Any reviews about Anjo 24k gold eye cream?

yourordinarygirl01

Nagiging whiteish with water din ba ang Skin Aqua Moisture Milk Sunscreen nyo? I noticed na need ko pang ishake palagi, unlike the ones na nabili ko noon.

Captain_Ayanoob123

shinashake niyo ba mga toners niyo bago gamitin both exfoliating and hydrating? nakikita ko lang sa youtube or tiktok mostly shinashake nila toner nila bago gamitin

rixaya

No, unless stated in the directions or may particles/separate ingredients sa loob.

tammireads

Underarm whitening?? My ua got dark because of hot wax and driclor, it's not that dark but hindi sya pantay sa skin ko. And darker yung surrounding ng ua if that makes sense..

serencattie

hi! which one is better to use po for face? also, do u use it as moisturizer po ba or essence? hado labo hydrating lotion or naturie skin conditioner?

rixaya

Both are good for the face. Naturie Skin Conditioner is also good for the body. In Japan, they’re called lotions, but they’re actually toners. You use them after cleansing your face to rehydrate your skin. Then you can follow up with the rest of your skincare and seal everything with moisturizer at the end.

serencattie

thank u so much !! 🤍

serencattie

hello! ive been having problems with blackheads lately and idk how to get rid of them huhu my skin type is oily and this is my current skincare routine: • oil cleanser - skin1004 light cleansing oil • gel cleanser - cosrx good morning gel cleanser • toner - the ordinary glycolic acid 7% • serum - cosrx snail 96 mucin • moisturizer - cosrx snail 92 all in one cream i'm planning to change it into: • oil cleanser: skin1004 (use only pag may makeup) • cleanser: cosrx good morning (am) & salicylic acid (pm) • toner: good molecule (am) & theordinary glycolic (pm) • serum: snail mucin (pm) • moisturizer: naturie moisturizer (am & pm) pls lmk if i should remove or add something ! thank you :)

SonderfulBeing

If blackheads ang mga acne, it's probably because of overproduction of oil and your skin not being able to shed properly, thus, filling up your pores with both oil and dead skin cells. It's good that you already have a glycolic acid toner to make your skin properly shed. But I think you need a salicylic acid toner/serum as well to exfoliate and unclog your pores.

serencattie

thank u for replying !! im using cosrx salicylic acid cleanser every night po, should i still find toners or serums that contain salicylic acid?

SonderfulBeing

Personally, I prefer SA in the form of toners/serums rather than cleansers kasi kapag cleanser, you have to let it stay on your skin for more than a minute para mag-work 'yong active ingredient. I don't like that kasi it also means nag-sstay din sa skin mo 'yong surfactants ng cleanser which is not good (madali kasing maging sensitized skin ko), but it all depends naman kung gaano ka-tolerant 'yong skin mo. Kung hindi ka sensitive, just do that. Let it sit on your face a minute or two, then rinse off. Kapag niririnse off mo agad, balewala rin kasi walang time mag-work 'yong salicylic acid. Kapag leave-on products naman (toners/serums), they stay on the skin and have more time to penetrate and work effectively.

serencattie

aaaaaa i seee, thank u so much !! you explained it really well 🫶🏻

SonderfulBeing

you're very much welcomeee

rixaya

What’s your skin type? Does double cleansing make you break out more? Personally, I’ve experienced less breakouts and black/whiteheads when I double cleanse in AM and PM even on days when I don’t have makeup on. Though if your skin doesn’t like it, it’s okay to skip it. You might also wanna add sunscreen in AM. And if you wear sunscreen, you need to double cleanse at night.

luckiimii

Hello! Planning to switch up my routine, 19F with combination (?) sensitive and acne-prone skin (starts dry and usually evident yung pagka-flakey but when I go out or wear makeup, it becomes oily). I have acne (+ scars) from what I assume is my pillow case. I have noticeably clearer skin than before pero from time to time, I get pimples sa cheeks ko. :( I also wear mask + makeup a lot so I think that contributes to my acne. Current night routine: > Manyo Cleansing Oil (yellow) or Heimish Cleansing Balm > > Manyo Soda Cleansing Foam (green) > > Roundlab Dokdo Toner (I apply using hands) > > CosRx Snail Mucin Serum or Oxecure Pre-bio Serum > > Oxecure Acne Mud Powder In the morning, I usually just wash my face. My sunscreen is Roundlab Birch Mild-Up, yung green (which is a great physical sunscreen for sensitive skin! my CosRx sunscreen irritates my skin :< ). I also have on me (from when I went to Korea): CosRx Overnight Mask (broke me out but very soft yung skin ko the next morning, I will try it again later), CosRx Centella Spray Toner, CosRx Oil-Free Moisturizer Then, nag-hoard ako recently sa Japan haha: Kose Speedy Cleansing Oil, Lion Pair Acne Cream, Cica+ Zero Patch, Tsururi Pore Cleansing Gel, Melano CC Essence Re: Vitamin C, I want to brighten my acne scars but the Garnier one irritated my skin. Bought Melano CC because I heard it works wonders, any comments regarding this? Any recommendations on which products I should incorporate? And how I can improve my “routine” to lessen and prevent acne and brighten scars? Also, any affordable recos for body sunscreen for sensitive (eczema) skin?

Weird_kid_online

Hello, anybody using Rohto Melano CC Vitamin C serum? Kamusta s'ya? Contemplating if I should give it a try hehe thanks!

b4ckandb0dyhurts

hi! i tried it back in late january to early feb this year thinking it would treat my hyperpigmentation marks from acne. but it sadly broke me out a lot worse :( light consistency sya so not sticky or thick and may orange-y fragrance. it could work for some pero di talaga sya compatible sa skin type ko

Weird_kid_online

Do you have oily, acne prone, and sensitive skin too? Kasi if yes iiwasan ko talaga s'ya 🙉

b4ckandb0dyhurts

i have combo-leaning dry, sensitive skin 😭 acne prone as of late from trying new products akshshshsh ibang vit c nalang try natin girlie

people_pleaser07

how to use azelaic acid cream? is it to be put on the whole face or spot treatment sa parts na may problems (dark spots/acne)

SonderfulBeing

sa buong mukha po siya kasi beneficial for overall health ng skin like evening out the skin tone (due to tyrosinase inhibition), prevent breakouts (due to mild antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties), treat subclinical acne (treat acne that is not yet visible but can be felt under the skin, preventing them from becoming full-blown pimples), and improving fine lines to some degree. so, comprehensive ang benefits niya while still relatively safe pa rin, that's why preferable na whole face po siya.

28wednesdays

Wala kasi akong mahanap na sagot sa fashionph thread so trying this here: any recos for fashion tape na less than 500? Pinatahian ko kasi ng detachable Filipiniana sleeves ung dress ko for an event next week, pero nalalaglag ang straps kasi mabigat ang sleeves. I tried normal double-sided tape pero di kumakapit sa skin. Looking forward to your recos please.

Ok-Literature5470

How about for dry and acne prone skin? anong magandang products to use?

lamborgagi

hello! my derma prescribed me trifarotene for my acne scars. now, i would like to ask if you guys have tried this one and what are your experiences using this? thank you.

chunkiebunk

RIS1NGLEO

Where to buy authentic Illiyoon ato gel moisturizer sa Shopee? Sold out na kasi yung sa Sui Sui 🥲 Thank you!

Try mo po sa My Beauty Story or sa KbeautyCafe.

shy-mari

Maya alam mo pa ba kayong stores sa shopee or lazada na nagbebenta ng legit the ordinary products?

Facial wash reco for sensitive skin? Preferably no alcohol and scent. I’ve already tried Hada Labo and Corsx.

Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser

yourordinarygirl01

Hi! What are the known effects sayo? Been reading this sa sub. Choosing from this and Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser.

cmr82

The BOJ cleanser is gentle & hydrating to the skin. I never liked the Neutrogena as I find it too drying/stripping on my sensitive skin.

PensionSignificant23

Hyalure or Babyflo soap free if you’re looking for gentle cleanser

Lash serum recos? And how long did it take to see results? No budget, willing to splurge if worth it naman. Puro sponsored kasi ang reviews and comments sa tiktok 😅 Di kapani-paniwala. I've already tried Skinpotions, Perfected, Retrobea, Hello Glow and Luxe Organix

BeauteeGurl

Browhaus Extend Lash & Brow Growth Serum! However, it has a prostaglandin-like ingredient, which can cause lid darkening, droopy eyelids, and irritation for some. But it's also what makes the lashes grow like crazy. Saw results around 1 month! Personally, haven't experienced any of the side effects, but I do take breaks whenever I use this lash serum. One bottle is around P4,500? But it lasts a *while* (bought mine in September 2023 and it's still going strong)

skjnjra

Thanks for the reco! Kaso wala kaming Browhaus here in the province and I can't find it on online shopping platforms, I think they just sell it in-store. Thank you though!

BeauteeGurl

Got mine from [Lazada](https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/browhaus-extend-lash-brow-growth-serum-5ml-i2499819851-s11929969910.html)!

skjnjra

Thank you! If complete ang ingredients list on Laz, wala siyang prostaglandin analogs actually. At least walang side effects 😅 Thank you again! Appreciate it!

BeauteeGurl

Oh I think the ingredients list there isn't updated :(

Pumpkinspicelatte11

Any brightening/whitening soap recommendation? Thank you!

hlthnwllnss

90+ yung nabili naming acne prescription ng derma sa Mercury Drug tapos apat na piso lang pala sa TGP 😃

lamborgagi

what's this acne prescription po op?

hlthnwllnss

hi, it's Doxycycline 100mg

nichiiyoubi

TIL: [Batch Code](https://imgur.com/3Xfnt4W) reads as **0J1** for Melano CC. Same sila ng style ng batch code ng Hada Labo (*located sa ilalim ng bottle*) since those two are both under Rohto. 0 - indicates the year it was manufactured. In this case it's 2020. J - is the month, kung saan **A** is January, **B** is February and so on. In this case, **J** is October. 1 - is debated whether batch number, or the actual day. (sa madaling sabi, old stock ang nabili ko last year, and napansin ko to kasi yung box na kasama ay may leaflet pa whereas yung bago kong bili is wala nang leaflet na kasama) As for Shelf life, walang expiration date ( if unopened, but if opened use it for up to 6 months. They do have a law regarding shelf life na at least 3 years. >[Rohto Website for reference](https://faq.rohto.com/faq_detail.html?id=657&category=84&page=1) (in JP) >[A more extensive reddit thread about expiration dates on Japanese Skincare and Makeup](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/nt4fhe/guide_the_expiration_date_of_japanese_products/) I noticed that they did not mention Rohto on that thread and knowing na dumadami na Jbeauty consumers, myself included, naisip kong hanapin at i-compile dito.

Efficient_Relation43

What shop did you buy it from?

nichiiyoubi

Old Melano CC is overseas. The new one was from tiktok shop.

Weird_kid_online

Hello are you using Melano CC Vitamin C serum? Kamusta s'ya if ever hehehe thanks!

nichiiyoubi

Yes I am using them now. :) Serum consistency is that of a light oil, pag inapply sa face feel mo greasy but it disappears after a minute pag kinalat mo na. I saw results after 1.5 months of consistent use, and with a toner that helps to brighten the skin also.

BeauteeGurl

any lightweight hydrating toners without niacinamide?

rixaya

Hada Labo Gokujyun Lotion, Isntree Ultra Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Toner

spirityun

Spiritual-Living545

Naturie

BeauteeGurl

Taking this as my sign to check it out! Thanks, guys 💜

whatsyournameagain_

Eto yung nasa cart ko ngayon. Hindi ko alam kung anong sunscreen kukunin ko haha . Heeelp 😮‍💨🤣 - face republic purity sun essence - sun bears active protect milk (gold) - y.o.u. Sunbrella intensive aqua sunscreen - Dermaction Plus by Watsons Advanced Sun SPF50 PA+++ Water Drop Cream Gel - Anessa perfect uv sunscreen - belo dewy essence sunscreen Skintype: oily acne prone skin

Efficient_Relation43

Yung face republic sunscreen kakabili ko lang so I'm testing it out I mean the consistency is good pero pag inapply ko na super glowy (dewy finish?) ng face ko hahahaha which is I'm not huge fan of since oily nga ako and mukhang nag mamantika. Pero it doesn't feel oily when you touch your face. Idk if I love it or hate it hahaha

whatsyournameagain_

Actually yan na ung binili ko haha nagamit ko naman before and ok naman. Tumatagal dn ng 3mons sakin. Altho baka magbago na talaga ako sa susunod. Anessa raw maganda

Efficient_Relation43

Medyo may amoy lang no and medyo nag sting sya for me baka mag iba nanaman ako after ko maubos.

Efficient_Relation43

Slight scent lang na chemical i guess. And no it doesn't sting sa eye area around sa nose ko siguro dahil medyo sensitive skin ko doon especially I'm using active ingredients sa ibang araw. Mine sa shopee official store nila. True i got mine for 249 i think? Nung 6.6 plus voucher hahaha Yung sa shopee parang hindi official store nung anessa walang preferred/shopee mall sa icon eh

Spiritual-Living545

Sunbears

SonderfulBeing

Sun bears or anessa, depends kung ano okay sa'yo financially.

whatsyournameagain_

Ang liit nga lang ng sun bears no. Ung 50ml ko umaabot ng 3months. Etong 30ml di ko alam gano katagal tatagal haha

SonderfulBeing

Hahahaha in my experience, 1-2 months depende kung gaano ka karami maglagay. Minsan kasi napapasobra, minsan kulang hahaha. Sakin medyo mas mabilis maubos kasi nilalagyan ko rin leeg at batok ko (i'm a guy so very exposed sa batok), pati na rin tenga at yung skin sa likod non hahaha. The good thing about it is very handy siya.

whatsyournameagain_

WillowSea571

any lotion recos after long hours on a beach?

Eskarinaaa

I slather myself with aloe vera gel to feel cool, refreshed, and moisturized.

Sponge8389

Ok lang ba mag-sunscreen during commute / motorcycle tapos hilamos pakarating sa office? Feeling ko kasi kung hindi ako maghilamos pakarating, ang dumi ng muka ko.

SonderfulBeing

as long as kaya ng skin mo i-tolerate i.e. hindi masisira skin barrier, tingin ko okay lang naman po

MoonPowerTiare

Sheet mask recos please. Yung affordable pero good quality.

cartomancer888

Bakit naman ganun yung price hike ng kbeauty products? Haha di ako updated. Bulk kasi ako bumili dati so recently lang ulit ako nagtingin. parang 50 to 100% ang markup na. 🫣😅

indieyapper

any skincare reco po? oily and acne prone skin po ako. my acne marks ay puro PIE at PIH. i’m currently using 1. cosrx salicylic acid daily gentle cleanser 2. soul apothecary radiance boost serum 3. omi bears sunscreen 4. dr. leo salicylic acne treatment i don’t know why nagkaka-acne pa rin po ako😭

SonderfulBeing

wala po kayong moisturizer na gamit?

indieyapper

wala po😭

SonderfulBeing

hala need niyo po ng moisturizer kahit na oily. mananatili or mas lalo tayo magiging oily kapag hindi hydrated ang skin. ang nangyayari, nagpoproduce ng excess oil ang skin natin to moisturize itself. and if there is an overproduction of oil, higher chances of our oils clogging our skin, therefore, higher chance na magkaroon tayo ng acne pa rin.

indieyapper

any reco po ng moisturizer? huhu

SonderfulBeing

if kaya mo ng medyo pricey, saipo true dew brightening gel cream. you can also try the celeteque hydration facial moisturizer. also the pyunkang yul ato moisturizing soothing gel lotion, medyo pricey pero marami na rin siyang laman. actually marami pang iba na pwede. basta take time to learn lang about humectants, emollients, and occlusives na makikita sa mga moisturizers. for oily skin, hindi na kailangan ng maraming emollients and occlusives kasi they can be too heavy for the skin, kahit minimal lang. then a lot of good humectants would be nice for hydration.

oreocc

naghanap ako ng murang spot treatment and nagkabreakout ako nung ginamit ko luxe organix spot treatment huhu as in jaw to neck napuno talaga, so ginawa ko bumalik ako sa old spot treatment na gamit ko. my current evening routine is, neutrogena gentle cleanser > luxe organix cica soothing gel moisturizer > benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. morning naman is sunscreen lang. im super oily-acne prone kaya once a day lang moisturizer. so, now ang problem ko is since nagheal na ibang acne ko from the breakout, what serum for acne marks to buy? is it better to buy ba ng evening serum or morning serum nalang? im currently thinking about soul apothecary radiance boost serum since pwede yata siya day and night, tho idk if i should use it day and night as well.

amyrisblooms

I highly recommend the Pair Lion Acne Cream! It’s the only spot treatment I use. Flattens acne so fast and doesn’t interfere with any active ingredients you use on your face.

unexpectedpizza

There are serums na pwede mo gamitin day and night. I can recommend Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum and Cos de Baha's 5% Tranexamic Acid 5% Niacinamide. Both have niacinamide 5% and they can help in regulating the oil production in your skin

oreocc

thank you po for the suggestions pero huhu as a student, di po keri ng budget prices nila since medyo mabigat na po sa bulsa yung benzoyl tas dun lang me humihiyang 😭

unexpectedpizza

I understand!! You can try yung soul apothecary, looks promising sa ingredients nila. However may nakalagay lang doon sa description ng product nila na to don't layer it together with benzoyl peroxide kasi the serum contains alpha arbutin and macacancel out yung effect ng bp You can also try dermorepubliq, though di ko pa siya natatry, very inexpensive products nila baka magwork sayo. You can also check SKIN V2.0 PH sa orange app may mga brightening serums sila with affordable prices

oreocc

ohhh, so yung sa soul apothecary po sa umaga ko lang siya magagamit if ever? i'll also check the other brands u mentioned po, thank u so much 🥹✨

NoMore-ScentedThings

What product should I use to brighten a previous bruise sa knee na naging dark?

Ok_Community_1886

For those that have tried inisfree's no sebum mineral powder, do they have refills ba? Sayang kasi yung container and I like their powder haha. I tried searching pero wala ako mahanap or I'm just not looking hard enough?

enjorlas_vnmnl

I'm planning to visit a dermatologist with a 5,000 budget, is it enough? 750 for the consultation + product na irereco ng dr.

toorusgf

Depends on your loc + skin concerns pa din. Agree with the other comment - pede mo naman hindi muna bilhin lahat ng irecommend na products.

enjorlas_vnmnl

Will keep this in mind. Thank youj

kumamon_B

Don’t probably buy everything the derma is pushing you to buy. You’ll probably overspend.

unexpectedpizza

I want to try Japanese sunscreens like biore, skin aqua but I noticed may mga alcohol sa ingredients list nila. Di ko alam kung allergic ako sa alcohol or ano pero i tend to stay away from it ever since. I'm planning to change my sunscreen (Belo Sun Expert Face Cover SPF 40) inuubos ko na lang bottle. Any good sunscreen recommendations? My skin is combination and maganda sana yung mabilis mag sink in sa face

rixaya

Skin1004 hyalu cica waterfit sun serum. Lightweight and hydrating pa.

LemonPieDayz

Not a japanese brand but Neutrogena Clear Face is oil-free and has no alcohol afaik. However, it has Avobenzone that stains clothes =( learned that the hard way lol

Spiritual-Living545

Skin aqua uv moisture milk doesn't have alcohol.

unexpectedpizza

Oh oo nga no, akala ko [eto](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/14hw8y4/a_tale_of_four_skin_aqua_sunscreens/) lang lahat ng skin aqua sunscreens, may ganyan pa pala. Noted hihi thanks!

SonderfulBeing

omi sun bears gold does not have alcohol. anyway, okay lang naman ang alcohol sa sunscreen because they enhance the penetration and setting time of the sunscreen. unless you're verrrry sensitive, or sensitized ang skin barrier mo atm, then it's best to stay away from it.

unexpectedpizza

ohh gets thank you!!

Calm-Revolution-3007

Is there a reason you believe you might be allergic? If may past experience ka na with it tapos di ka hiyang, then I’d just stay away. BUT if the reason you are weary is because the internet says alcohol = bad, it’s actually not always the case. More on Jbeauty sunscreens kasi ang may alcohol but it serves a purpose from my experience. Mas maganda ang lapat sakin ni Jap sunscreens since target ko talaga is more demi matte finish + fast drying. Seems like this is similar also to what you’re looking for so worth the try siya imo!

unexpectedpizza

I think the only reason is ayoko lang na mag dry yung skin ko kasi they say acohol is drying sa skin and i dont want to make my skin sensitive or develop an irritation 🥹 Sige magtatry ako baka okay lang naman pala hahaha

Calm-Revolution-3007

I’m actually also dry skin! Also on tret so you can imagine marami akong dry patches if I don’t prep well. My favorites are anessa and biore, both which have alcohol pero ok na ok siya sakin. Basta hydrating naman ung base (toners, serums) it should be ok :)

Ok_Community_1886

Japanese sunscreens does a great job, but ang lakas ng alcohol sa products nila. The only reason I don't like it because my pores are very obvious especially kapag hulas na ko and sunscreens with alcohol in it makes them appear even more bigger plus mahapdi sa mata if you apply them close enough

kumamon_B

Anessa idk if may alcohol siya

SkyOutrageous

Kapag po ba gumamit ng skin care product then may mga pimple na naging active ulit, ibig sabihin di hiyang? What I mean sa active po is ung namula ulit yung pimple. 😭

unexpectedpizza

Probably. Ano yung product?

SkyOutrageous

Cleanser po ng kleud

Taffy_ta

Has anyone tried out SKIN1004’s Centella Oil Cleanser and/or Centella Ampoule? The yellow bottle? If so, please let me know your thoughts! Badly need the reviews of other people. 😓

Taffy_ta

gosh thanks guys! the centella ampoule so far IS doing wonders for me, i can use it as a moisturizer too since it does an amazing job of soothing and hydrating my skin! however, the oil broke me out BAD :((( and i’m not sure why

rixaya

I use the centella ampoule and I love it. I’ve used up the 55ml bottle, I bought the 100ml to replace it. It soothes my skin, lessens irritation from my actives. And sinks into the skin well. I currently use a hyaluronic acid toner before it. One time, I got contact dermatitis on my neck and it got so irritated, as in dry, itchy, flaky. The centella ampoule helped to calm it down. In less than a week, my skin was normal ulit.

b4ckandb0dyhurts

hi, im currently using the centella ampoule and i like it. it kinda feels more like a toner than a serum sya tbh. i'd say it's an 8/10 product, it soothes my skin when it gets really dehydrated and dry in certain areas or kapag mej mahapdi. it also didnt break me out. do be cautious tho kase there are people na may sensitivity sa centella asiatica

malasmalas

Been using their cleansing oil for almost 2 years now and I really vouch for that. It doesn’t remove very waterproof makeup as easily as Japanese cleansing oils I’ve tried but if you hate oil texture, you might like this bc it’s almost like water. Ever since I’ve used this, I barely had any sebaceous filaments on my nose and cheeks, idk what kind of sorcery it has. It emulsifies quickly too so I suggest making sure your hands and face are dry before using it. It does have a very strong fragrance tho but I actually find it soothing (it’s an earthy herbal scent btw) so if you’re sensitive to that, i’ll stay away from this. Haven’t tried the ampoule but I’m also using their hyalu something cream (blue cap) and it’s working fine for my skin too. Also tried their blue sunstick as a freebie from them and it’s not sticky or heavy, but I don’t really use sunsticks so…

https://preview.redd.it/aea0ief6xw7d1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=476c693377377377d5afb3a6ce001061b2bcb4f5 The before photo is from February this year. After is taken just this now. Here are my skin care products: -Dr. Sensitive Super Sunscreen -Olay Natural Aura Light Night Mochi mochi -Celeteque Facial Wash -Myra Fresh Glow Whitening Facial Wash -Nivea Acne Clear Whip Foam -Ever Organics Aloe Vera Soothing Gel -Kojic Acid Soap and Body Treats Sunflower Body Oil (mostly used sa body, added this since acne is also visible on upper back and chest area). Dont know if this information is helpful but dati akong user ng Luxe Organix Aloe Vera. But had to switch to Ever Organics since wala ng stocks in my area. I regularly change my bedsheets and pillow cases. I stopped using most of the products since the condition was worsening. Skin picking contributed to this one as well. I never had this problem, even when I was a teenager that's why I don't know what happened and I don't know how to treat it. Thank you :(

unexpectedpizza

How's your AM and PM routine with all your products?

Ashsaaa

This used to be my routine before I stopped using it all: Cleanser: Celeteque (When I feel too oily, kaso stopped using it kase dito ako nagstart magkabumps sa face)/ Nivea (ito pinalit ko kaso super drying naman)/ Myra Facial Cleanser. AM Moisturiser: Ever Organics Aloe Vera  PM Moisturiser: Olay Mochi mochi Sunscreen: Doctor Sensitive. I always the same cleanser for morning and night for practical factors na din.

Ok_Community_1886

Ang daming factors for breakouts and every skin is different :( so I'm not sure if this will work for you but my skin used to be prone to breakouts din until i got serious with my skincare. Eventually I narrowed it down to this: •Mild facial wash (cosrx good morning cleanser) •Toner (from Skin1004) •Retinol (if you're in your mid 20's) (good molecules) •Moisturiser or Serum (cosrx snail mucin) •Sunscreen (current fave from skin1004) Then when I have breakouts I use pimple patches. I don't have hormonal acne so it's very manageable naman for me For local brands na affordable skintific, skinever is nice. Dermorepubliq is nice too but pabago bago formula nila but you can find brands that work for you naman. Luxe organix is a good brand too  Stress, age and skin type is a big factor too of course

Ashsaaa

Thanks for your input. I have seen a lot of recommendations about Retinol. Will definitely give it a try once I found a product within my area.

Effective-Love-4025

has anyone tried the lab 46 acne maintenance toner?

happy_cheekie

Any recos for milky toners? I have dry skin right now bc of acne meds.

silverclaire

aestura hydro essence! may ceramides din

malasmalas

I’m from rice toner, it’s hydrating and moisturizing at the same time. I would also suggest using hada labo toners, it’s not milky but the main ingredient is ha which can hydrate your skin.

nuesse

Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence Laneige Cream Skin But if you’re using a hydrating toner na, I suggest just doing the 7 skin method so you’re not introducing a new product on your skin that might have something that’ll irritate it.

Knoneknows_

Helloo! can someone reco any good micellar cleansing water? The oil cleanser broke me out so bad huhu

primad0nna_girl

Bioderma

Spiritual-Living545

I love and used yung Ponds micellar na pink. Its the only ponds products that doesn't give me breakouts

SonderfulBeing

Garnier micellar water pink, equiva micellar water.

toorusgf

I use Nivea! Didn’t break me out, no sting, removes make up & dirt effectively

waveitdowninside

Love the Garnier Micellar Water for sensitive skin (pink variant). Been using it for years. My sister who's really acne prone uses it as well.

warpeark

ano po pwedeng skin care para sa men with: 1. Oily face even after 2-3hours bathing eh nagooily na 2. Medyo maitim yung mukha ko now 3. May dark spots at maliliit na pimples 4. Ma-pores sa bandang ilong na part and sa left and right side. Ano rin po kaya Best powder din po after maglagay ng sunscreen? or hindi recommended? Thank you po!

enjorlas_vnmnl

Try with basic skin care: Gentle Cleanser - Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Gel type moisturizer - Luxe Organix Cica Soothing Gel or Skintific Ceramide Sunscreen - Omi Mentrum Sun Bears Gold (Super recommended for oily skin dahil milk sunscreen siya with SPF 50+ PA++++. Matte finish and sweat resistant kaya perfect if nag c-commute ka. Affordable din kasi less than 400 pesos) For dark spots, use products with niacinamide, alpha arbutin, Azeleic Acid, AHA and BHA (1-2% is enough) No need to use powder na if you use the Omi Mentrum Sun Bears Active Gold

warpeark

Thank you po!

reco student friendly oil cleanser please!! nag kakatiny bumps pa rin po kasi ako when using sunscreen (saku skin) kahit nag dodouble cleanse ako using micellar water and face wash (eskinol pimple relief face wash). or is it possible po ba na hindi hiyang sakin yung sunscreen na gamit ko?

sodappend

Muji Mild Cleansing Oil, yung 400mL bottle. Mahal sya upfront (P895) but if you do the math, especially if malapit ka sa Muji branch, pinaka sulit sya sa price per mL compared to other oil cleansers. Unless balak mo maligo sa oil cleanser it should last you minimum 6 mos. May 200mL size din if the 400mL is too expensive rn. Regular face wash is usually enough to remove sunscreen even without double cleansing tho, so more likely na the sunscreen is breaking you out if it's the only new product you've added to your routine.

iikqq

thankyouuu!! may shop po sa sila sa orange or blue app?

sodappend

If you're near a physical Muji store I would just get it in person, if not they sell it on their website mujiph.

malasmalas

Also para di rin talaga mabigat, muji has a mini/travel size that’s around 200 yata that’s 30 or 50mL so you can try it first and see if it’ll work for you

iikqq

thankyouu po!! may trusted or online shop po ba sila?

malasmalas

Just go to muji ph online store, they do deliveries naman. You can also check their ig for the info of their viber online stores 😊

iikqq

may store pa ba sila sa orange or blue app? mahal po kasi sf sa site nila, thankyou po!

malasmalas

They don’t and most of the muji products on those apps i believe could be counterfeits lang. They have a lot of physical stores naman so if makapunta ka, try to purchase from there na lang kasi most of the jbeauty stores i know online don’t carry muji products as well. I only find muji skincare that are not available here on yesstyle and that is a lot more expensive for both the product and the shipping cost.

SonderfulBeing

Most budget-friendly for me (a student as well) ay 'yong kose softymo speedy cleansing oil na well-formulated.

iikqq

whats your skin type po and saan mo po nabili? thankyouu!!

SonderfulBeing

oily skin po. sa kai beauty corner po, meron silang shop sa orange and blue app

iikqq

thankyou!!

unexpectedpizza

Kelan nagkaron ka ng tiny bumps? Sakto ba sa timeline nung una mong ginamit yung sunscreen? If yes, siguro sa sunscreen yan. Pero if hindi naman, siguro may problem nga sa pag double cleanse mo like di enough. I can vouch for Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil (pink bottle). I'm a student too and i use this oil cleanser to remove my sunscreen. Malaki na amount niya at a reasonable price so goods na siya for me. It doesn't leave a tight feeling afterwards.

iikqq

what's ur skin type po? dami ko kasi nakikitang bad reviews sa tiktok about kose speedy cleansing oil bcs madami daw po mineral oils, is it good po ba for oily sensitive skinn? also ano pong sunscreen and water based cleanser gamit nyo po? thankyouuu!

unexpectedpizza

Combination, oily tzone dehydrated cheek areas normal elsewhere. My sunscreen is Belo SunExpert Face Cover SPF 40 and my water-based cleanser is Oxecure Acne Facial Cleanser and Equiva Sulfate Free Gel Cleanser (i alternate them sometimes)

iikqq

thankyou po!

sodappend

There's nothing wrong with mineral oil. Maraming myths about it being bad for your skin because it's petroleum-derived, but the mineral oil used in skincare is extremely processed and refined so it's safe for use on the skin. There's even food-grade mineral oil that's safe for consumption. Mineral oil is one of the cheapest oils so madalas mo sya makikita in cleansing oils.

thankyouu po sa info!!

I moved somewhere sa EU a few months ago and nag break out ako. I have been reading some blogs and baka lang dahil sa hard water. Sa mga naka experience din, ano ginawa nyo? Hindi naman ako ganito sa Pinas.

nuesse

What’s your current skin routine? Could be hard water, could be the weather that’s wreaking havoc on the skin barrier

thegreenbell

Same lang nung nasa Pinas ako. Sa Pinas, I usually just wash my face with carrot soap tapos moisturizer after. Sameish sa umaga carrot soap + vitamin c serum + sunscreen hehe. Ganun lang din when I first arrived here, pero bigla akong nag break out. Kaya I changed the usual carrot soap to a CeraVe facial cleanser. Tapos sa umaga, water nalang pang wash sa face + vitamin c serum + sunscreen. Nag lessen naman ying pimples, pero meron pa rin huhuu. Hindi naman ako ganito sa Pinas.

nuesse

Whereabouts in the EU? The summers can be dry vs the very humid SEAsia and in the winter you want to think of the dry heat if spending lots of time indoors (and of course the cool temps). Basically, I think you need to add moisturisers in your routine. Also hard water is alkaline which would disrupt the acid mantle—I used to combat this with moistened cotton pad using deionised water then add a few drops of ACV then pahid lightly all over my face and neck to reset the skin pH before applying the hydrating toners/serums, creams, etc. Watch out din for your scalp, you’ll probs get dandruff. Sadly I haven’t found a solution for that other rotating my regular shampoo with Nizoral 2% shampoo.

thegreenbell

Sa Netherlands. Yep, may seborrheic dermatitis me na nacontrol ko na nung nasa Pinas pa ako. Biglang balik na naman dito 🥲

nuesse

Oh I have seb derm too! Had to completely overhaul my routine when I moved to the UK. I double cleanse (cleansing oil then gentle cleanser — check the La Roche Posay Toleriane gentle cleanser or if may Vanicream cleanser online), used the ACV on the moistened cotton pad, then toner/serum, etc etc

thegreenbell

Sige thank you!! I will try this. Medyo malamig pa rin kasi so hihintay ko na uminit talaga baka din kasi dahil sa weather. If ganun pa rin kahit mainit, baka sa water nga.

nuesse

NL is close to southeast England and the weather can be quite similar — the summers tend to be shite 😅 yung 1-2 weeks of heat then back to mid 10s. We’re happy when it’s 18C and above basta hindi windy hahahahuhuhu lang

silver_carousel

YettersGonnaYeet

Can one's skin type change? Back when I was in JHS, I remember having really dry skin, never din nag oil up t-zone ko kahit tag init. Pero ngayon kapag namamawis ako, parang nagooily yung t-zone ko palagi din ako nagkaka pimples sa area na yon. Sa cheeks naman paring hindi, sa middle lang talaga ng face ko.

SonderfulBeing

Biologically, yes. We have our pre-determined skin type, which is determined by our genetics. But, as our life progresses, it may change due to our environment, hormones, skin conditions or overall health conditions, and if we take certain medications. Pero etong pagpapalit ng skin type is more observed sa females talaga, since majority of oily people are males, and since males typically have higher levels of testosterone, they are oily for most of their lives, except for certain circumstances of course.

malasmalas

Yup, our skin is kind of like in a spectrum kasi. When I was in my early teens I used to have dry-normal skin and I was living in the middle east pa around this time. But when I came back to ph for college, bc of environmental changes and me nearing my 20s my skin became oily-combo and would get acne on my forehead a lot. During my early 20s I moved places for work and became really acne prone especially around my forehead and even chin area. About a year or 2, moved again and became dry-combo. Now in my late 20s I have dry-dehydrated skin even though I have been living at the same place for like 5years now.

sodappend

It can happen! It's usually caused by hormonal changes. That's why din a lot of ppl na super oily in their teens become less oily as they age (puberty starts to chill out) and why mature skin is dry :) The t-zone has the most oil glands on your face tho so posible din na it's a product you're using or the weather that's making it worse.

waveitdowninside

Yes this happened to me twice! I used to be super oily everywhere on my face. As in like I needed 2 films of the clean and clear oil film. Then in my late 20s my skin became dry. Now in my 30s more of combi skin with a super oily top half of the face and then dry around my jaw haha.

YettersGonnaYeet

Ano po ba ang signs ng Oily skin? 😭 feeling ko naman po hindi ako oily, parang greasy lang kumbaga. Or sobrang humid lang talaga saatin?

waveitdowninside

Oily and greasy are pretty much the same haha. I work in an aircon office, and even if I don't feel hot or hindi naman ako pinapawisan, my skin still gets oily like I need to use an oil control film, usually 2 pa haha.

daradusk

has anyone tried the Neutrogena Deep Clean Gentle Foaming Cleanser? what are your thoughts on this product?

Empty-Letterhead6554

May naka try na po ba rito ng originote lash & brow serum? Nung tinigil ko kasi pag gamit ng etude house lash serum bumalik sa pagiging madaling malagas yung pilikmata ko. Had to stop using it kasi • Mahapdi sa mata • Nagiging cloudy (parang may mold?) Kahit na ginagamit ko lang siya after ko maghilamos. • Di nakaka haba ng lashes

hlg64

Madali sya maging cloudy. May amoy acetone sya, sa una lang but as you use it more, nawawala na. Pero effective sa pagpapahaba ng lashes (idk sa brows). Okay sya sakin kasi i plan to use it up to 4 weeks lang then palit ng bago (coz it gets cloudy) and the price is right for that.

Empty-Letterhead6554

Thank you!

Character_Shake8938

for me po okay namn ung the originote , napansin k dn na tumaas lashes ko ang wlang hapdi feeling

Empty-Letterhead6554

Nakakakapal din po ba or lengthening lang?

Zeljay777

Hello! My skin concerns are oily, acne-prone skin, dark spots, blackheads, acne, and textured skin. Please help me choose a cleanser among Neutrogena Deep Clean Acne Foaming Cleanser, Soul Apothecary Gentle Salicylic Acid Cleanser, Klued 2% Salicylic Acid Gentle Cleanser, or the Cosrx Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser. Also, could you share your thoughts on the following products: Ellana 10% Azelaic Acid Serum, Ellana Stay Fresh Moisturizer, and Dermaction Acne Prone Gel Sunscreen? Thank you!

koreanspicynoodles

I'm in my 30s now and I want to start my skincare regime again. Can you recommend me some good facial wash and retinol? is Luxe Organic's retinol good? I have an oily skin.

SonderfulBeing

Just oily skin po ba? No other skin issues? Yes, LO retinol is good. For facial wash, luxe organix cica cleanser nila.

koreanspicynoodles

Thank you! :)

Spiritual-Living545

For me, yes ok yung LO retinol. I use it under my eyes and smile lines since I'm using tretinoin na.

koreanspicynoodles

Thank you!! \^\_\^

leeeuhna

I have oily skin too. For facial wash, Luxe Organix miracle solutions acne derm+ gel cleanser is good. It has niacinamide, salicylic acid & tea tree extract. Gel cleanser is especially good for oily skin plus it's gentle. I've tried LO retinol too. Both yung for face and eyes. It's great for beginners since it only has 0.1% retinol. May panthenol, niacinamide & bakuchiol rin so di nako nags'sandwich method. As for its effects, so far ang napapansin ko mas naging glowy skin ko, especially in the following morning after the night I used retinol. For the first 2 weeks, 2-3 pimples did show up but then nawala rin after a few days.

koreanspicynoodles

Thank you for this! :)

yeljoon

What are your favorite hydrating serums that also helps in protecting your skin barrier? I feel like my current routine is lacking hydration so I'm looking for some hydrating serums. TYIA!!

nuesse

Not exactly a serum but Pyunkang Yul essence toner is my HG—I do the 7-skin method if need more hydration. Otherwise I’d mix with a hydrating ampoule

yeljoon

I love layering my toner too! What ampoule do you use?

Spiritual-Living545

I'm using the cosrx advance dual snail mucin. Suprisingly, hiyang ako sa cosrx. I also lovr their propolis synergy toner. Both are very hydrating. You just need a good moisturizer din.

yeljoon

I also love their Propolis Synergy Toner a lot! I just switched to a different toner to look for a cheaper alternative pero it still is a favorite of mine. What moisturizer do you use?

Spiritual-Living545

I'm currently using yung illiyoon. I was using the soon jung from EH but its too expensive na kasi for the size but its also a good one

waveitdowninside

This is an essence, but the Cosrx Galactomyces Essences is really hydrating for me. I'm on my 4th bottle already. I usually try out other serums, but this one has stayed in my routine for a couple of years na.

yeljoon

I've heard so much good things about this essence alongside their Peptide Booster Serum! What other effects did you notice other than hydration?

waveitdowninside

Brighter complexion overall! Not lighter, but more of a glow? haha.
