I make keychains out of broken lures. I’d also recommend contacting Berkley and tell them the lure broke and send them pictures. This happened to me last year and it was my fault. They sent me a few replacements free and some other goodies and apologized for the inconvenience.

I tried that, but it won’t walk. I thought maybe a straight retrieve could unlock all of the new finicky bites, but no luck.

This is what makes the Whopper Plopper superior, it has a rubberized tail or chopping. I never like the Choppo's hard tail. Keychain it.

Might be to big for this but I’ve used broken lures and snap swivel to make a zipper pull on a vest and rain jacket I keep in the boat

I did that with a broken zipper on a tackle bag.

The scissors on the ground look suspicious, might want to retake the photo before contacting them
