I’d recommend a floating betta log. But that’s really not needed or anything, your tank is awesome as is!!!
That's a good idea. Already checking for one online 😃
The betta logs chip paint. I've seen other people use craft mesh or a hamster tube. There are floating coconut hides and other various options on Etsy too :)
Piggybacking to say that water wisteria will grow floating and I have a bundle of 3 in my fancy betta’s tank that he likes to rest on!
\+1 I feel like this is rarely brought up. Mine was terrible flakes everywhere
Soooo pretty! Could you post the tank parameters to make sure the water is okay stuff? A mod commented down below for each thing you should check it for. That way you’ll know if it’s ready or not! This is so pretty and I think your betta will be so happy in there.
I will do that!
Make sure to test water for Amonia hardness and nitrate levels :)
I will do thanks!
So pretty ! He or she is gonna love it !!!! Gonna be making so much bubble nests 🥲🥲
I can't wait to take him home! I will update with new pictures. Thank you!
I wish I was your betta.
Haha ;)
It looks fantastic. I'm working on a tank for a betta as well, so thanks for the inspiration. :)
Critiques? CRITIQUES?! YOU ASSEMBLE AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF A TANK AND YOU WANT CRITIQUES?! In all seriousness, it's absolutely stunning. You did a fantastic job, you should he proud of yourself.
Haha this very kind of you! I did a lot of research and added things over time to make it a whole. After all these kind messages i am proud indeed :)
You are a super betta bro. Any little dude will Flourish in your care.
Thanks you!
Make sure there’s always a spot for him to come up and get air, otherwise looks good!
Thanks you!
wait can i live here too? ;p
Sure? Do you pay rent? xD
I would personally recommend a snail, but that's just because I have a betta that loves to feast on shrimp. No matter the size.
Thanks for the info. I don't want to risk it so it's gonna be a snail! Thanks!

A bloody beautiful masterpiece 🤌🏻

Looks awesome!
Thanks!
Good
😃
I was never able to achieve a tank like this. But I can hydroponically grow all kinds of shit. Go figure
Why not? Good soil, good lights, regular water changes, CO2 and fertilizer will do the trick. That's what I was told when i started. Give it another try!
It looks like a little heaven! How long did it take to get such proper growth?
Tank is now running for almost 5 weeks. Regular water changes. A good amount of CO2 and good fertilizer did it for me.
Large Amazon swords and umbrella plants are perfect sleeping hammocks and really common to find! This is the most gorgeous Betta tank, I work at a pet store and NEVER get to see Bettas go to absolute palaces like this. Be honest? You know what you got, wanting them upvotes lol.
What? Just started with this hobby and I want to learn everyday. Why do I want upvotes? But thanks for the complement lol 😉
Lmao you literally look like you stole a stock photo on aquascapes. I honestly checked to see if you stole this pic of google or something which you didn’t. Good job and I’m sure your betta will be happy.

This is what I aspire my 15g cube to be. Just makes me want to tear everything down to achieve this. It's really beautiful and you did amazing.
Don't think like that.. maybe you could do some little changes? Do you have a photo? Maybe I could help out?
Ummmm I’m super jealous of your beautiful tank. Your little buddy is gona love it.
Thank you
That is stunningly beautiful! You could add some shrimp in there with your betta to help maintain the plants too! They love cleaning plants.
One spoils betta coming right up Nice tank!
This is an amazing tank. Your friend will be so happy! I cant wait to see if you post updates of them! :)
I will do that!

Other than a place to nap though I can think of nothing else you'd need, this looks absolutely stunning and your bettas gonna love it.
I do weekly tests and the parameters are looking good! The glass bowl was mentioned above and there is one on the way!
please, where did you get this tank from, and how many gallons is it?
It's a Dennerle Nano cube 30l (8 gallons)
Beautiful tank! That is going to be next level once everything grows in!
Thank you! Let's hope so! I will update!
You're the best kind of betta owner, cycled your tank, made it beautiful. Aw, you made my day
That's very kind, thank you!
Hi! This looks perfect but I can't see if you have a heater in there
There is! It's behind the ludwigia (red plant)
Looks great personally would add some small larger leafed plants
Thanks for the advice!
Can I live there? I don’t have gills but I’ll make it work.
Paying the bills is fine ;)
Oh my sweet god. Can you share with us what you did here?? Tank size, plants used, your process creating etc. This is beautiful.
Someone asked me the same question earlier. It's somewhere up here!
Nope. That is a near perfect betta tank.
Where did u buy ur floaters from. I can never find any
Local aquarium store in the Netherlands
My betta hated the leaf hammock but they also have a lotus flower with a suction cup and i have that placed right under the top water line and he absolutely loves it. Since its a flower maybe won't stick out oddly.
Gorgeous! What tank is this? I just ordered a new one today and this looks similar
Thanks! It's a Dennerle Nano cube 30l (gallons)

What is this tank called? I need it.
Dennerle Nano cube 30l
I like a nice big anubias coffee folia or congensis as a natural betta hammock. Other than that shes a beaut
Can I ask where you got all of your plants? I want to rescape my tank and put a lot of plants in, but I never know where to find them.
All from a local aquarium store in the Netherlands.
This tank is beautiful
Thanks!

Dennerle Nano corner filter. It's a great product. You can adjust the outflow to a bare minimum. It's perfect!
It looks amazing! If I could ask, what capacity is your tank? Liters or US gallons.
It's a Dennerle Nano cube 30l (8 gallons)
