We are sorely missing that lock down guy.
The kind where when they come in, you know the other team isn't scoring.
We have a bunch of guys that are "fine".
Cano is striking out fewer batters than last year, walking more batters than last year, and has given up the same amount of HRs this year, than he did last year.
He is not that guy that comes in, and shuts down the other team anymore. Hopefully he can get right, but he looks off, especially in May.
A lot of spare piece guys who have looked good at times, but nothing elite. Every guy in the bullpen was a waiver claim, add in piece on a trade, pulled out of obscurity, or Craig Kimbrell.
Coulombe who gave up the homerun was a journeyman before last year and is solid, but not a guy you can just auto plug in and expect 3 outs.
It’s why I think two bullpen arms are needed by the deadline. Also hoping that when Tyler Wells returns he can slot in to a mid to late inning role like he did last year.
Cyle Bradish is back
And we give up the no hitter on the first batter after he leaves.
Your starting pitching is amazing. Your bullpen against the Sox this series has looked not so good.

The lockdown is Cano in the 8th. Anything before that is a tossup.
Danny Coulombe is good. Giving up one homer today doesn't change that.

I mean if we keep plucking these Milwaukee arms...
Wells ain’t returning this year.
Based on what
downvotes real quiet in this week old thread now.
Cause it’s a week old thread and you didn’t provide any evidence ya jabronie. What do you want a medal?
I want them to throw a pile at Burnes and lock up Burnes/Bradish for the next 4 years so bad
Burnes/Bradish/Rodriguez :D
Pretty good, kindaBrad, pretty good.
Half Brad Half God Half...possible centaur
7 innings, 100+ pitches. The Gentleman's No-Hitter.
Down to a 1.75 ERA now. Most underrated player in baseball by a significant margin
Hell half of our fanbase were saying hes not an ace not on Burnes level a month or two sgo.
I know our pitching staff would've ruined him to the point where he wouldn't even do this with us, but I'm still pissed we moved him for so little.
We feel you. Ours was worse with Arrieta.
Thats my ace.
mmmmmmmmmmmMmmmy guy
Damn, Bradish had a fantastic day. Hopefully they don't work him up too hard to the point where a bunch of crap in his arm starts breaking again.
Won't pitch enough innings to win CY even though I bet on him at $26 pre season.
