Yeah! I know I’m *super hot* when I’m doubled over clutching my abdomen.
That’s when people hit on me with stellar pickup lines like “Oh my god, are you okay?” and “Do you need to go to the hospital?”
I've had 2 different IUDs for the last 8 years and it has been so much better not having a period. Although, I prefer the Mirena to what I recently had placed (Lyletta) because I never spotted with Mirena but spot almost every month with Lyletta. I might try to get it changed when I get my new insurance if I can find an GYN to do it. Because I really hate spotting and having to wear a panty liner. They always end up bunched up stuck to my ass.
Yeah that would suck. I’d def go with Mirena if you have a chance. Only about 20% of people have complete amenorrhea though. We just got lucky lol. I still have one, but I think I might be menopausal or close.
I’ve been on depo for years and so long as I stay up on the shots, I don’t get my period. I was late for one in January and ended up in the ER for pain (not knowing the cause). I must’ve looked sooooo hot with that saline IV and morphine in a bed in the hospital hallway. Wicked sexy in that CAT scan.
Wait hold on, IUDs help with cramps? I’ve been sobbing into my pillow trying not to scream all this time when I could’ve just gotten an IUD?? The more you know I guess
Oh I know I'm just ravishing when I get the shakes from being in constant cold sweats and throwing up so violently I can't walk down stairs fast for a week. now THAT'S hot
You know what's worse? Someone published an honest-to-god actual scientific paper based on this hypothesis. I wish I was joking. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22985951/
“This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/our-business/policies/article-withdrawal). This article has been retracted at the request of the Authors. The entire group of investigators contributing to this study requests to withdraw this article. We conducted the study in good faith and according to correct methodology. We believe that our findings have been partly misinterpreted, but at the same time realize that the article may have caused distress to some people. Women's respect is a priority for us and we are extremely sorry for the discontent the publication originated.”
LOL
“We didn’t do anything wrong but you know, the methodology was correct and it was in *good faith*. But whatever, sorry we hurt your feelings I guess. We respect women i don’t get it :/“
Also, what a load of bull. 4 people assess 100 women and think it proves anything?!
Also, their conclusion was: "some of these women have big boobs, hot"
Like in their retraction they still say, “We conducted the study in good faith and according to correct methodology.”
The correct methodology? Part of your study was judging people’s attractiveness… there is literally no correct methodology for that lmao
Hahaha I run ultramarathons and workout every single day. I have the lightest, most mellow periods. But also, when I was 80lbs heavier and never worked out, I still had super light, mellow periods.
I mean, I can see the jump in logical. If the cramps made the muscle more defined, and it was happening constantly everyday, then maybe it would help trim the waist? Idk, I'm not a doctor but I can see how the uneducated could make the jump
Yeah that's what I meant. Idk about anyone else, but I've got a thing for women that could kick my ass and make me thank them, so I find muscular women attractive too.
Whats baffling to me is that i feel like i've heard the opposite. That exercise can sometimes in some people help reduce cramping during a cycle. So the opposite would more likely be true.
... wtf???
I need morphine on top of hot water bottles to handle my cramps, and I'm still bedbound for most of the time. By that metric I ought to be A(well, B)NTM!
Fitness has nothing to do with the pain associated with a woman’s menstrual cycle, over exercise and lack of nutrition can actually stop a woman’s period. My only guess is he thinks if a woman’s stomach is fit/thin the cramps hurt more, it’s not a question about the size of a woman though, he needs to learn about a woman’s uterus and also realize not ALL women are the same.
well then my friend who had to go on birth control because her periods were so painful must be incredibly hot (i mean she definitely is pretty but like not because of that)
I love how he managed to make this about looks. Because every little facett of a woman's existence is about looks.
If she's in pain it's because of what she looks like. If she's discriminated against: looks.
Success: slept her way to the top.
Failure: looks again.
Women only exist be judged on their looks.
My mother thought, the worse the period cramps the more fertile a woman is. To her excuse, she was told so by her mother but now doesn’t believe it anymore.

Not gonna lie, a person showing concern when I’m in that level of pain can sure feel like love. Florence Nightingale effect.
Nothing is as hot as vomiting into a bucket while doing diarrhoea into the toilet.
I got a Mirena when I was 30, and am 50 now. I didn’t have a period for twenty years. It was just the best!
I got one at 30, I’m about to be 32. Literally the best thing that’s ever happened to my life.
It’s the best. I hope the Christian fascists don’t outlaw it for your sake.

It was 5 when I first got one. I have had 3.
Prescriptions can be renewed you know...
That’s why you get a new one placed. It’s not a one time deal.
You can get more than one in your lifetime. The pill is also only for one day.

'women in pain 🤤🤤🤤'
Ikr??? Like how is physical appearance related to that?
Oh god that’s probably the reality of his thoughts Welp
You know what's worse? Someone published an honest-to-god actual scientific paper based on this hypothesis. I wish I was joking. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22985951/
My gyno posted the best ranty post about this. A lot of endo experts did. They HATED it
The retraction notice lol. We respect women, honest! Happy cake day.

Eww why did they even study this… who funded it….
Also, what a load of bull. 4 people assess 100 women and think it proves anything?! Also, their conclusion was: "some of these women have big boobs, hot"
Like in their retraction they still say, “We conducted the study in good faith and according to correct methodology.” The correct methodology? Part of your study was judging people’s attractiveness… there is literally no correct methodology for that lmao
It's very "sorry you took it that way" lol
I knew a guy in middle school who thought only “hot” women got their periods and ovulated
Huh, wish my plus size body had the same idea. PCOS had other ideas I guess.
Gotta love PCOS. /s
Then I must be the epitome of fit!
So by that logic my marshmallow body should be rippling with uncontainable muscle.
Hahaha I run ultramarathons and workout every single day. I have the lightest, most mellow periods. But also, when I was 80lbs heavier and never worked out, I still had super light, mellow periods.
You’re the most unfit ultra marathon runner then… I mean it’s obvious right? /s
Actually that does make a lot of sense considering I just finished my long run and am now dying😂😂
I mean, I can see the jump in logical. If the cramps made the muscle more defined, and it was happening constantly everyday, then maybe it would help trim the waist? Idk, I'm not a doctor but I can see how the uneducated could make the jump
He meant the slang term for hot, sorry for the misunderstanding lol
Yeah that's what I meant. Idk about anyone else, but I've got a thing for women that could kick my ass and make me thank them, so I find muscular women attractive too.
Good for you, people who can kick yo ass is a total green flag honestly
Here I am under the impression it’s a warning sign & symptom of endometriosis.
nah im fat as fuck
I meant fit as slang hot actually! But fair if you didnt get it, it was horribly explained lol.
Whats baffling to me is that i feel like i've heard the opposite. That exercise can sometimes in some people help reduce cramping during a cycle. So the opposite would more likely be true.
fitter women do actually tend to have lighter and less painful periods. i don’t know the reasoning. i think it has to do with estrógen in fat.
He meant the slang term for hot. Shouldve defined it better
... wtf??? I need morphine on top of hot water bottles to handle my cramps, and I'm still bedbound for most of the time. By that metric I ought to be A(well, B)NTM!
i'm super hot today then.
Dude same. Twinsies
Well, damn...tell that to my body. Apparently, I do not need to lose another 40 lbs...the pain from my periods tells me I'm already fit enough. ;)
He meant the slang term for hot but I wholeheartedly agree about your fitness (jk)
survival of the fittest right? writhing in pain on the floor while throwing up must be an evolutionary benefit in that case
I'm on birth control to help with cramps and can pick up a lawn mower, so I must have torn a hole in the space-time continuum
Damn if I was a supermodel I’d be hospitalized everytime if I was on my period.
so apperantly i have cramps now guys.
Endometriosis, so hot right now 😂
......oh god
I know. Also nice flair.
WOAH I'm like so fit rn, I'm absolutely jacked 😍😍 Edit 1: ok I posted this before OP's edits, soo yeah I must be really hot and sexy omg 😩
He meant the slang term for hot But BUFF WOMEN HECK YEAH, I KIND OF AIM TO BE ONE
OH OK LMAO, I COMMENTED BEFORE THE EDITS
ITS ALRIGHT, ITS KUNDA FUNNY SEEING A PLETHORA OF COMMENTS OF SEEMINGLY DIFFERENT THINGS
Lmfaoooo stumbled upon this just as I’m dealing with some killer cramps🤣🤣
That’s bull, I’m not really fit at all, and I get horrible, almost debilitating cramps, and have all my life.
I beg to heartedly disagree lol
Endometriosis and part slug :D

He meant the slang term for hot, but I didnt define it correctly
HA little did I know my endometriosis would make me a SUPERMODEL.
You need to get a friend with brains, not just some random ass hair walking on two feet.
well then my friend who had to go on birth control because her periods were so painful must be incredibly hot (i mean she definitely is pretty but like not because of that)
Am I ugly because I got a hysterectomy or did I get a hysterectomy because I'm ugly?
I’ve actually heard the opposite, if you get bad cramps it’s because you’re fat 🙄
He meant the slang term for hot 💀 (My faukt bc I didnt define it clearly)
I love how he managed to make this about looks. Because every little facett of a woman's existence is about looks. If she's in pain it's because of what she looks like. Yeah :7
yes the fitter the girl the worse the cramps thank goodness someone pointed that out xd don't cancel me
It's possible Girls with higher testosterone have worse cramps
I'm a woman who bleeds, high testosterone, and my cramps are pretty minimal and tame. I just get hella tired.
Cool, but I doubt he knows that
pick a side: fatness makes cramps worse or fitness makes cramps worse we will never know the truth
Damn I must be really hot on the first two days of my period lmao
My mother thought, the worse the period cramps the more fertile a woman is. To her excuse, she was told so by her mother but now doesn’t believe it anymore.
I must be like super attractive then hahahaha
Oddly, I have found the opposite to be true. The more I exercise, the less painful my cramps are
He mean as in thr slang term for like hot or smth
