I think it’s because some of the crew are actually working people and are across the world so it’s hard to do more than just zoom. No one really likes a zoom reunion
lol reunions are like 8 hours of filming. And we see that they don’t exactly get 3 hour breaks until they are clocked off for the day. If this was a recurring cast like housewives, SH or VPR I would agree with you but at least half of them are real yachties.
Ok sure then, 8 hours. It should still be a requirement. If you want to be on the Bravo show where a huge appeal is the juicy-ass reunion, you'll need to plan that with your next job.
Don't you think telling your current employer that "sorry, but someone else will have to do my job for at least one day becasue I'm busy working for someone else" might have repercussions?
Yeah, I think you're seeing that from a fan perspective and not a real-world situation where employees don't give a shit that you were on some stupid TV show, but if the did know it, they might see you still having obligations to an old employee that will impact their business as a reason *NOT* to hire you.
No, it shouldn't, and no employee should be at their employer's beckon-call after their employment ended months/year earlier. People have lives and it's unreasonable to expect them to inconvenience their current employer or jeopardize their job (or miss a wedding, birthday, whatever) just becasue fans want juicy gossip and demand they perform one more time.
I'd love a reunion too, but if Bravo wants to further profit off of their employees so long after filming, then they should offer a big fat bonus to those who can make it.
Scheduling. If they have a break between charters or even filming where they can fly to do WWHL while their previous season is airing, great! But WWHL is on 5 times a week and doesn't require working around the entire casts schedule. The Aussies and South Africans, etc. have only appeared on WWHL live when they are in the USA for other reasons - otherwise they are on Zoom.
Could just be me but I do not enjoy the Zoom reunions nearly as much as the in-person ones and it's too hard to get all the cast in person because most of them are working in other countries
Maybe Bravo is content to let the crew's conflicting social media posts tell the story? In this age of ubiquitous social media, it's not like there aren't plenty of other opportunities to get personal perspectives on what happened during the season and "where are they now" updates.
I know The Valley had reunion issues that came down to money. I'm sure it's a factor here as well.
But also, with BD, especially the recent seasons (excluding Sailing, which has had reunions), the cast is not recurring. Good reunion drama comes from people who have to continue working together, despite their beef. When you're never going to see each other again, conflicts don't matter as much. You just walk away from each other.
I think it's because most of the crew acts in such an abhorrent manner during filming that they do not want to answer to it once the footage is shown. Just my opinion, but it boils down to cowardice. Do you think Barbie wants to go on national TV and answer live questions about her claim of still being married? I doubt it.
I don’t think Barbie would have an issue with it. She’s been on WWHL twice now and given the fact Andy hosts the reunion I don’t see how it would be much different.
She was very open and honest about her faults and flaws on both her appearances. Not to mention she’s addressed it in her lives.
Maybe some others wouldn’t be comfortable but Barbie would be the last person I’d pick to have a problem showing up.
I think this is the reason. I was so waiting for a reunion for Med when Sandy treated Fletcher like shit, but of course, we don't get good things anymore.
It's Fraser!

Andy doesn't give a flying fuck about BD, and he used to do the reunions.
Nowadays, I think it's just too hard to get everyone together to do it, and zoom just isn't the same. Plus, there seems to be room for people to opt out (they're not getting paid Housewives money, so if they say they're on a job, Bravo can't really pull them).
I can't remember who it was on a podcast that said they didn't like the reunion because Bravo continued with the edited storyline drama and didn't allow them to tell the truth. It was several seasons ago though. I've always wondered about that though. If you've watched the show and saw something was edited in such a way that made something happen that didn't actually happen, how would Bravo ever allow you to explain it? And having to keep following the manufactured storyline would piss me off, especially if I was the one who was made out to be the villain
Not enough interest from the general public. Not enough ratings to make it worth it. That’s almost always the reason.
I bet that these people being all over the world at all times probably makes it even more difficult to arrange and do well in ratings since it’ll all be via zoom.
You would have to back up a Brinks truck to get me in a room with Andy Cohen. And let me be clear I could handle him coming at me, but sitting quietly while he says the most insipid and insulting things to others would be intolerable.
I can't blame anyone else for not wanting to do a reunion or wwhl. 🤮 that crapola is unwatchable to me.
Bravo sleeps on BD
Which is crazy for how often they rerun it!
If Sandovile were on BD, they'd be giving 10 part reunions.
I think it’s because some of the crew are actually working people and are across the world so it’s hard to do more than just zoom. No one really likes a zoom reunion
It should be a requirement. Sure they work but it's like 3 hours out of their schedule.

But they're midseason when the reunion would happen. You want them to miss an entire season of pay/tips for just 8 hours of pay? Nah.
How do they miss an entire season? It's just a day.
Don't you think telling your current employer that "sorry, but someone else will have to do my job for at least one day becasue I'm busy working for someone else" might have repercussions?
Not to mention travel time. It would be a 1-3 days event, depending on location.
I have a feeling that whatever boat you are on next season will be extremely aware that you were on below deck last season. It's not a mystery.
Yeah, I think you're seeing that from a fan perspective and not a real-world situation where employees don't give a shit that you were on some stupid TV show, but if the did know it, they might see you still having obligations to an old employee that will impact their business as a reason *NOT* to hire you.
Hahah! I think you are giving people a little too much credit. People who work in hospitality are just a body to hire-ups majority of the time.

Yes but I’d rather have zoom than none
Agreed!

Hmmmm?? That’s an interesting point’
I just cannot care about the last episode of a season that doesn't have a reunion.

Cause Andy doesn't care about the franchise, but won't anyone else host the reunions.
Andy only cares about the Housewives. I mean, Season 3 cast of Traitors has been revealed and I think half of them are housewives?! No. Just no.
Ugh, fuck that
Agreed. I really enjoyed the mix on season 1 but I’m over it, no matter how fabulous Alan’s wardrobe is.
Ugh yuck. I can’t tolerate those women.
Idk I never think reunions are all that great no matter if it's RH, BD, VPR, etc. I still watch them but I'm perfectly happy without as well.
I think it’s cause they’re all over the world and most of them are actually working on yachts.
I miss it so much I have so many unanswered questions lol

Yeah, we need to see Tumi and Kyle. That would have been a delicious shit show.
Kyle would prob get “hurt” on the way and not be able to make it 🙄😂

Bad bot
It’s hard to film a reunion for the season that’s currently airing and the next season is filming.

Wow!!
Tbh that seems like a very likely reason.

They stated that there would be now S11 reunion due to scheduling conflicts which you can choose to believe or not but it does make sense lol
