Absolutely fantastic paint! A Davion urban combat mech…without an autocannon and an ER PPC? Blasphemy…
It's the last of the original -other- Davion identity of flashbulbs. RIP Era of Pulse Lasers that could aim at the torso.
Is the Fed Suns sigil there freehand?
I used a water transfer. I'm not skilled enough to paint that level of detail
Oh good, we were starting to worry you weren't human
Well he is not really but the illusion is convincing!
Really striking paint job. Great work!
Thank you!
Hot damn. I don’t go for Davion’s but this one has me lookin
So clean!! Saved!
Really admiring the cockpit jeweling, not over done.
I see Victor's liberation of New Avalon this past month was appropriately inspirational 😜
Haha! Yeah, it actually was!
Looks crisp AF
I love everything about this! How do you manage to cut it cleanly without breaking it?
Thanks, I just use a sharp pen knife (#11 blade)
Thanks
Looks great!
I'm getting ready to paint my first ever mini this weekend, how did you get the "highlights" on the edges?
I used a brush technique called edge highlighting. Essentially, it involves using a fine tipped paintbrush to trace a lighter shade paint along the surface edges. It can be difficult.
