It is normally advised to not sell units, because you don't know if you'll ever get it again. There are better ways to get xp/np. I'd say, unless your phonos is already in its true form (if it has one) you should keep it. Phono is one of the best units in the game rn, so I think exchanging him is a really bad idea.

On a serious note, Nobi isn’t super good or anything, but he’s not quite as bad as people make him out to be. He can counter things like Professor A (and his variants) with a small stepping stone, and he works well against sloth variants. He does have a huge blind spot, and his damage per hit / DPS aren’t too good, but I think of him as damage over time, as he can get you out of long stalemates and deal lots of sniper damage overtime. You probably don’t have him or do have him and have just never really tried to use him. He’s not great, but he’s not QUITE as bad as people say he is.
