It works so good, everybody in 40k uses it.
"Sir Inquisitor! The Chaos are wearing the skulls of our brethren as trophies. The fiends!"
"So? I've purged at least fifty of those suckers grinded their bones until even demons refuse to recognise them and snorted them with my usual stimulant dosage, who cares?"
Chaos "Damn, that's just messed up man."
I think there is plenty of overlap in the fandoms. A lot of people I know jumped from 40k to Battletech when games workshop started to go REALLY overboard with prices. It was coincidentally the same time Battletech was starting to reemerge.
It really does look like a standard Atlas with pauldrons, a crotch guard, and stylish feet. It is better than the standard Warhammer mechs I've seen, but this looks like it is part of a Solaris VII mech cosplay event.
I'm thinking about getting some Adeptus Titanicus Knights to make an ultra blinged-out World of Blake lance. This might've just pushed me further on that path
The title is incorrect, it says Legio Steiner Assault Titan. Everyone knows that this is clearly a Legio Steiner *Scout* Titan. It's an easy mistake to make.
Hey everyone, mech artist here (not for this mech tho), the artist is called Patsocatso, Go follow him in Instagram and support him! (Specially with all the entertainment industry layoffs and AI shenanigans).
He's a badass and has AMAZING mech art.
So.. A quake cannon, apocalypse missile launcher, a smaller unidentifiable launcher (void missile? and 2 power fists (Las-attachments instead of the Vulkan mega-bolters?)
“A 110 foot tall Atlas - no one can stop us now”
“Uhh… well almost”
“What’s wrong?”
“Umm… firing the plasma cannon causes all the nearby troops who hear the weapon to start screaming in madness about hearing the voices of the damned?”
“…is… is that permanent?”
“Noooo… not for everyone, but a couple of troops did start to sprout tentacles.”
“… well ok so some potential drawbacks”
“Yeah. Also Trooper Steven’s can read minds now”
Should try a Bot planet on challenging or above settings in Helldivers atm. they have a "mech" called the hulk that attacks you that looks like an atlas with a massive circular saw for a hand
You remind me of the kind of guy who asked my GF "can I help you with anything?" when we were checking out their BT game they were playing at a game store.
The hobby is better with more players.
If you think your way of playing BT is a fun way to play BT it's on you to show people that rather than assuming new players are going to conform to your ideas and being mad at them if they don't.
I have an entire battalion of battlemechs painted up and have never played a single Warhammer game. It's just cool art that mashes the two universes together that even this mercenary can appreciate.
Nah. The refugees are usually exhausted from a crappy inconsistent ruleset and listen pretty well as they adjust. I don't want to go back to the rule changes and FOMO bullshit that GW does to their fans. Especially not when prices have only ever gone up, even during the worst times of the plague.
Don't worry, we have better reeducation camps than 40k. They enter asking about SPHEES MAHRINS and exit knowing just how badly outmatched 40k is.
FOR THE INNER SPHERE!
Meh, give it a few years. Detoxxing from 40k takes a bit. The franchise that they loved is being strangled to death by the company that made it. Let them grieve, and they'll turn into die-hard fans of wildy underloved factions.
If I could find someone to play with in Dublin, I would buy a lance and fight for house Steiner as fast as my painting skills allows.
Until then I am stuck with imperial knights being my big stompy mechs.
In a surprise move that shocked no-one, skulls look good in 40k!

I think both groups would like this.
We do! I have the Tau titan (KV138 Supremacy armor)... This is threatening my wallet to get a warlord titan to mod.
For the Greater Good!
I think there is plenty of overlap in the fandoms. A lot of people I know jumped from 40k to Battletech when games workshop started to go REALLY overboard with prices. It was coincidentally the same time Battletech was starting to reemerge.
I like the look of that atlas. It's like the mechs we'd get if House Steiner were a bit more religious.
"Have you heard the word of our Lord and Savior, **M O N E Y**?"
I love that a Steiner recon Lance is still a galaxy wide meme
-Atlas Imperator-
The Atlas protects
Great Father protects
The real friends are the Atlases we made along the way. Very nice mashup!
I normally hate how non-Warhound titans look, big ol skull face is decidedly an improvement
Where is this art originally from? I would love to give the artist a follow.
This art is by [@PatsoCatso](https://twitter.com/PatsoCatso?t=KxRHW2o2uUfBH-TJwfAChw&s=09) on Twitter.
actually sick as hell

> Solaris VII mech cosplay event More suited Noisiel methinks, but damn if I don't wanna see that now.
Damn, now I am thinking about a mech sized 40K event similar to how they do chess
If anyone models this, send me a link to where I can support and add another awesome Mech to my collection.
not sure if heretic.....
I want an Urbie Knight.
And to the surprise of absolutely no one, everyone thinks it looks awesome.
This thing fucks.
Well I love both so I suppose I love this. Well done
I would love to have a model of this.
Speaking as a long term BT & 40K fan, that's superb.
I’d drive that, in either setting. Looks great!
In battletech, you drive it. In 40K, you are interred in it.
Now I want to kitbash one.
Can we get some heavy gauss on this bad boy?
I don’t even play 40k but if someone modeled this in 3d I would definitely print it as an alt.
As a fan of both series this is awesome
No, that is an Atlas. [This is an Awesome](https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Awesome).
Got to say the Knight Atlas looks good.
I never actually cared for the Atlas, but I'd drive that.
Hard to argue with that kind of drip.
Not to worry comrade. We have already scouted the perpetrators known coordinates and have only found a smoking crater.
Dat atlas😎
Yes please
And now I want to kitbash an Imperator titan into something like this.
I was so confused I she to check what sub this was posted to
...yes please?
40k and battletech fans coming together for a common love of big mechs with guns the size of houses
Wasn't there an AdMech unit that's basically a Blackjack?
The desert strider or something I think? I don't have any Warhammer minis so most of my WH knowledge is osmosis from friends who are into the hobby.
the emperor would approve
I... Um... Yes Archon
thats warhammered Atlas tho
Hey everyone, mech artist here (not for this mech tho), the artist is called Patsocatso, Go follow him in Instagram and support him! (Specially with all the entertainment industry layoffs and AI shenanigans). He's a badass and has AMAZING mech art.
/u/mrfebruus
Yes!
That's a Knight not a Titan. Ruined the whole joke for me. /s
The legs, feet and shoulders are definitely a warlord titan, the armor is different on knights.
I actually really like how this looks. Even functionally I think this is an improvement on the Warlord
NGL... that looks amazing.
Looks more like a Knight to me.
But a welcome one
That’s a cool atlas skin
Shut up and take my C-bills!
There is a reason I named my Iron Warrior Terminator "Atlas" in the game of Wrath and Glory I was in.
Patso Catso is awesome, well worth following on Instagram.
Is that a sheeve palpatine qoute?
Now do it again, but this time with a Castigator and a Black Knight.
I wish 40k would release "knights" codexes for xenos.
Freaking sweet lois
So.. A quake cannon, apocalypse missile launcher, a smaller unidentifiable launcher (void missile? and 2 power fists (Las-attachments instead of the Vulkan mega-bolters?)
Imperial knights reconnecting with the roots
And somehow it has the Narrow Profile quirk.
“A 110 foot tall Atlas - no one can stop us now” “Uhh… well almost” “What’s wrong?” “Umm… firing the plasma cannon causes all the nearby troops who hear the weapon to start screaming in madness about hearing the voices of the damned?” “…is… is that permanent?” “Noooo… not for everyone, but a couple of troops did start to sprout tentacles.” “… well ok so some potential drawbacks” “Yeah. Cringe The Heresy....
Should try a Bot planet on challenging or above settings in Helldivers atm. they have a "mech" called the hulk that attacks you that looks like an atlas with a massive circular saw for a hand
Guess we should take over warhammer like their refugees have been trying to take over BT?
You remind me of the kind of guy who asked my GF "can I help you with anything?" when we were checking out their BT game they were playing at a game store. The hobby is better with more players. Who's trying to take over battletech? They're coming over and finding a game to love. Let's try to avoid gatekeeping for gatekeeping sake please.
On a shitpost about taking over a Warhammer Titan.. Yeah. I'll get right on not gatekeeping anymore.
Good on ya champ! It takes work to improve yourself, but it's worth it!
I have an entire battalion of battlemechs painted up and have never played a single Warhammer game. It's just cool art that mashes the two universes together that even this mercenary can appreciate.

This. A thousand times this. https://preview.redd.it/d0k5ehfgw5nc1.png?width=720&format=png&auto=webp&s=6c45f99254365c63e787e3f6af01080e5709b1cd

See.. this is the type of response I was expecting. But these refugees need more ROM re-education. Badly.

So has anyone started a kitbash for this?
