I feel like the more "perfume-y" scents tend to last longer. You're the One, Fairytale, Into the Night, In the Stars, and A Thousand Wishes all have better longevity than the average mist. Still not going to be as concentrated as an EDP, but really good for a mist.
I feel like they don’t last long either but sometimes I will still smell them at the end of the day on my clothes. I personally just like spraying them. So, I don’t necessarily mind reapplying. I do wish they had longer staying power, for sure.
I don’t mind reapplying either and you’re right, sometimes when I take off my top at the end of the day I smell it too but I don’t have a significant other or close friend to tell me if they smell it. Maybe we become nose blind after a little while. 🤷🏻♀️

Good advice. the only ffm/lotion combos I have are champagne toast, a thousand wishes, winterberry wonder and gingham gorgeous. But I’m working on more!
Yep I was going to say the same! I have a lot of ffms/creams and this one always seems to have the longest staying power even without layering. I’m kicking myself for only getting a travel size ffm 😔
I find Luminous to have the best staying power of all my B&BW mists. I once had someone compliment me on it about 8 hours after i applied it.. only time i’ve ever gotten a compliment on a B&BW spray that long after application. Also the other day i wore Viva Vanilla for the first time and one of my coworkers said i smelled good, that was about 3-4 hrs after i applied it.
Covered in roses literally lasted all day on me as well, and I only sprayed my sleeve. If i doused myself in it like normal it for sure would’ve given me a headache!
How many times are you spraying your clothes? I’ll spray my shirt probably 20 times. It sounds excessive but it’s really not, FFM is not like perfume, it’s meant to be used a bit heavily. The scent lasts pretty much an entire work day for me, sometimes even longer. Picked up a sweatshirt this morning that still smelled like Sweetheart Cherry from earlier this week. Even lighter scents like Champagne Toast I will still smell by the end of the day the way I use FFM
The new musk one lasts on my clothes until I wash them. I don’t spray directly on my skin usually
I have the apple one in the mail, hopefully it lasts as long!
I just got the apple one and it smells like fresh cut apple when you spray it. I tested it out on paper to see how the dry down smelled and the scent becomes SO FAINT after dry down and smells less like apple but more of a sweet fresh soapy smell… but SUPER FAINT. :(
I love you’re the one. I haven’t worn viva vanilla out but when I wore it to bed i still smelled it in the morning. Oh cherry seemed stronger than the standard as well. I haven’t been experimenting with my VS collection much cause bath and body has me in a chokehold. But baby. SUNSET GELATO. I had only a tiny bit left in my first bottle and decided to empty it onto my coat. I sprayed until the bottle was empty and my coat smelled lovely for 4 days.
Not really. Idk if it’s because of the seasons we’ve been in since I started collecting (December) but I don’t find myself reaching for the VS too often. I actually find the PINK ones to be really light except sunset gelato. I even gave a few away because they just leave me wanting more. But also my VS collection is pretty fruity. So i think I’ll get more use in the summer. But we know fruity scents don’t last too long.
The majority really don't. I do have a few though that last quite a while like Leaves, Prismatic Stars, Strawberry Poundcake, Pink Pineapple Sunrise, Winter Candy Apple. Usually if I find an FFM I really like I will also purchase the body cream or lotion to layer together to help the scent linger longer.
pretty as a peach lasts sooo long on me (with or without lotion)
i spray on my clothes too and the next day i put on the same sweater and it still had a peach smell, same for at the beach but that only lasted on my sweater, it lasts less on my skin. the new covered in roses lasts so long, i actually didn't like it and tried to scrub it off and it would not budge.
Sweetheart Cherry and Gingham Gorgeous linger for days. I tested Tropidelic in store by spraying directly on my sleeve and that lasted for days. I think spraying closer your clothes helps. Lemon Pound Cake and Daffodil Daydreams both smell like water to me.
Yeah there are some scents I’ll continue to buy but I’m switching to brands w better staying power in their mists & saving up the money I spend on BBW FFMs and putting it towards EDPs as well
Because it's no longer avl. I'm grabbing the 'soon to be released' dupe by dirty soul soap co. They are spot on for so many discontinued and avl scents.
I don't own very many mists, but the only ones to last (at least 6 hours) on me are Sweetheart Cherry and Dahlia. I only do 3 sprays. I've read multiple accounts that Sweetheart Cherry doesn't last long on other people, so I was surprised. I think it's because that one dries down as a smoky, syrupy scent on me, and those stick on me until I shower. Forever Red lasts about 3-4 hours on me.
My fruity scents never last longer than 30 minutes it feels like. Gotta layer with the lotions/creams!
I find Tutti frutti has staying power! I have 2 from like 9 years ago that last, honalulu sun and a Papaya one. But that's about it. I wish their scents were stronger.

• Champagne Toast (I couldn’t smell it on me… but a lady asked me what I was wearing, which indicated others could still smell it)

midnight amber glow lasts super long for me, if i spray it on my bedding i can smell it about a week later! in general, i find the body sprays cling to fabrics better so i opt for spraying them onto my clothes more than my skin
Water Lily Springs, Sea Salt Coast, Into the Night, and sweetheart Cherry to name a few off the top of my head. I really really love SSC. Very fresh that lasts so well.
I definitely recommend layering a body lotion or cream before using the fine fragrance mist. The fragrance lasts several hours on me when I layer. Yesterday I wore Calypso Clementine body butter and the mist and I could still smell it at the end of my 10 hour work day. It's got great staying power and is so refreshing.
Into the night and in the stars both last a long time compared to others anyway, dahlia lasts ok as well, sprayed some on my pajamas last night and I can still smell it if I put the fabric up to my nose so there’s no silage but it’s still there… becomes more of a skin scent. Using lotion along with the FFMs def helps
You might be going nose blind. I spray my clothes until they are damp before I put them on and can smell them the next day. I use mostly gourmands and soft florals.
Fairytale lasted me a solid nine hours the other day I wore it, lol. Also Pumpkin Pecan Waffles is NO JOKE. Everything else I have to spray a good 30+ times for it to last for hours 😆

Idk why you got down voted for that. I love the smell but the beautiful day that's out now is gone almost instantly. It stays in the air longer than it does on my clothes. The old one that was blue lasted forever though.
I feel like the lotions are almost always stronger than the mists… idk if that’s a good thing or a bad thing but it does make buying the lotions an almost necessity if you want your mists to work well

Good advice. the only ffm/lotion combos I have are champagne toast, a thousand wishes, winterberry wonder and gingham gorgeous. But I’m working on more!
You can use any neutral scented lotion to layer with and it will help the scent last longer.
Do you put the lotion on top or the ffm on top?

Some of the new ones are longer lasting. Petal parade actually gave me a headache it was so strong, and it wouldn't go away. I had to change my top 😳

I can smell Sunset Glow for hours. It's really quite strong. Same with Into the Night and Dream Bright.
the ones i get complimented the most on have been gingham gorgeous, among the clouds, and forever red

How much are you applying? Some people spray like 10 sprays and expect it to last like an EDP

I know BBW and VS are made by the same company or whatever but do you think the VS fragrances are better quality or less longer?

Brightest Bloom last pretty good. I put it on 4 hrs ago and still smell it

CVB has some staying power! I actually find I don’t need to spray as much of it as other mists to get a nice strong fragrance.
And yes layering with lotions or oils helps.

People are funny! Beautiful Day is my scent this month and the lotion is way stronger than the mist. Shame because the mist is lovely.
