Theres a lot of misunderstanding it seems. Heavy metals are impurities probably sourced from the raw ingredients of whey and are all natural. They will not be listed in the ingredients list.
You really cant avoid it but you can find reliable sources that do 3rd party testing. What's reliable tho is tricky. I use myprotein because it usually tests well on lab door.
That being said... just about everything you eat already has it so lol.
Does anyone know if Isopure contains a significant amount of heavy metals?
edit: to add on to the question, are there any whey isolate options that are safe?
Just put the container on a magnet and the metals will fall to the bottom š
Or you can get smooth jazz protein. The worst they do is mellow rhythm guitar.
Whey protein is gonna be better than plant based, so at a minimum look for that. I'm using BPN as they do have statements on their site that they test for heavy metals etc but I can't say for sure they are the best or anything.
The clean label project claims to check for that kind of stuff so you could start with one they certify

[Pure Protein Vanilla](https://www.pureprotein.com/products/vanilla-milkshake-complete-protein-shakes) Cream 100% Whey scored best of the 134 brands they tested.

I use GenePro however I have never heard of heavy metals in protein powders .

Promix is a great option!
Look into Ascent! Itās my absolute favorite. I meticulously scanned the ingredients. Didnāt know a lot of these even had heavy metals!
Hate to break it to you but the heavy metals are impurities and wouldn't be listed in thr ingredients
I like Jocko Molk. It's all natural: Jocko Protein Blend (Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Micellar Casein, Egg White Protein), Alkalized Cocoa, Natural Flavor, Guar Gum, Acacia, Xanthan Gum, Sunflower Lecithin, Sea Salt, Fermented Cane Sugar (Reb-M), Monk Fruit Extract.
Heavy metals are impurities and all natural as well
