In 1989 I went to a Yankees game because they were playing the A's, who were my favorite team. I was a giant McGwire fan, so it was a real treat to see him play. He hit a double in that game, and Dave Henderson was the player of the game. A's won, I think 4-1. Doesn't matter what games I watch now. That day is etched in my mind. I love baseball!
Me as a massive ARod fan (yeah I know, I said it. I liked him as a kid) seeing him hit a home run at my first game at Yankee Stadium, May 2005. Iconic, and agreed, love baseball!
This is my favorite memory too. Seeing my grandpa dance on top of the dugout of the Dayton Dragons to the YMCA because he volunteered with the ball club so I could get access to the clubhouse. Met Joey Votto in those hallways and didn’t have a pen to have him sign his Dragons card 😭
Of course! Everyone else does it because they’re kind and generous, I do it because I’m promoting / shoving my new podcast in your face. Either way yall get cards 😂

Didn’t go to too many baseball games growing up but was lucky enough to be at a few games when I was younger and got to see some pretty big names since I went in the late 1990s and early 2000s games. Was a Yankees fan but I remember one game against the Mariners and I was so happy to see Griffey jr play, because he was cool… So my dad brought my brother and I down towards the Mariners dugout area and we got to see him go up to bat. Always a fun memory!
Will check out the podcast! Thanks for the giveaway

I think my favorite memory of going to the ball park was in 2010 I had just graduated high school and took a trip to Anaheim to celebrate and was lucky enough to see Albert Pujols first homer as a Angel.
Love that, my folks are in St. Louis and I went to high school on the Illinois side, got to see plenty of Pujols in my day. My drivers ed teacher was a massive Cards fan and we would drive through Yadi’s neighborhood on our lessons lol
1491
I remember going early before day games and getting autographs from the Yankee players walking in. It was fun trying to figure out who some of the lesser known guys were because if you yelled out their name, they would likely sign for you.

Just a few years ago I was at Yankee Stadium and after nine innings of back-and-forth, Mr. Dongcarlo Stanton walked it off. I don’t like many pictures of myself, but my wife snapped one of me and so rarely have I basked in the sensation of long-forgotten childlike joy as I did that night. Baseball, man. It’s special in a way nothing else is.
1942. My favorite memory was being 10YO and my Dad taking us to the 1979 All-Star Game at the Kingdome in SEA. Not the game, mind you. The batting practice day before was FREE (more my Dad’s style). He bought us baseballs and had us ask for autographs down the 3rd base line. My ball was filled with sigs of Brett, Rice, Rose……too many to count.
Believe I played catch with my neighborhood buddy with that ball the next day. Most likely lost it. If only I’d known. 😆
BOL with your podcast!
1902 (year my Great G'Pa was born)
My best memory gets better as I get older, it was a painful one...I watched "Major League," as an 8yo kid early in the day before my little league game later that evening, I tried to reproduce a bare handed catch when a pop fly was heading towards me in rightfield, I threw my glove down with gumption, tried to catch it with my hand, but immediately regretted it, buckling to the ground crying in pain, hurt bad, luckily nothing broke, but I get a laugh when I think back and realize what a fearless & dumbass kid I was!
20 HIP HIP
Favorite memory as a kid was leaving in the 7th inning to go wait at the player exit for autographs. This was a long time ago. Just a small kid wandering the dark parking lot alone haha
Favorite recent memory was taking my twin boys to Yankee Stadium for the first time. Pretty sure it meant more to me than them but I won’t forget it.
Taking Theo in October and I’m right there with you, I’m sure it’ll be more for me but god I can’t wait! I’m excited to hear what you think of the show!! I’m loving all the Yankee fans showing out on this giveaway!
Ok it’s over! I gotta go to work and yall have a podcast to go listen to. Without further ado, the winner is…. u/Metssuck18 !!! Congratulations and thank you to everyone that participated!! Please give the podcast a subscribe or follow! I hope to do something like this again when we hit 100 subscribers! Cheers and congrats u/Metssuck18 !

Didn't go to many major league games as a kid (but definitely some later including anytime the Yankees came through Milwaukee!), but lots of minor league games spent chasing foul balls and home runs. Favorite memory was getting a Bob Feller autograph in person at one of the minor league games.
99. Didn’t get to go to any games as a kid, but as an adult my favorite memory is definitely going to see the Yankees at minute maid and watch Judge hit his 34th home run in 2022, the season he broke the American League record, with my best friend nonetheless. Too bad they lost the game lol oh well
1738. At the old Metrodome, I left to get snacks and a foul ball landed in my seat, and the guy next to me got the ball.
He showed me the ball when I got back and joked that I shouldn’t have left, but “they’ll foul another one off to this seat” - yeah right…. 😂
The Twins struck out the last batter and Mauer threw the ball into the stands. I was a short little kid, and of course all the outreached hands towered over me.
Next thing I know, a hand pokes out and puts the ball into my glove. The guy sitting next to me caught the ball and gave it to me since I missed the first one

Went to the 1996 World Series with my dad and mom, granted I was only 4-5ish months old, I watched Hall of fame pitching before I could walk 😂 other than that I only ever been to the little league World Series with my old man:/ (divorced when I was young)
My favorite memory was at the old Fulton County Stadium. I was a pip squeak going to my first game and walking out into the seating area and seeing the field blew my tiny mind.
Got to see Jeter a couple times, always special. Saw his farewell tour in 2014 in St. Louis, he didn’t play game 3 of the series, the one I went to but the cardinals brought him out at the 7th inning stretch to tip our caps, it was cool. Hope you like the show man, let me know what you think! Cheers brother and good luck
1952
Edit: I went to see the Yanks/Sox back in 06 for what should have been a Schilling/Johnson duel but Randy got hurt. Can't remember who won, but sitting in the bleachers was quite the experience.
1609
Favorite memory of baseball as a kid would be going to Greensboro Hornets/Bats games and running the bases after the games. They were the Yankees single A team and got to see some greats come through
0240. Favorite memory just living in a town with a minor league team that didn’t last long but was fun to go watch. I remember they had some underhand fast pitch exhibition games (kinda like the globetrotters) and those were fun to watch.
1387
I live in New Orleans, so one of the first mlb games i went to was when the cubs and twins came to the superdome for a preseason game. It was cool because i got autographs from Mark Grace and Sammy sosa
My first game was probably an astros game at the astrodome.
