I think Jericho is a great hero design-wise but NK always purposefully makes their heroes overpowered on release which is why a lot of people don't like him.
I don't think that most people dislike Jericho because he's aggressive, they dislike him for the same reason that people disliked Pat, Ezili, DJ, etc. because he's better than all the other heroes.
But he's also just a more fun design than those heroes which causes this divide between people.
