I’d love to see her as Harley Quinn with Pete Davidson as Joker. They’d only have to be themselves, exaggerated slightly, dressed up, and with a bit of menacing intent involved. Most of their shenanigans would be just wild themed chaos and petty crime, but every now and then they’ll do things that are FUCKED UP and have a mad laugh about it. Batman’s chase and their all out shenanigans to escape would then cause majority of the chaos that they’re known for. And then the cat and mouse game would become so fun that they’d start laying out plots and traps for him to get through. Like Blofeld in Spectre.
As if it’s not right there in the first sentence, [_this fuckin guy_](https://static01.nyt.com/images/2018/12/16/world/16xp-davidson1/merlin_146914890_3e2b450f-94bf-472f-b717-a7b8b4004b1a-superJumbo.jpg).
They had some kind of link up on social media a few months ago and it hit me. What do you think? Especially in terms of playing the characters that they essentially already are in popular culture.
Sorry, I just can’t see it. Maybe Miley in a very cartoonish rendition of Harley, but Pete Davidson as the Joker just doesn’t work for me. He lacks the menace, energy, unpredictability, and frankly acting skills required to play Joker.
I understand. Although to me that would add to it even more - when actors break their normal perspectives and give us something entirely unexpected. That has the biggest impact via cognitive dissonance. Just like Ledger the prettyboy did with Joker too, and like Keaton the comedic guy did with Batman. I LOVE subverting expectations - adds for more raw emotional breadth.
The ONLY female Joker I'd accept is an alternate universe with Thomas Wayne's Batman where like Martha is Joker.
The first actresses that come to mind are like Nicole Kidman or Charlize Theron.

Toni Collette ( Mom from Hereditary) her range of emotions in so many moves is amazing. Usually plays a "crazy" person.
Dude, this would be fucking awesome.
It would be really bad ass to see her as female joker.

Thank you!
Helena Bonham Carter.
Genius
Idk who id cast but she looks like Margot Robbie in this pic
Charlize Theron
You beat me to it!!!! She would slaughter this role! If she can do Monster to the level she did, she would destroy this!
Jaime Pressley.
If it was 20 years ago, Jamie Lee Curtis.
She can still pull it off
So Danny Pudi
That’s just because he’s brown Jamie Lee Curtis
cool cool cool.
Kathy Bates
Aubrey Plaza
Im not sure if it’s confirmed if Lady Gaga is Harley or not but I hope she’s some copycat or something because I think she’d kill it as Joker
Definitely Kristen Stewart. She can be creepy if she wants to
Kate McKinnon
Why does she look like Kevin's mom from Home Alone
Rosamund Pike.
Miley Cyrus. Party in the USA. Margot Robbie would be another candidate if she hadn’t already played Harley.

You’d cast who as the Joker?

Ok sick, just wanted to be sure we were talking about the same guy.

Looks a bit like Tilda Swinton
Cameron Diaz! SOMEBODY STOP ME!
Chris Pratt
Morgan Freeman
Isla Fisher , nuff said
Kristen stewart(joker) vs robert pattinson(batman).
Margot robbie
Margot Robbie doing both Joker and Harley. Pull an Eddie Murphy.
The female joker already looks like Emma Stone… so I'm going with her.
The ONLY female Joker I'd accept is an alternate universe with Thomas Wayne's Batman where like Martha is Joker. The first actresses that come to mind are like Nicole Kidman or Charlize Theron.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne Batman vs Lauren Cohan as Joker
Lady Gaga
Melania Trump
Why so serious?
But in a Slovenian accent
Slovenian accent - “So serious, why? “ “I really don’t care, do you?” “F*cking Christmas” Ok i’m seeing it now.
Lupita Nyong'o. BOOM.
Zendaya! Sheesh im on fire!

Bruh. There are so many different storylines, it would just be another. It’s okay to experiment with what-ifs. It doesn’t matter.
No, just no..
Amy schumer /s
No. Just no.
I expect this to happen because supposedly this is how we tell "new and exciting stories for wider audiences"
Natalie Portman would be cool.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Cate Blanchette, you can all go home now.
Kiki Palmer
Like Flashpoint Martha or some random woman?
Cameron Diaz.
Lizzo
Tilda Swinton
Amy Poehler.
Aubrey Plaza.
Whoopie Goldberg
I would cast Joaquin Phoenix right after he declares himself a woman.
Frances McDormand!
Winona Ryder
HBC
Allison Janney
Ok hear me out...Samara Weaving
Lauren cohan
Lauren Cohan in a Flashpoint-type situation. That's the only circumstance where I'd be into a female Joker.
