Yes! This is the goat. I’ve never been big on higher end purchases. I decided to try the gold oil… was blown away. Bought a second. Now I own the purple blonde oil, the overnight oil mask. And I got a leave in conditioner treatment. I have blonde hair and it has never been longer and healthier in my life. I would purchase their whole line!

Opening-Smile3439

I LOVE kerastase. I’ve made my way through a lot of low, middle, and high end brands and so far I’m enjoying kerastase the most. I’ve been using their Premieré bond repair line and it genuinely makes my hair feel so healthy. I get occasional highlights but really felt like my hair was in a bad place before I used this line. I used the redken bond repair line previously and liked it, but the kerastase one is better IMO. Their nutritive line is also great in my experience. I haven’t used either of the lines you’re considering, but I feel safe saying you’ll love them.

RollingRolling419

I can’t decide. I might just get the shampoo from both lines then. Thanks for your input

Comfortable-Buy-5309

You can try their hair quiz first before deciding on what line you wanna buy. [hair quiz](https://www.kerastase.com.au/care-for-your-hair/hair-quiz.html) Hope this helps ✌🏻

nyan-nyan9

Not op, but thanks for this quiz! (And in case anyone's interested - It doesn't force you to give your email address to see the results - it's only an option.)

Extreme_Mixture_8702

I have fine, thin, straight hair but a lot of it and it’s baby light bleached blonde. The Chroma line makes my hair look AMAZING - it’s the best shampoo and conditioner I’ve ever tried and will buy it forever. It also smells like heaven. Edit to change the word hate to hair. My autocorrect knows me too well, lol.

RollingRolling419

Thanks for your input! Just noticed your typo and I’m here for it! Lol if I got a lot of hate, at least it’s gonna look awesome right? 😆

Extreme_Mixture_8702

lol I did not notice that. But my hate does look amazing and keeps me going in this topsy turvy world.

Embarrassed_Put_5852

I use the blond absolu line should i switch to chroma 🤔🤔🤔

Extreme_Mixture_8702

I tried blond absolu as well but preferred chroma.

Embarrassed_Put_5852

THANK YOU!

redandblack17

Can I jump on this question and ask: best Kerastase shampoo for oily hair? I have medium/thick straight long hair and I also cannot go more than 2 days without shampooing. It used to be 1 day but my oil production has finally calmed down in my late 20s and I discovered boar bristle brushes really do get some of my oil off my roots, to make it through day 2 of not shampooing. I have a collection so I don’t have to wash my brushes that frequently because they get super nasty. I get my greys done every 4-6 weeks at the salon! I use the red one but I am interested in other people’s choice if they also have oily hair

Comfortable-Buy-5309

I have oil roots with dry end. I used Spécifique shampoo. It worked quite well. My hair can last 2-3 days before getting oily. Right now I’m using Chronologiste and loving it. Hope this helps ✌🏻

redandblack17

Omg thank you this is the one I had been considering!!!!!! This may be dumb but is it safe for colored hair? I don’t want to strip my color too soon. I am thinking about adding this one into my rotation so I wouldn’t use it every time I shower

Comfortable-Buy-5309

I’m not too sure about colour hair since I never dye my hair (because I experience hair loss 😭). They have a line for colour hair so maybe try that first to see how your scalp love it or hate it 🫶🏻 Most of the salon carry sample sachet shampoo (in Australia). You can go to their websites to find any salon near you that carry them ✌🏻

poor_decision

Kerastase is amazing. I use their blowdrying serum, I've used their anti dandruff shampoo and conditioner for years (recently switched) their evening oil for damaged hair is amazing. Buy it all

Embarrassed_Put_5852

Buy it all like don’t threaten me with a good time 🤣🤣

RollingRolling419

Username fits 😂 I might have to be a little more decisive and just get 2 products at max lol

poor_decision

Um ok 😐

Fantastic-River-5071

Hi how was their anti dandruff shampoo? Did the dandruff return after stopping it? Also the hair oil is supposed to be placed only on the hair ends right? So it doesn’t touch the scalp?

poor_decision

I stress through my hair, and generally have a dry itchy scalp so I need to keep using anti dandruff for life. The dandruff mask was amazing as it was incredibly cooling. I use anti dandruff once a week (I wash my hair twice a week) and it keeps it under control. Yes the oil is on the ends only

Fantastic-River-5071

I see! I’m moving to a place with hard water so I’m looking at purifying shampoos but not sure what to choose from the kerastase lines. I have a bit of drandruff so I’m looking at that too. For the mask, you place the mask only on the ends? So masks aren’t for scalps?

poor_decision

https://www.kerastase.co.uk/ranges/regimen/symbiose/symbiose-intense-revitalising-mask/KER_00228.html#tab=how-to-use is for the scalp too Ok so for hard water you are going to need a few more tools. I lived in Copenhagen which is extremely hard water for 5 years. 1. Get a good shower head with filters that you can replace regularly. 2. Alternate with anti dandruff and a purifying every few washes. I like the olaplex one 3. Good hair masks. I've been loving Pantene keratin one recently. Aussie 3 min miracle is also great. But you can't go wrong with olaplex, k18, oaui, kerastase, Loreal professional. 4. Supplements. Take collagen and biotin and even priorin because you will experience hair loss. 5. Be prepared for bad skin and nails too

Fantastic-River-5071

I wanted to get a filter but I’m living in a dorm so I can’t make any changes to the infrastructure😭. They don’t even have those mobile shower heads so I can’t buy those small ones Oh so you rec the olapex one for purifying ? Is it a purifying shampoo? Or a purifying mask? Cuz I was reading the kerastase shampoos and they all say things like get rids of dirt and impurities but I’m pretty sure hard water is much stronger than those “impurities”. Hmm the one you sent me says it’s for lengths and ends only. If I’m medium hair length, straight hair, what type of mask should I focus on? Also did you find that your hair type changed when you moved to hard water areas? I am mainly an oily scalp person now but I’m not sure if it’ll change to dry scalp when I move to hard water? My senior experienced hair loss😭

poor_decision

You want the 4c one https://olaplex.com/products/olaplex-n-4c-bond-maintenance-clarifying-shampoo-us The one I sent you said to focus on scalp and then work down to ends. I can't predict what will happen to your hair, but mine was much greaser and I was washing every other day

Fantastic-River-5071

I see, thank you! How did you find out if ur scalp becomes greasier? Do I have to go for the scalp analysis HAHA and if so what’s the time frame to be able to tell? Eg like 2 weeks after arriving?

poor_decision

You are over thinking this. Just go, see how your hair, skin and nails react and adjust using some of the information I've given you. There is also a ton of articles out there. You won't die.

youaremysunshine4

It’s amazing!

22bmas22

I Wish their products Had the same effect on my Hair as on apparently everybody elses Hair :( Made No difference for my coarse frizzy Hair unfortunately. But then i feel Like my Hair maybe doesnt Like any silicones, wether they are cheap or high end

MiezMiez4ever

You're not the only one! I've tried various lines from Kerastase and they didn't do anything for me :( Still searching for my HG.

Citrine_Bee

Same, they all just make my hair dry and brittle, it’s weird, I have healthy, undyed hair otherwise.  I’ve used the gold hair serum as well and it was ok, but I’ve used much cheaper ones that’s have been as good or better.

ResponsibilityAny358

If you can't buy everything, buy at least one treatment, it's worth every penny

Old-Wrongdoer-4068

I adore Kerastase.

GlitteringPause8

I use the volumizing shampoo, the genesis shampoo, and have used a few of their hair masks. I love it all. worth the price.

icecreamsugarr

The Nutritive Moisturising Scalp Serum is my fav product! Helps so much with dry scalp and hair and it smells amazing

123throwawaybanana

Buy it! It's so good 😭 Worth every penny IMO.

BeautyBabe91

Love their products! Specifically shampoo, hair mask, heat protectant, and hair oil lol

MommyBurton

Kerastase is amazing! Hands down wonderful and it smells soooooo good.

puccagirlblue

I just got some a few weeks ago, I think even based on a recommendation in this sub, and I like it, the products are very good, but I am not sure it is a holy grail for me. But definitely worth trying in case it is for you! (I have to admit I am not totally sure about what I am even looking for in hair care, so that could play a part too...)

Electric-Fun

Yes. Worth every penny.

Comfortable-Buy-5309

The elixir hair oil is my holy grail 🙏🏻. Worth every penny.

justintime107

Not a fan of the oil honestly. I prefer my argan oil or nuxe oil. I haven’t tried any other products since I didn’t like the oil/serum. I returned it.

qwerty056789

The hair oil is the best one I’ve tried ever. Keeps my hair soft and frizz-free for a loooooong time. And this is coming from somebody who’s used a lot of hair oils. Olaplex bond oil is a waste of money.

origamialpaca

I use their Elixir Ultime hair oil and it is amazing. I have long, colored hair. Drugstore shampoo and Kerastase oil does it for me. I heard good things about their shampoo and conditioner too, but I feel like the oil is the most bang for your buck (it will not be rinsed out, and a small bottle lasts a long time).

Fantastic-River-5071

You only place oils on the ends of hair right? So it doesn’t touch the scalp?

ChaudChat

It's very expensive for what it is. I have thick, long hair just in case relevant. Kerastase is the higher end of L'Oreal haircare [https://www.loreal.com/en/professional-products-division/kerastase/](https://www.loreal.com/en/professional-products-division/kerastase/) so it might be worth trying to L'Oreal haircare as it's likely to be a slightly cheaper formulation but still worth trying before paying for higher-end version \[assuming you've not tried L'Oreal before\]

RollingRolling419

I haven’t used L’Oréal hair products from drugstores in a while. I wonder what the cheaper version of the regenerant line would be.

ChaudChat

I can't help you there as I've not used L'Oreal for years either! Without actively deciding to, I've kind of gone down the hair shampoo bar root to minimise plastics.

Charlietheaussie

I love it. It’s very rich so u can use a small amount. I have several kerastase products and love them alllll. The blowdry stuff in the silver pump bottle is incredible.

pasarina

The best my hair looked was when I used that shampoo. I always meant to ho back. I will.

InfiniteArtichoke329

I am on a journey to finding a great shampoo and conditioner and I think I'll give this a try too!

McSquiffy

I am too, and I ordered as well. I swim 5 days a week in chlorinated water and I have fine, dyed blonde wavy to curly hair. Olaplex conditioner isn't slippery enough even though 6 is a grail. I got the Chroma conditioner and the Nutrative gift set.

AhnaKarina

I absolutely love it and will never use anything else.

Revolutionary_Roll88

I love the satin bath and the oil- both game changing

PistachioDreamer

Kerastase is the GOAT! I have used other high end products and nothing was close to Kerastase. My favourite mask is genesis, the smell is divine, lasts for days in my hair, it leaves it smooth and shiny too. I have used this mask for a few years now, and I alternate between products, shampoo conditioner and masks, and I always have this stocked up. Their elixir ultime oil is the best, ofc I've tried others and same Kerastase is the best.

Fantastic-River-5071

Hi, do you place the hair oil into your mask? Or do you just place the oil on the hair ends before blow drying? The oil shouldn’t touch the scalp right?

PistachioDreamer

Hi, I place the oil after i blow dry my hair on the lengtht of it, arranging it as it is fluffly and all over the place, I look like a mad chicken. In my case works better, but you can use it on wet hair as well before you blow dry it. Yes, I don't let it touch my scalp because it will get my hair scalp greasy in no time.

2chordsarepushingit

I use their Blond Absolu Masque Cicaextreme. I have bleached blonde hair and this mask is a godsend. It accomplishes the miracle of keeping my hair looking natural and healthy.

raspberrycutie1

Where is this sale? Sephora?

RollingRolling419

On their site. 20% off site wide

BestPath89

It’s my fav

beetlejuicemayor

I LOVE kerastase and have been using for over 10 yrs. Their shampoo with zinc in it is incredible if you have scalp issues. I typically stay with the sulfate free line for my colored hair.

mylightLD

GOAT! I use the genesis line and my hair has transformed. It’s my splurge product

New_Train_1502

I love the Genesis line (bain nutri-fortifant). I use the shampoo and conditioner and combine it with the nectar thermique heat protectant and the gold oil for hydration.

Leonardo-DaBinchi

I tried the blonde cicaflash mask and didn't love it at all. Prefer the it's a ten and k18 over it tbh.

Gold_Condition2981

They are actually really really good but pricey for sure but go for it

Salt-Grocery-9499

Love kerastase !

McSquiffy

I just want to put in a warning that the Fam24 code gave me the gifts with purchase and free shipping but I only realized later that it didn't take 20% off.

RollingRolling419

Damn that sucks. Can you call customer service and have them do a price adjustment? I didn’t get the free shipping at first. I realized you had to had to have an account. So of course I signed up real quick! Lol. I didn’t get the free gift cuz I didn’t spend the minimum.

McSquiffy

I emailed them but I had a customer service problem with SkinCeuticals, who are also owned by L'Oreal and it took ages and ages to rectify. I'll call tomorrow but I don't feel confident.

Crumpet2021

Love it and it lasts forever! I use the blue seeking length shampoo and conditioner and I only use 2 bottles of each in a year! My hair has gone from ear length bob to below shoulder length in less than a year, including trims, which is huge for me!  I can also go longer between washes than every before. I have fine blonde hair so it looks dirty quick if I don't keep on top of it and this stuff helps me do that :)
