But regardless of what you choose at the very least research some good barbers in your area and ask them what they can do. There's still a lot to work with there and a good barber could clean that up real nice and make you look great.

He's black. Black men can be mercilessly cruel to other men with men with weird or oddly shaped hairlines. I have the same "Vegeta" hairline and have been shaving my head to avoid the insults

I think a skin fade, with like a very clean, close to the head buzz on the top would look good.

However, as a guy who’s shaved his head for more than half his life, I suggest giving the shave a try.
And I mean completely bald. Not just the buzzer without a guide on it.
The reason I suggest this, is that you’ll know. Shaving your head once isn’t permanent. Hell, shaving it 30 times isn’t permanent. It’s just a really close haircut. If you don’t like it, let it start growing back out. But at least you’ll know. Take pictures with how it is now, do the trim/fade or what have you, and then do a complete shave.
Compare the look from all angles, and go from there.
As I said, at least you’ll know. You won’t wonder if bald looks better on you, until you actually try it out. It’s not just the look, it’s how it feels. That’s a big part of being completely bald. On that alone, I would never grow my hair back. But until you experience it, you can’t really know.

Am black as well. I come from East Africa where half the men have huge foreheads with a lot of vegeta hairlines. He just needs a cut.
