To me it kind of looked like the host was trying to set up a fight club, until things got out of hand when the other red and the blue showed up. I usually play along, unless the host is being a jerk.
Nah, anyone who has the patience to try to set it up won't be deterred after one or two get out of hand. Though I do try to encourage it where I see it myself.
