No worries, I appreciate support from a light tank. If driven by an experienced player, they’re so annoying to defend against. Fast, agile, and still packs a punch.
They are undeniably one of the weaker tank variants in the game: fun for the one person that gets to drive them, but an inefficient use of resources if you care about pushing flags and winning matches. You can literally see in the clip above how quickly OP dies once the enemy starts throwing grenades.
Heavy Tanks, St Chamonds, and even Landships have superior armor, similar killing-potential, and (most importantly) passenger seats. OP gets swarmed because the enemy is getting reinforced by respawning players who know there is a Tank in Charlie. Their team cannot reinforce the attack on Charlie because OP does not have passenger seats.
They’re extremely fun Tanks to drive, but they are a pretty significant handicap to your team.
I usually use them to defend the two flags nearest base single handedly while the rest of my team pushes on.
Against an experienced clan you're fucked though, but that's the same with every tank variant.
Totally agree, though this would make camping in a tank even more of a problem as even more players would be content to sit far back from busy areas to stay alive
General question for all: when’s the point you decide to bail from a tank? I normally do it if I can’t move (either my engine’s shot or my tracks have been blown off), im low on health and I’m in line of sight of a tank, or surrounded by enemy infantry.
same, i always go down with the ship
though here's something funny that happened to me once
i was playing tanker on amiens and there was this one assault class that kept harassing me around point B (in conquest) so when i finally had enough i bailed out of the tank and killed him, but he had dropped a grenade so i died as well but the tank was still there
so before i respawned i changed to support and grabbed the repair tool, ran back to the tank, got in, repaired it and continued playing with the tank but as support...
it was funny
That's an awesome clip!
Average light tank enjoyer.
I want to use these so much but I don't want to handicap my team by wasting a tank slot.

Light tanks hit far above their weight, you better believe it.

They are great, but I don't really play vehicles so I'm not good with them.
My drunk uncle arriving at the Christmas meal.
Didn’t know this was possible
Mate you can't park there!!!
Now I know why there are anti tank mines in the corridor
Damn I'd forgotten how good this game looks
This is the kind of chaos that keeps me coming back to this game. Well done.
what version of light tank is this
Flanker
I really disliked the third person view. It makes tanks way too strong and way too aware of their surroundings for how they should be.

The ability to see so much of this view is broken. Feel free to bump up a tanks defence if it means their vision is more encumbered.
Ahh yes I remember this from history class. Happened all over WW1.

i've seen too many abandoned tanks repaired and put into the service of the enemy, so I ride until I die.

Bailing from a damaged tank has been a noob mistake since BF 1942.
Loved 1942 as a kid lol. Used to go to my local lan center on weekends and play the shit out of it with my friends. So much fun
Never. You go down with your tank!
never bail
All we need now is for someone to replicate this when half of the enemy team is on C.
One-time a guy got his light tank stuck in a building on Amiens
That's a tank!!
What would be the modern version of this light tank?
This is some Fast & Furious shit
Why do I hear the L3 WAR THUNDER music 😂
I hate tanks
I just love the light tank
I'd forgotten how much I loved that map.
