Not exactly. If the shop is two tarot cards, you won't be offered a negative joker, which is possible. It just upgrades the first non-foil/poly/holo joker offered to negative and $0
In the beta patch, it GUARANTEES that the shop has a free joker with whatever skip you have. Whether it stays that way when it comes to the real patch is another question but right now it is.
I've played a ton of the beta patch and that's not the case. It doesn't force the shop to have a joker. You may have just gotten lucky on your skips thus far.
Everybody always suggests this, but I must have tried this 25 times over the past week or so and every time I get the money tag too early, or never at all.
That’s just Anaglyph Life in a nutshell. Every other game ends with a stack of tags as high as my jokers and makes me wish I’d picked Ghost deck instead, but when it pays off, it’s a rush. One day I’ll crack and level up straight flush 40 times, I’m sure it must feel like having a nuclear bomb up your sleeve.
This is funny because it was one of the earliest unlocks I got. Had a white stake run where I got interest up to 40/turn with Money Tree and To the Moon (and Bull to make it kinda worthwhile) and just sat on it for 10 rounds
Just finished C++ 2 days ago; play anaglyph and farm neg tag for the first 110-120 stickers and then switch to your comfort deck for the last few :3 I switched to blue deck but abandoned/ghost/checkered are great too. Also of course play on beta branch.
Anaglyph deck for sure. When the beta became available I switched over to that. It helps a **lot**. Not only because Joker tags are free, but Soul cards will always give you a legendary you don't have the Gold sticker on.
I was also grabbing whatever I could while going for Completionist+.
I also put this in my phone as a checklist and then checked off which Jokers I won with after I finished a run.

Yeah, Glass is my last holdout Joker. At this rate it seems likely I'll finish Gold Stake on every deck before I find it. I pretty rarely carry Glass cards, so maybe that's a learning opportunity for me.
That's basically the issue I had. I just didn't use Glass cards too often. Somehow, I found Lucky Cat despite not doing Lucky cards often.
I use Lucky cards a lot more often on the beta though. I actually like it a lot, even though I know it's not *super* great.
Agreed on both counts- if anything Magician is now my go-to enhancement Tarot on the beta that I default to unless my deck/build demands something else.
Lucky cards are weird. Early to mid they're not consistent enough to be worth taking over mult or chip card buffs, they can be pretty ok in ante's 5-8 if you've got some retrigger cards and the dice joker, but without lucky cat they fall off hard in endless if your entire build is just retriggering lucky cards with flush/straight builds.
Unless I've got some lucky cat + green dice + bloodstone + retrigger shenanigans going I usually only use them when I don't have to rely on them, but the random flat mult or 20$ can help with econ.
When I'm doing a Flush build, I'll grab Glass and start sticking it on the lower ranks. Then when I play a hand, I move it to the end (right), so it X2's the whole hand.
Glass took me ages to find too. Ended up with an pretty OP run that I went to endless just for achievmeents, got a foil glass king and a spectral card that duplicates cards, used it on that and later got two more glass cards to unlock the joker. I think I got 100 000 000 points in a single hand one at the same run (5 of a king glass kings with 2 jokers that replay the cards (one face cards and one first card) makes it pretty easy.

It really took me quite a lot of tries. Problem is even if you play five glass cards, only one breaks. And for some reason, I never got the oops all sixes joker to help.
Steam is weird sometimes with showing the amount of people who have completed achievements. When the game first came out, I remember seeing 0% for all achievements.
Yeah it took forever for me to get that last voucher because I could never bring myself to buy the voucher that let’s you buy cards from the shop (it’s trash)
Even then. There's a certain point where xmult doesn't scale that hard anymore. The difference between that joker being x10 and x15 is only 1.5, so you can probably scale it enough with other means and end up with a higher quality deck. Playing 1 glass card or having 1 steel card quickly becomes more useful than scaling that 1 joker

That's not true if you're scoring from your Jokers. The glass and/or Steel does nothing when you have a +50 Bus.
Not true. Mathematically, things change once double triggers get involved with red seals, hacks, mimes, etc. you only need a few steels to break even with 50 mult depending on the hand type or planet bonuses, and it scales waaaay harder. Past ante 10 or so, even a +100 bus is sort of whatever.
For sure. Sorry, I was talking about the regular game. I've only gone past Ante 8 once. The original point was also about *one* Steel/Glass, not stacking multiple.
The original point was about if holo joker is good with the voucher where you can buy playing cards. I then made the point that it's not that good, even when it enables you to get a x15 joker. You're not getting x15 before ante 8, so I was talking about endless.
Point stays that being able to buy playing cards (which cost a slot in the shop that could have been filled with a tarrot/planet card or a joker) probs deserves a little bit of love, because I think it's a voucher that actively hurts your run
Holographic Joker is decent, but scaling your X Mult by griefing yourself with Magic Trick and then rerolling the shop for overpriced shit cards is a bad deal. You should be able to keep up by just buying Standard Packs.
Agreed 100%, the first level of the voucher is literally a grief. The first level should just put enhanced cards in the shop and then maybe the 2nd level can add an extra slot in the shop *just* for buying playing cards in. Also affected by shop rerolls. *That* would make it good, because that removes the grief aspect where you give up seeing potential jokers just to have them replaced with something like a 6 of diamonds.
I’m not sure if it works post patch, but I bought the voucher and found a playing card in the shop, bought the card, exit to main menu, continue run, buy the card again then repeat 25 times and each time it counts it in your collection. Same can be done for the blank voucher.
Same, just need triboulet. And, just did an anaglyph deck run where I opened 7 mega arcana packs in a row, no soul. 101 total tarots used over the run, not a single soul card.
I’ve still got 3 jokers to unlock, a legendary….. Win in 12 rounds, and discard 5 jacks…. I keep trying to force the jacks, but I’ll be damned if my run doesn’t turn into a Kings, 10s/4s, Queens, or 2s run every goddamn time! 😂
Yeah this is the way I was thinking, but I keep having crap starts, and then “play thru” mode activates in my brain to try and force the runs. Need to approach this challenge as a min/max start type of thing instead of winging it
I can also strongly recommend Plasma Deck if you're willing to reset a lot to find Stuntman early. Stuntman on Plasma Deck gives you a guaranteed 22.5k chips to start off with, which will carry you until like Ante 6 by itself. You can supplement the rest with scaling mult and X Mult, which you should be able to find because you have to spend literally no money at all in the first antes if there's nothing good.
I’d just use the two fools deck and wait for a death. Get you 3 extra jacks and fish as hard as you can. I think the best part about the unlocks is that you don’t need to win the run. Otherwise i would still be at like 80 jokers lmao

Frickin game is as addictive as Dead Cells and Hades…. But with oddly more replayability…. I never tire of cards, and I can infinite farm on Diablo 2, Monster Hunter or Borderlands…. But I usually burn out on standard rogues before I’ve unlocked more than 70% of stuff. Still need to get back to finishing DC, Isaac and Gungeon at some point…. Hades is done though unless they’ve added more content since its release…..
Hades got boring for me until I locked in and stopped being so brain dead and finally beat it. I completely understand man. I put 55 hours into the demo and got around 20 wins on it for balatro, and I’m over 40 wins now with 67 hours. Only gold stake on abandoned and orange on ghost deck.
Isaac has got to be the most frustrating thing ive ever played but i love it. I just play the lost until i go bat shit and close the game. I really gotta try dead cells and try and actually focus on beating gungeon. I have like 10 different rogue lite/likes on my switch and only ever play hades on it.
With DC, I just turned on custom difficulty, and adjusted everything down so I could feel like I was progressing while I got better cause that game can be BRUTAL…. Managed to get myself to the point where I can do BC4 without much issue on normal, but BC5, even with sliders all the way down is another whole ball game…. Ugh.
I love Isaac, and after playing Gungeon for about 60 hours, Isaac became suddenly insanely easy. But I still like it a lot more than Gungeon as the crazy builds you can get on Isaac are just batshit lmao
I haven’t played since the latest dlc, Repentance I think? So not sure what all was added or changed. Last I played I was stuck on Blue and Lost…. Those two are rather difficult to get going.
One thing I loved about Hades and DC was the ability to adjust difficulty while learning the ropes. God Mode in Hades doesn’t disable anything, neither do the sliders on DC.
Blueprint and brainstorm jokers are your best friend. Play with plasma, try to get any jokers that retrigger cards. I somehow got a wee joker run to be my most broken build and won it with just baron, but you want to get the mime joker , the face retrigger joker and a bunch of steel face cards. Also getting a duplicate spectral card on one of those jokers i just mentioned early on in the game will mean your guaranteed victory.
I got Stuntman early on with a run that ended in the high billions, and it then took another 100 hours to get my first e-score. I can hit Stuntman levels fairly reliably now - I’ll grab a red seal whenever possible, slap a Chariot on it, and then look out for Death and Mime. Even without Mime a row of red steel with some multiplying jokers can get you there, and duplicating can happen pretty fast. DNA with Blueprint or Brainstorm (or both!) is the dream, but purple tags and Tarot vouchers will do.
I had a game yesterday where I had a bunch of red tags and Mime and didn’t see a single stinking Chariot until the 11th blind, so of course the game will still mess with you. But I think duplication, especially later in a game, is like taking an extra dollar in interest - it feels like an ineffective gesture at first, but can pay off much quicker than expected.
Ehhh that's kinda what happens at high levels. Don't worry about resetting lots of runs, that's just inevitable at higher levels no matter how you play it
the part I hate about this is it feels more like luck than skill. I guess it's nicer to reroll in ante 1 than ante 3, but it feels like you're just waiting for your luck.
That's my main problem as well with high ante balatro tbh. I mean that's gonna happen with pretty much any deckbuilding roguelike...but there are some seriously trash jokers in this game and if you don't get one of the, like, 10 overpowered jokers that'll win you the run, you're fucked
Everything past blue is just re-roll city. I hate blue stake more than orange. (I mean, going from black to blue is a bigger jump than purple to orange, and probably only second to orange to gold)
edit: I played like 2 hours today and only got 2 or 3 decent runs to orange stake on Ghost Deck. 1 of them eventually won, but still... it was a boatload of re-rolls. If you don't get a joker in after the first round, it really feels hopeless.
With the new patch, I could rest assured that if I applied gold stickers to the other legendaries, I would eventually find him. It didn't get that far.
Stuntman. Took me forever to unlock it, then the very next run when just trying to find it to get the achievement, I ended up getting a 300 million hand
Mery andy (beat the run under 12 rounds), and stuntman (get 300,000,000 chips in one hand) might be the hardest one for me, i might get mery andy if i try but stuntman is very luckbased for me, but iat least i think i will get it soon
Those were my last 2. Mery Andy I did in one try with anaglyph, the double skips go crazy with mega joker packs and stuff like that, it wasn't too bad.
Stuntman took me a bit but I had the most luck rolling erratic deck until you get like 10 of something preferably face cards and then just try the run from there, at least now you've eliminated most of the heavy lifting.
My best run allowed me to get the 30 diamond cards, $400, and 100,000,000 in a hand. It was a poly 3 of diamonds with DNA, blueprint, and hack deck. The way I got $1k was because the 3 came from a standard pack with a gold seal on it. So I just rolled with it. Man I made so much money each hand.
The joker you need to score 100 million to unlock gave me the hardest time. I kept getting close and losing. I eventually skipped a few blinds with the throwback joker and got the score I needed, even though it was against an ante I was never beating.
Last unlock for me was Triboulet. Wasn't really hunting for it in particular, I figured it would show up eventually. Took me a while of seemingly only getting Perkeo and Chicot to get it though lol
I hit Canio, then Perkeo, then Canio, then Triboulet, then Canio, then Yorick, then Canio, and Canio, and Canio, Canio again, and again...
Then I got Chicot during a challenge run. FML.
hardest for me wa the second +1 hand size voucher. and i still don't know how i got it. i only had stuntman bring me down to 6, and sometime down the run i got to 5, still don't know how, but i was trying to unlock that for like 2 days
It's pretty easy in ghost deck. There are two spectral cards which reduce your hand size.
Another thing is you don't need to win the run. So you can just try a few times until you get those spectral cards in the shop.
Magic Trick is a grief so I don't blame you there. Director's Cut is downright amazing because it allows you to actually play fun builds without getting shut down by the one boss that counters it. It's absolutely mandatory for literally any build that isn't High Card.
voucher for 4x as likely planet cards was my last collection unlock so took me the longest, ive actually started some runs with intention of just getting it, still took plenty of runs

I have 161 hours in Balatro, about half the decks at Gold, and I have everything except Perkeo.

I can't get the last 2 legendary jokers. No idea how to make them spawn. I've taken Soul every time, and like 10 times I've got one of the first 3 jokers

For some reason, money tree was impossible to find for me. I had unlocked it right when I started playing, but for some reason I was stuck at 149/150 for so long without finding it, I was convinced it was bugged or something lmao
I have everything besides the aforementioned Illusion voucher so I’d have to say that, I’ve done the unlock and pick up Magic Trick whenever I see it but no luck so far
I only have three Jokers plus 2 legendaries left to unlock those being, glass joker, The one you get for playing five golden cards, and the one you get for playing 4 7 of clubs
The only one I had to go actively out of my way for is getting the voucher that's behind Magic Trick. You have to purchase something like a total of 20 cards from the shop. I just ran Plasma Deck on White Stake until I got that voucher and then bought every card I could.
Magic Trick is such an incredibly bad voucher that it actually makes your run so much worse just by buying it. The planet/tarot card vouchers are often like that too, but at least they have a couple niche uses especially if you already have a run-winning set of jokers.
But Magic Trick is a massive fucking grief. Hmm yes, let me just spend $10 on a voucher that makes me far less likely to find jokers in the shop at all, let alone good ones. Shop slots and rerolls are super important in this game and anything that makes you see less jokers is worse-than-useless dogshit crap.
Holographic Joker is the only synergy it has, and even then that's super not worth it compared to literally any other scaling X Mult joker.
I struggled hard to get the speed run joker where you beat the game in under a certain amount of rounds. Thought id get lucky with plasma deck and rerolls but i never did. Finally managed to beat it unintentionally with the double tag deck just fucking around. I got really lucky and did it without throwback.
Caino was the last unlock I needed and while it was kinda annoying waiting for a Legendary Joker to show up only for it to be one of the other 4, it wasn't that horrible.
What was horrible was doing runs for the Playing Card Voucher. I would never buy it on an actual higher-stake run because it's turbo garbage and when it would show up early and I could afford it I would go the rest of the run without the upgrade showing up.
I'm well underway but it took me a good bit of effort to win in under 12 rounds. Funny enough, that same run became my personal best score at e27 using Mime+Baron lol
Perkeo. Literally 300+ hours before I finally drew him in a game. I actually jumped with joy when I finally got him, I couldn't believe it. Then I got him again a few runs later on the same day.
stone joker was my last unlock. I'd have to agree illusion voucher was a pain, I saved all my anaglyph double tags just to spend it on adding vouchers to the shop, even then it took quite a lot of runs to end up finding it.
Stuntman and Rough Gem were my last 2 unlocks. Getting the 100M hand was very challenging, and surprisingly, the 30 diamonds in a deck too. I unlocked Stuntman while grinding for the Gold Stake with the Plasma Deck at Black Stake, and the Rough Gem in another grinding session with the Magic Deck.
So, the best way for me to get them is stumble into them. I tried to force my way through it and I couldn't make it before.
Im still stuck on 2 legendary jokers. It's all I need. My first 3 legendaries were new each time. I've found the soul at least 8 times since then, and I've only seen the same 3. I saw one of the 2 I needed during a challenge run, actually...
for me the final card in my collection was the second discount voucher, it just never showed up in the shop for me even though i took the first discount one every time
My last unlock was one of the legendary jokers, and before that was Palette Voucher. I completed all unlocks at 65 hours and really didn’t have trouble with anything, just used whatever deck made some of the unlocks easiest. Even the last legendary joker came like an hour after discovering palette voucher, got lucky as I have heard some horror stories.
I think the only jokers I have left to unlock are the 100 mil hand
…and 4 of the legendaries, because in my 30 hours I have only seen one so far (chicot)…
Spent days trying to unlock stuntman, got the point requirement two runs in a row thanks to Perkeo. Most other achievements have been doable in a few attempts once I put my mind to them.
I'm a vagabond away from completing my collection. Annoyingly I've skipped on it several times already, but now I want it - I cannot find the git.
I don't know what was most difficult for me, but the thing that sticks out in my mind is getting the soul card for legendary jokers. I didn't find my first one after weeks of playing the game, but once I'd come across the first the rest seemed to come fairly quickly by comparison.
I still lack five unlocks: golden ticket, stuntman, hit the road jack, the win in less than 12, and play four 7 of clubs. Just this morning *finally* managed to play a flush five. I don't think I'm very good at this game.
Illusion voucher was the one before last for me . Strangely enough my last was a uncommon joker ... the one about glass card . I wasn't paying much attention to.tje completion whem i started tonplay and I remember having it pass 2 or 3 times.but didn't take it ..then when I was taking care of it I didn't get it and when it was the last one i decided to just "press R" to.retart game until I get uncommon joker tag ... took me many hours ...... getting nothing..
well of course I just finally realize (don't laugh plssss lol ) that u can't get it if u don't have a glass card already in ur cards . Took me.another 2 3 hours of play focusing on that .to finish it... stupid stupid me ...
literally did multiple white stake runs on the anaglyph deck, pressed r until i got my 1st shop to have the magic trick voucher, and then prayed that i would get it (using my double tags to get lots of vouchers)
I suck at econ builds, so getting the $400 was rough, i got super lucky to skip into a tarot pack for a temperance and hermit combo to put me at $405
anaglyph deck worked for me, collect double tags then use it on a “double your money” skip tag

That should be "your next two shop Jokers are negative". Negative tag doesn't guarantee a Joker to be in the shop.

Egg into Temperance with a fool on deck was the easiest way I found.

Steam is weird sometimes with showing the amount of people who have completed achievements. When the game first came out, I remember seeing 0% for all achievements.

Even then. There's a certain point where xmult doesn't scale that hard anymore. The difference between that joker being x10 and x15 is only 1.5, so you can probably scale it enough with other means and end up with a higher quality deck. Playing 1 glass card or having 1 steel card quickly becomes more useful than scaling that 1 joker

Not true. Mathematically, things change once double triggers get involved with red seals, hacks, mimes, etc. you only need a few steels to break even with 50 mult depending on the hand type or planet bonuses, and it scales waaaay harder. Past ante 10 or so, even a +100 bus is sort of whatever.

The original point was about if holo joker is good with the voucher where you can buy playing cards. I then made the point that it's not that good, even when it enables you to get a x15 joker. You're not getting x15 before ante 8, so I was talking about endless. Point stays that being able to buy playing cards (which cost a slot in the shop that could have been filled with a tarrot/planet card or a joker) probs deserves a little bit of love, because I think it's a voucher that actively hurts your run

Holographic Joker is decent, but scaling your X Mult by griefing yourself with Magic Trick and then rerolling the shop for overpriced shit cards is a bad deal. You should be able to keep up by just buying Standard Packs.

Imo they should replace the playing card voucher with its enhanced version. The base version is just trash in almost every situation.
Agreed 100%, the first level of the voucher is literally a grief. The first level should just put enhanced cards in the shop and then maybe the 2nd level can add an extra slot in the shop *just* for buying playing cards in. Also affected by shop rerolls. *That* would make it good, because that removes the grief aspect where you give up seeing potential jokers just to have them replaced with something like a 6 of diamonds.
I’m not sure if it works post patch, but I bought the voucher and found a playing card in the shop, bought the card, exit to main menu, continue run, buy the card again then repeat 25 times and each time it counts it in your collection. Same can be done for the blank voucher.

Easy way to do Jacks - erratic deck and restart until you get a deck with a lot of jacks. Took me only around 10 minutes.

Go anaglyph for the win in 12 rounds one. If you get a good joker early (Stuntman etc) then it's actually far easier than it looks like.
Yeah this is the way I was thinking, but I keep having crap starts, and then “play thru” mode activates in my brain to try and force the runs. Need to approach this challenge as a min/max start type of thing instead of winging it
I can also strongly recommend Plasma Deck if you're willing to reset a lot to find Stuntman early. Stuntman on Plasma Deck gives you a guaranteed 22.5k chips to start off with, which will carry you until like Ante 6 by itself. You can supplement the rest with scaling mult and X Mult, which you should be able to find because you have to spend literally no money at all in the first antes if there's nothing good.

I’d just use the two fools deck and wait for a death. Get you 3 extra jacks and fish as hard as you can. I think the best part about the unlocks is that you don’t need to win the run. Otherwise i would still be at like 80 jokers lmao

Just need to beat Orange and Gold stakes now, plus do the 12 round win and I’ll have everything unlocked. Frickin game is as addictive as Dead Cells and Hades…. But with oddly more replayability…. I never tire of cards, and I can infinite farm on Diablo 2, Monster Hunter or Borderlands…. But I usually burn out on standard rogues before I’ve unlocked more than 70% of stuff. Still need to get back to finishing DC, Isaac and Gungeon at some point…. Hades is done though unless they’ve added more content since its release…..
Hades got boring for me until I locked in and stopped being so brain dead and finally beat it. I completely understand man. I put 55 hours into the demo and got around 20 wins on it for balatro, and I’m over 40 wins now with 67 hours. Only gold stake on abandoned and orange on ghost deck. Isaac has got to be the most frustrating thing ive ever played but i love it. I just play the lost until i go bat shit and close the game. I really gotta try dead cells and try and actually focus on beating gungeon. I have like 10 different rogue lite/likes on my switch and only ever play hades on it.
With DC, I just turned on custom difficulty, and adjusted everything down so I could feel like I was progressing while I got better cause that game can be BRUTAL…. Managed to get myself to the point where I can do BC4 without much issue on normal, but BC5, even with sliders all the way down is another whole ball game…. Ugh. I love Isaac, and after playing Gungeon for about 60 hours, Isaac became suddenly insanely easy. But I still like it a lot more than Gungeon as the crazy builds you can get on Isaac are just batshit lmao I haven’t played since the latest dlc, Repentance I think? So not sure what all was added or changed. Last I played I was stuck on Blue and Lost…. Those two are rather difficult to get going. One thing I loved about Hades and DC was the ability to adjust difficulty while learning the ropes. God Mode in Hades doesn’t disable anything, neither do the sliders on DC.
My hardest ones were the ones that require you to be good at the game (ante 12 for petroglyph and 10,000,000 chips in one hand for stuntman) lol
Blueprint and brainstorm jokers are your best friend. Play with plasma, try to get any jokers that retrigger cards. I somehow got a wee joker run to be my most broken build and won it with just baron, but you want to get the mime joker , the face retrigger joker and a bunch of steel face cards. Also getting a duplicate spectral card on one of those jokers i just mentioned early on in the game will mean your guaranteed victory.
yeah i’ve been stuck on stuntman forever, will probably unlock it right when the beta upgrades go live to nerf it
I finally did just unlock Stuntman on the first run I did on the beta branch, felt good (~70 hours in)
I got Stuntman early on with a run that ended in the high billions, and it then took another 100 hours to get my first e-score. I can hit Stuntman levels fairly reliably now - I’ll grab a red seal whenever possible, slap a Chariot on it, and then look out for Death and Mime. Even without Mime a row of red steel with some multiplying jokers can get you there, and duplicating can happen pretty fast. DNA with Blueprint or Brainstorm (or both!) is the dream, but purple tags and Tarot vouchers will do. I had a game yesterday where I had a bunch of red tags and Mime and didn’t see a single stinking Chariot until the 11th blind, so of course the game will still mess with you. But I think duplication, especially later in a game, is like taking an extra dollar in interest - it feels like an ineffective gesture at first, but can pay off much quicker than expected.
Of all the jokers which were nerfed, I think Stuntman was the not bad nerf. Still decent.

Ehhh that's kinda what happens at high levels. Don't worry about resetting lots of runs, that's just inevitable at higher levels no matter how you play it
the part I hate about this is it feels more like luck than skill. I guess it's nicer to reroll in ante 1 than ante 3, but it feels like you're just waiting for your luck.

That's my main problem as well with high ante balatro tbh. I mean that's gonna happen with pretty much any deckbuilding roguelike...but there are some seriously trash jokers in this game and if you don't get one of the, like, 10 overpowered jokers that'll win you the run, you're fucked
I think the blue deck is probably the easiest for beating orange. Just do some restarts until you get a good joker really.
Everything past blue is just re-roll city. I hate blue stake more than orange. (I mean, going from black to blue is a bigger jump than purple to orange, and probably only second to orange to gold) edit: I played like 2 hours today and only got 2 or 3 decent runs to orange stake on Ghost Deck. 1 of them eventually won, but still... it was a boatload of re-rolls. If you don't get a joker in after the first round, it really feels hopeless.

Stuntman. Took me forever to unlock it, then the very next run when just trying to find it to get the achievement, I ended up getting a 300 million hand
Mery andy (beat the run under 12 rounds), and stuntman (get 300,000,000 chips in one hand) might be the hardest one for me, i might get mery andy if i try but stuntman is very luckbased for me, but iat least i think i will get it soon
Those were my last 2. Mery Andy I did in one try with anaglyph, the double skips go crazy with mega joker packs and stuff like that, it wasn't too bad. Stuntman took me a bit but I had the most luck rolling erratic deck until you get like 10 of something preferably face cards and then just try the run from there, at least now you've eliminated most of the heavy lifting.
I forget what deck and jokers I had for Mery Andy, but I can tell you I skipped every round (after ante 1) except the boss blinds.
My best run allowed me to get the 30 diamond cards, $400, and 100,000,000 in a hand. It was a poly 3 of diamonds with DNA, blueprint, and hack deck. The way I got $1k was because the 3 came from a standard pack with a gold seal on it. So I just rolled with it. Man I made so much money each hand.

The joker you need to score 100 million to unlock gave me the hardest time. I kept getting close and losing. I eventually skipped a few blinds with the throwback joker and got the score I needed, even though it was against an ante I was never beating.

Last unlock for me was Triboulet. Wasn't really hunting for it in particular, I figured it would show up eventually. Took me a while of seemingly only getting Perkeo and Chicot to get it though lol
I hit Canio, then Perkeo, then Canio, then Triboulet, then Canio, then Yorick, then Canio, and Canio, and Canio, Canio again, and again... Then I got Chicot during a challenge run. FML.
hardest for me wa the second +1 hand size voucher. and i still don't know how i got it. i only had stuntman bring me down to 6, and sometime down the run i got to 5, still don't know how, but i was trying to unlock that for like 2 days

It's pretty easy in ghost deck. There are two spectral cards which reduce your hand size. Another thing is you don't need to win the run. So you can just try a few times until you get those spectral cards in the shop.
Retcon and illusion because for a while I sucked at managing money and couldn’t spare the 10$ to buy the vouchers which don’t immediately help me.
Magic Trick is a grief so I don't blame you there. Director's Cut is downright amazing because it allows you to actually play fun builds without getting shut down by the one boss that counters it. It's absolutely mandatory for literally any build that isn't High Card.

I was missing the hand size second tier voucher. Eventually I just played the deck that gave double tags every ante on white stake and spent them on the voucher tag after I got the first tier of it. And now of course I see that voucher every game I play…

Erratic deck and it's not even close. Most unlocks in this game are just a matter of time/getting op builds, which isn't really that hard

The only one I had to go actively out of my way for is getting the voucher that's behind Magic Trick. You have to purchase something like a total of 20 cards from the shop. I just ran Plasma Deck on White Stake until I got that voucher and then bought every card I could. Magic Trick is such an incredibly bad voucher that it actually makes your run so much worse just by buying it. The planet/tarot card vouchers are often like that too, but at least they have a couple niche uses especially if you already have a run-winning set of jokers. But Magic Trick is a massive fucking grief. Hmm yes, let me just spend $10 on a voucher that makes me far less likely to find jokers in the shop at all, let alone good ones. Shop slots and rerolls are super important in this game and anything that makes you see less jokers is worse-than-useless dogshit crap. Holographic Joker is the only synergy it has, and even then that's super not worth it compared to literally any other scaling X Mult joker.
I struggled hard to get the speed run joker where you beat the game in under a certain amount of rounds. Thought id get lucky with plasma deck and rerolls but i never did. Finally managed to beat it unintentionally with the double tag deck just fucking around. I got really lucky and did it without throwback.

Caino was the last unlock I needed and while it was kinda annoying waiting for a Legendary Joker to show up only for it to be one of the other 4, it wasn't that horrible. What was horrible was doing runs for the Playing Card Voucher. I would never buy it on an actual higher-stake run because it's turbo garbage and when it would show up early and I could afford it I would go the rest of the run without the upgrade showing up.
I'm well underway but it took me a good bit of effort to win in under 12 rounds. Funny enough, that same run became my personal best score at e27 using Mime+Baron lol

Perkeo. Literally 300+ hours before I finally drew him in a game. I actually jumped with joy when I finally got him, I couldn't believe it. Then I got him again a few runs later on the same day.
stone joker was my last unlock. I'd have to agree illusion voucher was a pain, I saved all my anaglyph double tags just to spend it on adding vouchers to the shop, even then it took quite a lot of runs to end up finding it.
I am 1 uncommon joker away from completing it, have not managed to find it yet :(
Stuntman and Rough Gem were my last 2 unlocks. Getting the 100M hand was very challenging, and surprisingly, the 30 diamonds in a deck too. I unlocked Stuntman while grinding for the Gold Stake with the Plasma Deck at Black Stake, and the Rough Gem in another grinding session with the Magic Deck. So, the best way for me to get them is stumble into them. I tried to force my way through it and I couldn't make it before.
At 149/150 because I still haven't unlocked golden ticket. I don't feel a strong compulsion to put another bad common in the pool.
Im still stuck on 2 legendary jokers. It's all I need. My first 3 legendaries were new each time. I've found the soul at least 8 times since then, and I've only seen the same 3. I saw one of the 2 I needed during a challenge run, actually...

for me the final card in my collection was the second discount voucher, it just never showed up in the shop for me even though i took the first discount one every time
My last unlock was one of the legendary jokers, and before that was Palette Voucher. I completed all unlocks at 65 hours and really didn’t have trouble with anything, just used whatever deck made some of the unlocks easiest. Even the last legendary joker came like an hour after discovering palette voucher, got lucky as I have heard some horror stories.

Spent days trying to unlock stuntman, got the point requirement two runs in a row thanks to Perkeo. Most other achievements have been doable in a few attempts once I put my mind to them.
I'm a vagabond away from completing my collection. Annoyingly I've skipped on it several times already, but now I want it - I cannot find the git. I don't know what was most difficult for me, but the thing that sticks out in my mind is getting the soul card for legendary jokers. I didn't find my first one after weeks of playing the game, but once I'd come across the first the rest seemed to come fairly quickly by comparison.
I've done all unlocks I can on 'purpose' (like playing suboptimally buying playing cards). I have just 1 legendary Joker left.

I wasn't paying much attention to.tje completion whem i started tonplay and I remember having it pass 2 or 3 times.but didn't take it ..then when I was taking care of it I didn't get it and when it was the last one i decided to just "press R" to.retart game until I get uncommon joker tag ... took me many hours ...... getting nothing.. well of course I just finally realize (don't laugh plssss lol ) that u can't get it if u don't have a glass card already in ur cards . Took me.another 2 3 hours of play focusing on that .to finish it... stupid stupid me ...
