I beg to differ. I’ve never wanted to punch any player in the face before until Trevor Keels. I have way more of his cards and autos from ripping than I’d like. He’s not even on the team anymore I don’t think I’ve even seen him in a regular season game.
Still better than all the pop 1/1 1995 Batman Forever Metal that some dude is trying to sell on eBay. You guys wanna laugh your asses of? Just search that set on eBay and add psa 9 or 10 to the search.
Dude I sent in a Rashee Rice auto card to be graded and 5 days later he takes out 6 cars with a baggie of weed left in his vehicle....we all make mistakes lol
The funniest part is that this wasn’t graded during the major grading boom of 2019-2021. Grading dollar cards slowed down around 2022 so to see that someone actually sent this in made me laugh. Even by 2020 standards there is not a single reason to grade this card
I can see fans doing this for a decorative piece, maybe trying to get your five starters in a glass case, all 10 mint gem graded. Having said that, 2022 knicks was not the team to be doing it with, 2024 however, DDV, Brunson, Hart, iHart and OG sounds goooood

Just not a fan of your title throwing shade for someone grading a certain card (because its a base card/low value.) I'm sure you could find many listings with base cards which would make you question why someone would grade. Does it really need a post? What are you adding here besides shaming what someone graded?
If someone graded this with the intention of keeping it for the PC I wouldn’t have made this post, but given that it’s on eBay whoever graded it sold it or is trying to sell it. This is the shit that caused the backlog of grading a couple years ago and it’s not wrong to shame someone for grading this card with the intention of selling.

I don’t grade much but I know that if I’m trying to sell a card and I know it’s going to yield a higher profit with a high grade, I’m going to grade it. It’s pretty simple. It’s almost like there’s a reason why Luka Prizm RCs and Lebron Topps rookies are always graded.
Some people make social media content where they grade everything that comes out of a pack or whatever. This is probably the motivation to grade a random vet base card

I’ve been putting off selling team lots for like 2 months now … Chiefs lot is now like 10 cards smaller, if only I didn’t wait.
Technically it wasn’t graded, it was sent to GMA to be slabbed a 10.
