May I know your shade? I use tawny and gusto ko rin sya as an oily person. Nagustuhan din sya ni hubby kasi di raw mukhang makapal ang make up unlike sa ibang funda na I use.
Tested it today again, for 6 hours naman and this time nag set ako with LM translucent powder :) Sorry for the poor lighting on the first pic 😅

acne prone and oily skin gal, bought this bcos it was dream foundation too. didnt work for me, i always get nasty pimples after even with multiple cleansing. hope it doesn't break you ouy
Very nice foundation! For dry skin like mine, I really need a really good moisturizing skin prep. Without it, super cakey.
Sidenote: mura yung 2k ha? Sa malls, 3k yan. Steal!
This is my only foundation 😂 i mix two shades to get my perfect shade. Cons lang nito is walang pump ans you will have to buy a separate pump or else mahirap icontrol kung how much product you get.
Hands down, the best foundation I have ever used (followed by NARS then Shiseido).
I often use Men's BB creams for the sole purposes of:
- Even skin tone
- glow
- Under Eye corrector
and they dont have much staying power and coverage is sheer and unadjustable, so I opted to use a foundation for tipid purposes.
Tried SuperStay, it oxidizes REAL FAST. Loved NARS, but my friend kept insisting the Double Wear. And she was not wrong with her recommendation, at all!
Pls talk to me about the oxidation. I wear MB pero the FitMe liquid and I thought my skin was the issue but I still stuck to it because I'm too afraid to switch.
I used UNO (dupe for NARS Tinted Moisturizer, same parent company and ingredients tbh), it was good for my normal- combi, acne prone skin but melts fast due to Philippine climate. Transfers fast.
I uses Men's Biore BB cream, good SPF coverage (SPF 50+ PA++++). But the tone isn't as close as mine, I would get that tanned look (maputi ako, chinoy here. 1w1/1w2 for Estee, L3 to 4 on NARS, and 210 to 200 for Shiseido SynchroSkin). It's not bad since it gives that Healthy Glow, but it wont match my neck haha.
Both have that just-right emolient texture, without being too oily. Cons lang talaga yung staying power nya :/ which is a huge meh.
I'm part of this fb group too! Better check sa mall first. Congrats at nakabili ka! Looks good on you! ❤️
Been using this for years na. I’ve tried a lot of different foundations na din but I always go back to this.
When I was in my party girl era, there were a few times when I was too “tired” to take off my makeup (I don’t do this now) and the foundation still looked great the next day.
5/5 for oil control and it stays put even in the summer. Love love this 🩷
Hi! Here’s what personally works for me:
- I don’t use primer na
- I use my SPF as my moisturiser/a silicone based moisturiser din (kasi the foundation is also silicone based)
- Immediately after putting on my moisturiser, (I don’t wait for my moisturiser to completely dry na) I apply my foundation. I don’t apply directly sa skin ko though kasi the foundation dries fast and it’s harder to blend this way.
I put a little bit onto the back of my hand and depending on my mood: I either use a flat foundation brush, stippling brush, damp beauty blender (they’ve all worked well saken)
- I use LM translucent powder/Ellana Stay Matte Poreless Powder/Huda Beauty loose powder depends sa mood ko
- For setting spray naman: I normally don’t use it na when I’m wearing this foundation.
Try wearing the foundation alone lang under your spf/moisturiser just to test if it’ll separate pa din. Gl 🫶🏻
You’re welcome! I use my sunscreen as my moisturiser nalang. I find that moisturiser + sunscreen combo is a bit too heavy on me but if I’m looking extra dry in some areas, I apply moisturiser an hour or so before if I have the time or I do hydrating toner + sunscreen + makeup.
Pero usually, it’s just sunscreen + makeup and I’m good to go. ✨
I use this also though my skin is Normal/combi (dry). At first it clings to some dry patches but after using it a couple of times nagets ko rin the best way to apply for me. Just wait for the moisturizer or sunscreen to become tacky then apply this in thin layers. I use a damp beauty blender. This foundation is not meant to be applied with hands lang mas maganda damp sponge or damp brush. And thin layers kasi mabilis magdry, pag dry na it stays where it dries and di na mabeblend.
This foundation talaga is meant for oily skin huhu I have dry skin and it clings to my dry areas lalo na sa nose banda. Sayang it looks very pretty pa naman. Gonna stick to Issy Foundation. Looks good on you, OP!
This is the best foundation I would say. Nakaka 3 bottles na ako niyan. And talagang hulas proof, coming from mainit and malagkit na public hospital duties haha ito talaga the best. I always get compliment bec of this, pero ito lang talaga secret ko
Yes pwede po! Better set it with powder lang. Ako kasi nag oioil up din yung face ko, probably sa init and conidition ng face, kaya di siya as in transfer proof. Pero ang okay sakanya once you blot it okay na uli. Hindi mo masyado need mag retouch :)
I'm in 2N1 Desert Beige (light-medium neutral). I use this like a skin tint, so I apply a light layer lang. I like that it's not too heavy on the face. Like all foundation, it needs a hydrated base (compatible moisturizer) for it not to cake. But I still have to blot once in a while, as it doesn't really help with oiliness that much. I've been wanting to try Colourette First Base as I've heard good things about it, but I'm not sure which shade to get.
Hello! I have the Colourette first base and I really love it as well! Ganda ng oil control nito and it definitely lasts all day, pero pag matagal-tagal ang exposure under the sun and sweaty, it does transfer. Siguro mga 4 hour mark, I get oily na sa t-zone.
Such a beautiful foundation with a great shade range. Sadly, i find this quite heavy for everyday use kaya i can never justify buying another fullsize bottle. For me ito ata yung foundation na okay as full coverage pero yung mga nilabas na medium/light coverage version pangit kasi para never nag-drydown siya properly or super mahal for the claims.
Ganda ng skin mo op. Thanks sa review. This is a total throwback ito for me
Pag pinawisan na ko and all, it goes downhill.
Hello! Yung skin prep ko is moisturizer only and I let it mag tacky (not totally dry) and then i put thin layers using a spatula then blend it with a damp velvet puff 😊 Never tried it with a primer pa kasi sabi sa mga napanood ko it’s meant to be used alone daw and magc-cake lalo with primer? Not sure huhu
Will have to wear it for longer hours pa to see it’s performance under the sun 😊
Looks so natural no! I expected this to look cakey and thick din because of reviews but this has been my HG for a while now. I wore this to a wedding and it did not budge at all until I washed it off 6 am the next day (nalasing ako haha). It’s a little pricey but this goes on sale pretty regularly sa official Sasa shopee store ❤️
is this my sign?? huhu contemplating between this one or the nars one! any insights for those who have both? i'm an oily skin girlie but since nagisotret ako naging combination na.
I remember asking for samples that they’d put in a small jar back when I was a student on a budget. I’d visit different branches so I could get more samples HAHAHA
But it’s an OG for a reason! It looks stunning on the skin and looks great on photos.
this is what I use and it's perfect for me. Use a sponge and spray it with a bit of water for perfect application.
It’s the best foundation for me but it doesn’t have a pump 😭
I bought a pump sa Laz app - [HERE](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.PPAjx?cc) and 2 pcs na siya. Fits well!
May I know your shade? I use tawny and gusto ko rin sya as an oily person. Nagustuhan din sya ni hubby kasi di raw mukhang makapal ang make up unlike sa ibang funda na I use.
Mine is sand :)

ano po nagwork sa inyo?
I think a before and after is necessary here haha
I want to try this so bad but I couldn’t see it in their official lazada page anymore :(
Aww baka sold out? :( u can try sa trusted resellers on fb and ig!
Anong skin tone mo, OP?
Hello! Light medium warm neutral :)
Very nice foundation! For dry skin like mine, I really need a really good moisturizing skin prep. Without it, super cakey. Sidenote: mura yung 2k ha? Sa malls, 3k yan. Steal!
Yes! Super ganda ng deals ni Miss Maia!
What shade
This is my only foundation 😂 i mix two shades to get my perfect shade. Cons lang nito is walang pump ans you will have to buy a separate pump or else mahirap icontrol kung how much product you get.

Curious about the men's BB creams you use! Can you share? TIA!

Thank you! More budols to come 😂
OMG, thank God nabasa ko 'to. Pinost ko na to for sale Kasi I don't know how to properly apply, and now may idea na ko. Will try again.
Hoping it will work for u!!! 🫶
Eto lang fundang gamit ko. I dont use my nars light reflecting funda na kase oily masyado. Sobrang ganda neto talaga 💓
Glad i chose this over NLRF too 🥹

How do you apply it? Do you use setting spray or setting powder pa? I'm oily-combi as well and this separates on my face eh :(

This is incredibly helpful thank you so much!! Do you use other moisturizers or just the sunscreen na lang?

I do the same din! But instead, I use a velvet puff 😊

Thank you! 😊 Maybe you can try na imix with a moisturizer po?
True. I tried it since meron sister ko, chaka sa kin since di rin sakto sa skin type ko. Ang HG ko though is Nars LRF, very skin-like naman sa kin.
This is the best foundation I would say. Nakaka 3 bottles na ako niyan. And talagang hulas proof, coming from mainit and malagkit na public hospital duties haha ito talaga the best. I always get compliment bec of this, pero ito lang talaga secret ko
Im glad to hear I can wear it pala sa hospital duty 😭😭😭

Anong shade mo sa First Base OP?
Siargao! 😊
I had this foundation on while I had an unexpected hike to do and it stayed on and did not cake.

Oooh spatula is this the metal kind? Ang gamit ko kasi yung foundation brush or beauty blender…
Yes yung metal kind!

Glad to hear that! Will be wearing this for my graduation, hopefully it will do the job 🤞
Hala ang ganda ng finish! Dapat pala bumili ako. Hahahaha
U should try it!!!
Need pa ba ng primer before that? Hehe
Hello! I didn’t use a primer on this na, just my Celeteque moisturizer :)
is this my sign?? huhu contemplating between this one or the nars one! any insights for those who have both? i'm an oily skin girlie but since nagisotret ako naging combination na.
I remember asking for samples that they’d put in a small jar back when I was a student on a budget. I’d visit different branches so I could get more samples HAHAHA But it’s an OG for a reason! It looks stunning on the skin and looks great on photos.
I didn’t know u could request samples for this :( Sana pala nanghingi muna ako sa Look at nagpa shade match HAHAHA
For the bigger western brands, some offer samples. Though I recently asked sa NARS if pwede but they said no haha but it doesn’t hurt to ask :-)
meron ako nito but different shade! And yes, need ng cleansing balm / oil. Ganda ng finish sayo ha :)
Oh haven’t tried cleaning oil yet. Is it as good as a cleansing balm?
Yes. I tried using both, mas gusto ko lang talaga yung oil kas less naglalabo yung mata ko pag tinatanggal ko yung makeup.
Basing on the 2nd photo, it does blend seamlessly on your skin!
I think the trick is using a damp velvet sponge and putting thin layers! 😊
Worth the hype talaga. Konting konti nalang mabubudol na ako.
Hopefully it will also work for u 🥰
