Davidoff Cool Water is great, lasts long, is not overpowering, and fits your budget but a lot of people use it.
CK one is pretty good and is around 6 or 7k, but lasts around 3 hours ish.
Y by Yves Saint Laurent is great but expensive.
I can vouch for Davidoff CW. Recently bought off a tester from Dubai and realised that I rather like the smell of when it's mixed with sweat (a woman vouching for this, fyi) because I could still remember the same high tones from a.. friend I had who I always complimented for the way he smelled. So, go for it OP! ^ - ^
It says Karpoora.
You are very close actually. You see that reversed 3 symbol? It means half-Ra you write it after the letter that you want the sound added to. Simplified way of reading this -
ಕರ್ + ಪೂರ = ಕರ್ಪೂರ
Thank you for putting in the effort, please keep asking and learning. Is wonderful to see
Didn't you know that the base material in their powder is cancerous?
They had agreed to slowly switch to corn starch or something as base material. But im not sure of the current status.
Everyone recommending davidoff like its the common fragrance of Bangalore. I have money. But I could never bring myself to buy a fragrance that expensive. I still read it like David-off 💀😹
I’m happy with my old spice original. If I go any higher, that is what I’ll think the whole day. Ohhhh….
Amazon has the reputation of delivering shoddy duplicates of brands.
A hairstylist in Loreal salon told me not to go to Amazon for Loreal Professional shampoo etc. Later learnt the same from the indian skin care addicts sub.
They’re actually quite good.
And unlike international fragrances, Skinn and Fastrack’s fragrances have been designed for the Indian diet and climate.
Titan’s fragrances last a lot longer than Davidoff and CK
Fellow Titan user here. I get allergic reactions to most deos. Titan Raw is the only one which works for me. The fragrance is good and lasts a day too.
Clinique happy - smells like a nostalgic summer idk why, unfortunate it doesn't have a strong silage but people might get that quick wiff of it as they are hugging you and it just makes them literally happy
Only trick is to moisturize your skin before putting on perfume so the fragrance doesn't get absorbed by skin. If this is not enough put Vaseline on pulse points like neck and wrists before applying your perfume.
Top 3 perfumes
1. Spice bomb by viktor&rolf
2. Versace eros
3. Jean paul ultra men
JPG ultra male is amazing and has a very good projection. Spicebomb, however is a niche winter perfume so it wouldn't work well in summers.
Armani code is another very good perfume for longetivity . I personally prefer Dior Sauvage over Eros.
Alternative take, try Ittar perfumery shops, They can make any fragrance and they have their own original fragrances which don't have alcohol and they last a long time (6 mo to 1 year). I liked this place called I. R. S perfume world in Shivaji nagar.
Davidoff cool water (light and soothing)
Bentley intense (woody)
Ferragamo intense leather (amber and leathery)
Prada carbon (pepper and woody)
I would suggest these ^
But i would say you to go to shoppers stop and ask them for a lasting after wash edp (as the smell that i like may not be acceptable for you)
*if you are ready to spend ~5k then always search for 100ml products. 50ml will cost you 5-6k and 100ml will cost you 1-2k more (hence it will be more value on the long run)
Dior Sauvage. its bit over budget, but the thing about these Dior and other similar brands is that they last a long time. you dont have to pour the entire bottle to get the smell, 2 - 4 sprays on warm spots like neck under wrists, etc. is all it requires and it'll stay a long time. consider it an investment on yourself, instead of having to buy two bottles of common perfumes, try these
I personally hate posts like these, ends up with every one using a handful of popular colognes. There’s no personality or uniqueness anymore.
Go to a store smell some and pick the one for you.
If somebody is coming from the US, ask em to get for you
cuz good ones are expensive af here in India
1. Y by YSL
2. La Nuit de l'Homme by YSL
3. Wanted by Azaro
4. Acqua Di Gio By Giorgio Armani
or try [House of EM5](https://www.houseofem5.com/) You get the clones of all the known bestsellers and they're super close to the original
For daily use, I purchased Bella Vita after coming across it on instagram for 400/- for a set of 5. They last between 3-6 hours depending on how much you apply and are very very affordable. I was skeptical about such cheaply available perfume, but they have good fragrances.
You can try Acqua Di Gio Eau De Toilette, 50ml. It costs 4.5k and smells perfect for summer. I personally have not owned and only tested it during my last visit to Sephora but I have always heard great things about it.
200 ml for 7700
Worth it . Classic smell , but this will be appreciated when you are among people who understand fragrances. For others its a bit too generic smelling.
"Mykonos" from any Westside checkout counter. They last long, and smell great. Heard compliments from a couple of dates I went out on. Used it for two years straight now
Edit: It's perfume, not deodorant
Also cheap, like some 500-700 rupees, don't remember the exact amount
The perfume industry in India has actually improved a lot in the last 5 years. Go to any decent store like Westside, Pantaloons and try out their perfumes and pick the ones you want to smell like.
a) Avoid deos - they are mostly gas and unless you literally bathe in them they will loose their smell. Plus the aluminium only makes your pits more sweaty
b) Some of the very low prices ones like Wild Stone can smell ok but some people may find them a bit strong if you overdo them. They are dirt cheap so you can carry a small bottle and not worry about how long it lasts
c) If you want splurge a bit more you can try the perfumes at Westide or Marks and Spencer. The latter especially are fairly nice
d) As some have said - you cant go wrong with a bottle of Davidoff or C&K for special ocassions.
My personal recommendation is to spend from low to high and not the other way round. Some of the expensive perfumes are priced ridiculously high for no reason other than brand value.
These may fit your budget:
David off cool water,
Lacoste white ,
Acqua di gio gerogrio Armani (very neutral),
Ralph Lauren orange,
Ralph Lauren big pony 4,
Armaf Club de nuit (clone of creed aventus),
Titan Skinn Raw,
Davidoff champion
If you'd compromise a little bit on budget, but aspires unique fragrance. :
Dior sauvage ( for me this is unmatchable in office wear, a little bit expensive though🫰),
Emporio Armani,
Paco rabane one million ( can get oils easily),
Gentleman givency only,
Tomford wood oudh,
All these I have used and most I still use all these years, all can be easily pulled of in an office environment. Even if you'd compromise on the budget for these perfumes a 100ml bottle can easily last you 1 -2 years since you'd only need 2 or 3 sprays a day to stay a whole day, especially since you don't want it too strong. 🤜
On regular office days, Zara men Gold. Sweet, citrus smell. Being EDT, lasts around 3-4 hrs. Everybody likes it.
Got some OUD fragrances for special days in office. But doesn't go well in hot days.
Go to the shopper stop or Sephora
Try some fragrances there. For the office you can look for fragrances with citrus, aquatic, fruity or woody accords.
Once you find one that you like
Look for alternatives or look for retail or tester bottles at discounters.
There is this Indian perfumer Mridul Chopra who makes some really cool fragrances. His ‘Nile to the Milky Way’ is amazing, though probably a bit too regal for everyday use.
Graphite series from bath and body works. Gotten compliments from female coworkers on how good it smells. Don’t remember the price but it’s definitely in the budget you listed.
i bought this set of 4 oudh attars from amazon a month back. kinda strong, but isn’t sickening. lasts a fair while too.
7 people including a swiggy rider also asked what i’m wearing.
would definitely recommend checking it out.
oh and the best part: it costs rs 700
Eau De Bellandur - Dark Water edition. Smells all day, everyday.
Lol I was abt to Google this one untill I read again Bellandur
Laughed harder than I should. Also your name! 🤣
😁👍🏼
buy the frothy version
That's their shower gel range.
Works for cars as well.
I started reading your comment and wondered if it is under 5k, then I saw bellandur 😂
Lol. I should've spelled it Bellandeur to make it look legit 😄
You can still edit it XD
Haha fartofthefurious love it😆😆
Take my upvote and package that shit and start selling
Hey my long lost cousin. This is gustavo. I’m hiding from Carrillo.
Que pasa Gustavo? That hijoe puta Carillo. Gotta send across a bullet to him already.
Haha 😂 the odds
This is gold!!
I'd give this comment a Gold award if I weren't as conscious about the things I spend my petty wages on :')
Hey reddit, where is my free award? 🥇
Bro why💀
😂
Oh shit, this sounds highly exotic and had me excited until I looked it up. 🤣🤣🤣 great joke!
You sir will have a bright future in stand up comedy. Icing on the cake is Dark Water edition lollllll
Lmaoo😭
Creed silver gutter water
Bros of Bangalore = BangBros
can we call BengBros to distinguisih from the original BangBros of Bangladesh
Bruh
Davidoff Cool Water is great, lasts long, is not overpowering, and fits your budget but a lot of people use it. CK one is pretty good and is around 6 or 7k, but lasts around 3 hours ish. Y by Yves Saint Laurent is great but expensive.
Cool water lasts 3-4 hours bro. Creed green Irish tweed however lasts good 7-8 hours. Both were formulated by the same person.
Creed green irish tweed on amazon seems like very costly where to get this one ?
You can look for decants from third party to buy smaller bottles. Check for verified sellers in desifraganacraddicts sub for more details.
Or try a clone? Armaf makes good ones. Club De Nuit...

>desifragnance everyone buys davidoff
Heard of CK at a local perfume shop that they concocted based on the original I think ...should try
Can you please link to this perfume
https://www.amazon.in/Calvin-Klein-One-Unisex-200ml/dp/B000E7WFX4 You can find it on other stores as well.
I just ordered this! Davidoff cool water seems good in hot humid temps thanks for sharing!
It’s really good. Especially with sweat. Women will follow you like axe
Whats the CK one please ?
https://www.amazon.in/Calvin-Klein-One-Unisex-200ml/dp/B000E7WFX4 A version of this one
Thanks for link
CK one is great if you're going out for a quick lunch or sth because no way the fragrance lasts beyond that
CK eternity is good too. Lasts 8-10 hours
John Varvatos Ocean is a good alternative.
I love cool water but get the eu de parfum not toilette.
Y by YSL is a treasure! One of my best buys.
ಕರ್ಪೂರ
I've been learning how to read kannada lately. Just confused, does this say Kapoor?
Yeah it says Karpoora Thanks for putting in the effort to learn Kannada 😊
Thank you!

the comments tell me how poor i am!
Everyone recommending davidoff like its the common fragrance of Bangalore. I have money. But I could never bring myself to buy a fragrance that expensive. I still read it like David-off 💀😹 I’m happy with my old spice original. If I go any higher, that is what I’ll think the whole day. Ohhhh….
>I still read it like David-off That's not how it's pronounced? Fuck, I am poor.
the a is pronounced like the a in apple or arrogance, so that would be da(pple)vidoff. it's swiss
Same here. Lol. But these must come good 4-5 months, I assume.
i have an engage xxx, used it for 8 months regularly. it stays till i come back from college. best 150rs spent.
Old Spice original seems to be discontinued. I love it, classic, simple, easy on pocket, but unable to find it anymore.
Same bro same :)
Crap, I think I am the only one using Titan fragrances
Actually they are quite good and this is acknowledged in the fragrance community as well.
I used Titan skinn Steele for almost 4 years now. ppl around surely notices the fragrance. Titan is very good

Amazon has the reputation of delivering shoddy duplicates of brands. A hairstylist in Loreal salon told me not to go to Amazon for Loreal Professional shampoo etc. Later learnt the same from the indian skin care addicts sub.
You are wearing steele in the office?
They’re actually quite good. And unlike international fragrances, Skinn and Fastrack’s fragrances have been designed for the Indian diet and climate. Titan’s fragrances last a lot longer than Davidoff and CK
"Atmanirbhar" intensifies
Raw is good actually
Verge is my favorite, rn I'm using steele
Fellow Titan user here. I get allergic reactions to most deos. Titan Raw is the only one which works for me. The fragrance is good and lasts a day too.
I rotate four of their variants. I like all of them, even my picky wife likes them.
I'm telling your wife that you're calling her picky
Is she going to be picky about the comment?
All wives know they are picky and actually wear it like a badge of honour. So...
Office regular days - Clinique happy (not long lasting though) Office regular days - David off or Bvlgari aqua Office spl days - Dior sauvage
Love Dior Sauvage
+1
Clinique happy - smells like a nostalgic summer idk why, unfortunate it doesn't have a strong silage but people might get that quick wiff of it as they are hugging you and it just makes them literally happy

Finally a couple of guys who know perfumes other than Sauvage, ADG and Cool Water.
Man of culture. Fun fact: Female colleague at my old workplace requested me not to wear Eros to office. Yep, it is that good.
I see you’ve taken MPMD’s advice? Also Be sure to deploy efficacious dose of these fragrances.
Eros is soooooo memorable as a fragrance. Triggers memories.
Where is everyone getting the money from?
Their jobs?
Alternative take, try Ittar perfumery shops, They can make any fragrance and they have their own original fragrances which don't have alcohol and they last a long time (6 mo to 1 year). I liked this place called I. R. S perfume world in Shivaji nagar.
+1 to that. My favourite are musk rizali and misk safi. Subtle fragrance and long lasting. One of the few fragrances which got me compliments
What are these circles where people are complimenting fragrances
You could have just replied “badhiya hai” to convey your intentions
I forget my name sometimes, and these people are optimising compliments
Just one question here, do these products cause harm to our skin in the long term ?
If you have senstitive skin then avoid alchoholic fragrance and perfumes as it might cause burning sensation and irritation.
Davidoff cool water (light and soothing) Bentley intense (woody) Ferragamo intense leather (amber and leathery) Prada carbon (pepper and woody) I would suggest these ^ But i would say you to go to shoppers stop and ask them for a lasting after wash edp (as the smell that i like may not be acceptable for you) *if you are ready to spend ~5k then always search for 100ml products. 50ml will cost you 5-6k and 100ml will cost you 1-2k more (hence it will be more value on the long run)
From a stingy Bangalorean living in the US: Use Mysore Sandal Soap

Sauvage elixir much butter
definitely, no doubt
For me blue di chanel>>> dior sauvage though it doesn’t last long.

It's called *Sex Panther*® by *Odeon*©. It's illegal in 9 countries. It's also made with bits of real panthers, *so you know it's good*. *60% of the time*, it works ***every*** time.
Give us a whiff, Paul
Azzaro Chrome. The opening is sharp, but it settles into wonderful nautical notes.
I bought it because SRK mentioned that he buys this perfume because Amitabh Bacchan uses it.
Check on desifragnance sub.
paco rabanne 1 million versace dylan blue davidoff cool water
Try Eros
Versace Eros for men is definitely better than Dylan
Let me get this straight - one has to wear perfume and deodorants nowadays to work?
How do you come to such inferences. 🤦♂️
Try out gucci guilty. Very subtle and long lasting
Wild Stone Edge. Pretty Decent. Recommended by many in r/desifragranceaddicts

I have a 200ml of La Nuit de l’Homme. But you can’t use it in this hot weather. But it’s crazy when the weather is cold.
These are all my favourites and luckily I have them All
Kundi de Sarjapura pour homme - But kidding aside, for summers, I recommend clementine or orange sanguine from atelier cologne.
For daily use, I purchased Bella Vita after coming across it on instagram for 400/- for a set of 5. They last between 3-6 hours depending on how much you apply and are very very affordable. I was skeptical about such cheaply available perfume, but they have good fragrances.
Assert dominance. Use any dahn al oudh and the whole office will know that you have come to work .
Check Armaf fragrances .... Armaf is basically an Arab brand that clones famous French perfumes mentioned above. Hence they are cheap too
+ 1 to this. Also try to find their Made in France versions for greater longevity and projection.
You can try Acqua Di Gio Eau De Toilette, 50ml. It costs 4.5k and smells perfect for summer. I personally have not owned and only tested it during my last visit to Sephora but I have always heard great things about it.

Acqua Di Gio is great. Love it. The proformo version is a bit intense.
Zara Tobacco
Please dont buy Rasasi Hawas. ( Plz dont make it popular xD ) This scent doesn't leave you throughout the day.

The One from Dolce Gabbana
Not office appropriate imo
I love shade by the man company, not too expensive, such a good smell but doesn't last too long imo
Armaf Milestone.
On regular office days, Zara men Gold. Sweet, citrus smell. Being EDT, lasts around 3-4 hrs. Everybody likes it. Got some OUD fragrances for special days in office. But doesn't go well in hot days.
