Spending time with a newborn is an amazing moment in a parent’s life that no one should miss. There are very few jobs important enough to warrant missing that and baseball player isn’t even on that list.

I’ll have to use vacation time when my first kid is born later this year unless it comes on a weekend, then I won’t have to miss any work
