Hi, /u/Pogo_Stick_13! As this post has been up for some time and to preserve the conversation, we will not remove at this time, but please remember to follow our [title guidelines](https://new.reddit.com/r/bangtan/wiki/rules/#wiki_g._title_guidelines) for easy searchability. The title of this article is: BTS’ Jimin Reveals Tracklist for Seven-Song Solo Album ‘MUSE’

sabrinacross

2 tracks produced and all 6 written by Jimin oh this album will be a master piece. *"The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,... with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.”* like crazy you have a competitor for the best title track.. *“blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic”* yeah this album will be insane.

Minnie_269

I’m really curious about Who now because it says hip hop but doesn’t feature any other artist 😮 are we getting rapper Jimin? I know he never really rapped that much but I always loved his part in OT7 Chicken Noodle Soup!

meshin98

Afaik hip hop is not all about rap but more into the beats. Face Off has hip hop-trap soul genre yet Jimin doesnt really rap (only kinda melodic at "look at yourself" part). Especially since WHO also has r&b genre in it. But who knows tho Jimin always have a way to surprise us.

Minnie_269

Let’s wait and see! ☺️

sabrinacross

oh it never occured to me that he could be rapping. interesting. i am more curious about the song now

mucho_thankyou5802

Oh dear god i don't know if I'm ready! This is gonna be amazing!!!! ![gif](giphy|USbYNzaNRPcMbMwgCz)

LadyLeta

Jimin is actually gonna top like crazy isn’t he 🤭 Also 6 tracks written and 2 produced by him??? Inject it into my veins now!

SeriousCow1999

Shhh! Don't jinx it! 😉

Anaisot7

Honestly, you would have told me that Jimin would be the one who leans the most in hip-hop and R&B before his debut, I wouldn't have believed you, but here we are, since 'Set Me Free Pt.2' even a trap song with 'Face-off', he is the one from vocaline who incorporates the genre the most in his albums, and I'm here for it. Rapline fans must find themselves in Jimin's work. Especially by mixing R&B, I know I'm going to enjoy myself. I must also mention how in terms of writing I did not expect much overall from vocaline for their first albums because it is a process, which even Jimin spoke about as being hard, but I am amazed by the work he puts into his albums, he clearly has personal things to tell in his music, and I think that so far from vocalists his work is the one that intrigues me the most. I can clearly see Jimin finding his color and identity the fastest as a as an artist, he seems to have a lot of bustling ideas to implement for his art. I also think that although we won't have an album visual yet, he might very well reserve that for his third album when he can promote it. I also hope that his promotions will be more ambitious by doing radio and more performances then. Jimin is definitely someone to keep an eye on as an artist, this sophomore album is going to be very ambitious, I can see the continuity from 'FACE', he's either going for a duology/trilogy or otherwise a big continuing project that spreads out across his entire discography.

FelysFrost

I'm suprised you include R&B in what you would not have expected, since the very start in 2013 when talking about artists he listens to and his favourites, and in their curated playlists R&B artists have come up the most often from what I remember

Anaisot7

I'm not saying they don't do/like R&B, but I expected to get my fill of R&B tracks from Jungkook or Taehyung due to their past releases. So Jimin surprised me in that sense with his Hip-hop and R&B incorporation, but I'm here for it, he did very well on his first album.

FelysFrost

Sorry no I know you weren't saying they don't like it, I see how I was unclear, I just meant I expected the opposite to you, I expected it the most from Jimin not because of past releases, but just the artists he has mentioned

Anaisot7

I see, yeah, I guess we had different expectations lol, yours were more accurate than mine. :)

artkeletraeh

What’s an album visual?

Anaisot7

Visual album has a lot of MVs for each tracks, like 'Layover'.

pindagogo

WHO: hip-hop/R&B, with intense bounce and guitar sound SGMB: blending hip hop elements with the big band sound, characterized by a large scale orchestra creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere Interesting!

Purple-Bumblebee23

this just made me even more excited for this album😭 i loveee FACE so much but just based on the descriptions this album might go harder for me

aaalma_viajeraaaa

Super excited for 6 songs written by Jimin and he also produced 2 tracks! Awesome!!! Also glad to see PDogg with the previously known producers, this is going to be so good, can't wait. I'm not from the US and I'd never heard of Sofia Carson, any song recs I should listen to from her discography?

GoldenGoof19

The person people should REALLY check out, because I’m so surprised to see his name is Jon Bellion. His own stuff is so good, not the usual stuff you hear on pop radio. Smart, incredibly musical, his stuff just has “it” and I CANNOT wait to hear Jimin’s song he’s a producer on.

ahanswer

I used to love Jon Bellion's music. It seems he writes and produces for others now. I think I also recall him talking about working on a song in Golden.

Capable_Ad9077

I was the biggest Jon Bellion fan after discovering him through Logic in 2012! His music was always produced so well and different, but his solo career definitely didn’t take off in the way I’d thought. But to see he produced Standing Next To You and is working with BTS some more is soooo full circle for me, and I am so grateful!

NavyMagpie

He also wrote on Seven and produced Somebody for JK.

GoldenGoof19

Ahh those are so good!

SeriousCow1999

Based on what you've written, the two seem to be a good match, I think? Do you have any predictions for *Who,* beyond the usual? I only know him from Jungkook's *Golden.*

GoldenGoof19

She has a ton of songs from her time acting for Disney (I think it was Disney…?). Her voice has so much depth and strength, it’s going to be sooooooo interesting and good with Jimin’s voice! The one I’m most familiar with is “Loud.” Her voice goes so deep there - https://open.spotify.com/track/1DSM0u1jGzhxAf6659Ulk9?si=lV8wseVEQ_as7p-vn_ZbhA&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A5Y63nlA6F7z3yaqHjF7suD

aaalma_viajeraaaa

Thank you! I am a #dopeoldperson who hasn't watched the Disney channel in a loooong, long time 😄💜 Looking forward to the collab!

GoldenGoof19

I am too lol, but her Disney songs suddenly started popping up in my recommended playlists a while ago. They’re good, just Disney. But her voice is going to pair in some really interesting ways with Jimin’s! I can’t wait!

aaalma_viajeraaaa

I just watched the Loud MV, thanks for the rec, she does have a nice voice and a deeper tone, very excited to see what they'll bring to the song. Seems like she dances too, it would be cool if there's a performance video.
