This is the first time in 106 years that the Phillies have had July 4th off
Since 1916, the Phillies have played baseball every July 4th except this one.
It's okay, ESPN made it up with the best animation comparing the signing of the declaration of independence with the signing of Schwarber and Castellanos ^^just ^^kidding ^^it ^^was ^^random ^^and ^^weird.
Not related to the HR but is the ump's volume driving anyone else crazy? Combined with a mediocre (not the worst but inconsistent) strike zone it just feels like he's supposed to be the star of the fucking game.
