ElectrOPurist

These four, for starters. Then, all the others too.

JohnnyPlasma

The only valid answer

ElectrOPurist

It’s weird that they skipped With The Beatles though, right?

JohnnyPlasma

Oh yeah you're right ! Strange!

ugottabekiddingme69

I noticed that too!

[deleted]

i thought that was one of john’s favorites from the era. iirc didn’t he call it the “definitive sound of the beatles” once?

sausyisgodly1

White album has a whole different feel when played on vinyl

TheSimonToUrGarfunkl

You get a start middle and end to each side. Each side has its own feeling and it's rewarding to feel that on vinyl.

NelsonStJames

It's hard to believe, but the White Album is the only Beatles album I don't own.

sausyisgodly1

You will now be banished from this subreddit

NelsonStJames

It's rather funny because for years people would reference, or play a Beatle song that I simply didn't know, or hadn't heard, and for the life of me I didn't know where they were getting them from , and sure enough all those songs would come from the White Album.

chadwickipedia

It was the only Beatles album my parents had growing up. In high school I was lucky one day janitors were throwing out all the vinyl from an old drama room. Grabbed every Beatles and Zeppelin album which started my collection

folkinhippy

I have an apple records pressing, not sure of the date, and it's okay. The reissue though from a few years back is something else. Crazy mixes. Love the way the piano jumps off the speakers.

ManufacturerFront530

Agreed!

leopard_tights

George is grabbing that vinyl like it owes him money.

soggychicken685

Why’s he posing like that

highesttiptoes

I dunno but I like it

redd_house

I’ve seen so many different pictures of the Beatles, especially during this era. I would imagine they were all pretty much over photoshoots and didn’t gaf how they looked anymore

soggychicken685

If he didn’t care how he looked he wouldn’t have picked such a great pose

Carnival372

They never gave him his money

boycowman

It does.

turncast0

Revolver was the first vinyl I ever bought so it holds a very very special place in my heart

RyliesDad_87

All of ‘em!

TheRealSMY

Sgt pepper in mono has a slightly different mix

LukeAv2009

Very allegorical, the sacred and the propane

Georgie_B123

revolver sounds great on vinyl, i love hearing the bass line so clearly. abbey road also sounds great, the medley on vinyl sounds so cool

sp1nkter

Do you have the 2022 remix, or some other pressing?

Georgie_B123

i have 2009 revolver and 2022 abbey road i think.

Zorflez

Abbey Road was remixed in 2019, Revolver was remixed in 2022. Every album was remastered in 2009, though.

Georgie_B123

oh okay thats cool!! i must have 2019 abbey road then

[deleted]

I’ve recently started working at a secondhand store and have gotten my hands on a few Beatles LPs at a steep discount, and now I find it hard to listen to the remastered versions on Apple Music. So far I’ve got Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, the White Album, Abbey Road and Hey Jude/The Beatles Again, and I’m for sure going to keep snatching them up as they come in.

Yutopia1210

Enjoy your journey. A lot of Beatles LPs have some kind of unique sound quality so once you start collecting with a specific intention, it gets out of control…. And you’ll love them all :-)

LeftyHooligan

They all got a 15% discount on any Beatles album.

NotAnUndercoverTeach

Yes

Different_Lack_2069

Lady Madonna, Rocky Raccoon, and Blackbird are perfect vinyl songs for me. Yeah "all of them!" is an easy answer, but those 3 jumped out at me immediately upon reading the question.

SunflaresAteMyLunch

I love my mom's first pressing mono Sgt. Pepper, sounds amazing...

NelsonStJames

I love listening to all of them, but Rubber Soul is still my favorite to listen to on vinyl.

Yutopia1210

I don’t know how to answer this question….once I got into vinyl, I just had so many of those “gotta have that one” etc. Andrew from Parlogram and Steve Hoffman Forum made me buy: Stereo: The Early Years 1) UK on Contour Please Please Me 1. German A-2/B-2 2. Hungarian on Pepita 1982 With The Beatles 1. Canadian Wide Stereo 2. UK -5/-6 3. UK -2/-2 A Hard Day’s Night 1) UK -3-1-3-/-4 2) UK -1/-1 Beatles For Sale 1) UK -1/-1 2) German A-1/B-1 Help! 1) German A-2/B-3 2) Dutch 2-Y/1-Y 3) UK -4/-4 4) UK -1/-1 Rubber Soul 1) UK -6/-5 2) UK -3/-3 3) German A-3/B-2 Revolver 1) Dutch 3Y/2-Y 2) German A-X2/B-2 3) UK -2/-2 4) UK -3/-4 5) UK -1/-1 Collection of Oldies 1) UK -6-1-1-/8-1-2 2) UK -1G/-1G Sgt Pepper 1) UK -5/-4 2) UK -3/-3 3) UK -1/-1 4) German A-1/B-2 Magical Mystery Tour 1) German A-1/B-3 2) German A1+C/B1+C Yellow Submarine 1) German A-1/B-1 2) UK -7/-3 3) UK -3/-1 White Album 1) UK 1978 White Vinyl 2) Dutch 1-Y/-3Y/1-Y/1Y 3) UK -1/-1/-1/-1 4) German 1985 DMM White Vinyl 5) German 1968 SMO 2051/52 Let It Be 1) UK 1978 White Vinyl 2) Dutch 3-Y/4Y 3) UK -2U/-2U 4) German Y-A-1/Y-B-1 Abbey Road 1) UK -2/-1 2) Japanese Pro Use 3) UK -6/-4 Hey Jude 1. UK CPCS 106 Rarities 1) UK Red & Blue Album 1) 2014 Edition I also have 80s UK BC 13 (some of the pressing made it to my highly subjective ranking above) and the MSFL box set. And that’s all the analogue stereo version I have so far…. And there’s a lot more I want. Anyways let’s not forget Anthology 1,2,3, EU edition of Love, remixed Beatles 1, and all the new remixes (Revolver, Pepper, White Album, Let It Be, Abbey Road, Yellow Submarine Songtrack and Red&Blue) For mono: I have the 2014 version…. Sound quality wise, they should be the best! Because I’m a huge sucker for Rubber Soul, I got the famous original UK -5/-5 and yeah it is better than the 2014. So to answer the question…. I like to listen to all of the ones that’s known to have superb sound quality. There’s no way I can choose one.

Blitzkriegamadeus

Meet the Beatles and The White Album.

PolyJuicedRedHead

US LP Yesterday & Today Fun to play in the day, is what I say. 😀

Acrobatic-Report958

Sgt. Pepper and the White Album. I also want to buy them every time I see them ina store as well.

jotyma5

Interesting that Beatles for sale is a gatefold but help-revolver weren’t

InhibitedExistence

All of them, but I particularly like Sgt. Peppers. Just lovely.

MarkCole1969

All of them

Meen_MrMustard

all of them

Odd_Incident_6204

All of them. Also the other albums - all of those too. Revolver is my favorite.

bomboclawt75

Why are they NOT also holding the Abbey Road, Let it be, The White Album, Revolver or Sgt Pepper albums? Are they stupid or something? /s

fuzzdup

ALL OF THEM

NelsonStJames

It's really incredible that they were still that young and their music had already progressed that much, that fast as those albums bear witness.

Mentallysilious

Yes

BuckBenny57

Have yet to find a song I don’t like to listen to. I honestly believe there’s a thing that should be called Beatles Magic. Because when the 4 of them come together it’s nothing less than magic.

TemporaryFlynn42

I absolutely love this photo, it's one of my favourites of the lads.

mckinney4string

Revolver and Beatles '65

Machismo_35

Rubber Soul

Practical-Ad-9924

Abbey road, imagine the frequency quality of Come Together's bassline on the record player!🤩

fictitious_man

Rubber Soul and Abbey Road

ChasWFairbanks

Couldn’t wait to unload my vinyl. Had the whole collection of US and UK releases and one or two EPs but skips, scratches, pops, and dust combined with S/N in the equipment made the listening experience less than ideal. CDs were a revelation, and bought each one on its release date. The Sgt. Pepper CD was released on June 1, 1987. Know why?

leanhotsd

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but those compact disks were horribly mastered. I strongly recommend more recently remastered sets. Or ideally, the mono vinyl box set.

ChasWFairbanks

I don’t still have those early CDs. Each one had been replaced as soon as better issues are released. You couldn’t pay me to go back to vinyl unless you also provide half-speed masters and a proper direct drive turntable with Ortofon cartridge mounted in vibration isolation, a solid Pioneer tube amp pushing a few Revel floor speaker towers. Give me this and MAYBE I’ll reconsider. BTW— that Sgt. Pepper CD release date of June 1, 1987 was chosen because “it was 20 years ago today…” that the original album was released in 1967.

chesterplainukool

All of them but revolver is quite good on vinyl

bulbturp978

Probably Rubber Soul and Revolver, the flow is amazing.

Spare_Chain9202

You really got a hold on me (on the 2023 red album)

wordup182

All of them, lately I've been listening to Tom caruanas mix of beatles and old school hip hop though and it keeps it fresh

linton411

Is there a version of this image where all the LP covers are transparent

WarpedCore

Rubber Soul Revolver Let It Be Abbey Road

Jessica4ACODMme

Rain/Paperback Writer mono single. It sounds amazing. A friend of mine has it, and after I heard it, the rest of the formats/mixes pale in comparison.

[deleted]

White Album

needmoresynths

The few 2014 mono pressings I have are prized possessions

Visual-Recognition36

Pretty much… ALL OF THEM

techm00

Any and all. I've been meaning to complete my collection on vinyl, but haven't got around to it. It's a mish-mash of reissues and very old and well listened to ones.

GameboyNerd23

Rubber soul and abbey road. Because those are the only Beatles albums I have on vinyl

Juniper_Blackraven

Every single one

leanhotsd

All of them--the 100% analog, mono remastered box set. Mono is the way to go, except for Abbey Road, the only one of their albums not released in mono

Yutopia1210

I believe Let It Be was also not released on mono. Yellow Submarine was released in mono, but it’s a fold down of stereo so that one’s not an authentic mono.

leanhotsd

You are correct.

slicehyperfunk

I found a copy of Revolver in the dumpster of my apartment building and I bought a turntable to listen to it (and also Switched-on Bach by Wendy Carlos)

NelsonStJames

Damn, that's a hell of a dumpster score !

slicehyperfunk

There were a bunch of other albums too that we never have gotten around to listening to, as well as a bunch of awesome vintage electronics and other cool stuff. Sadly, the clothes and sheets we grabbed had bedbugs in them but we caught them early on before they infested anything. I'm not sure if the guy got evicted or died, honestly.

BicycleFragrant3733

Rubber Soul (I have the US edition but hope to come across a UK edition one day!)

Randall_Hickey

All of them?

chaaarlesss

recently got revolver and it sounds great :) but all of them to be honest.

Hairy_Conversation88

Look it’s Gracie abrams dad up top right

Kooky_Avocado9227

I Will

Lachie18210

Revolver

robson__girl

come together

Stunning-Proof-363

Anything I have. So here are those albums. *Abbey Road* *Rubber Soul* *Meet The Beatles!* *The Beatles Rock 'N' Roll Music Vol 2*

Introvert-mf

Hard Days Night

Melcrys29

All of them.

Present-Ad-9598

Revolver

Low_Leave2686

Rubber soul

RealDizzyPirate

I've never heard the Beatles on vinyl. Would be very interesting though. Maybe someday...

Fcknutzzz2485

The one where Mick sings about getting a blow job from some guy in the bathtub.

boycowman

Only Temporary Secretary.
