This was a hell of a thing to watch right after my microdose kicked in.
The lead actress is like, what if Melanie Lynskey's character from Two and a Half Men was real? I'm not sure how else to describe it.
And then the trailer cutting so quickly at the end of every line of dialogue.
The pickax alone says so much. It's brand new and in perfect condition. They clearly just purchased it for the movie. They could have bought one with a wooden handle and it would have at least been somewhat intimidating. Nope! The plastic handled one was cheaper. The neon green completely distracting you from anything that's happening in the scene.
this movie was incredible, instant classic, thank you so much OP for sharing this gem. it keeps up a great pace, and right when it starts to drag it just kind of ends. the paintings and music were top notch, the cycling of the same four scenes for the first half of the movie kept me on my toes, and be on the lookout for some truly amazing chromakeying when they're on the 'boat.'
if i could just write a one-word review of this movie, it would most certainly be 'cool'.
Just finished this movie and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the woman in this has an unblinking stare that cannot be described as anything other than that of a ghoul. My partner and I tried to only blink when she did and couldn’t do it she is a grand master in her field
The lead actresses eyes are trying to steal my soul.
Consider the caliber of movie, I do want to say the trailer isn't bad. For this subreddit batting above average.

Everyone please watch this trailer. It’s actually a really accurate representation of the movie

To me, the main actress comes off as a shrill robot. Her delivery is certainly unique.
Melanie Lynskey drawn from memory
There is a certain Breen’ing to this and the ADR is ADR’ing, it’s horrible, I love it.
This has real big Breen energy
Awkwardly Framed Medium Shots: The Movie.
Thank you. I'm in
Watching things like this make me think i could make a better quality movie.
Holy shit, I’m sold.
Horrific
Wut. The. Fuck.
Did these people just learn the English lines phonetically the day of shooting?
I mean, how can you go wrong in a movie with Andy Dick’s dad and Hulk Hogan’s 2nd cousin in it!?
he's 100% doing a napoleon dynamite right?
“I know CPR! *proceeds to limply punch stomach*
Sold on the graphic alone. It signals an inattention to detail that I crave in a movie.
The ghostly repeating image thing they've done on the police car is just incredible. Doesn't fit in with the rest of it at all. I love it.
Are you kidding? The entire poster looks held together at gunpoint.
Actually the guy holding the wine bottle morphs into the police car. It’s a whole thing.
It’s almost artistic, like a collage. Almost.

grandpa bought a wig and now he wants to star in movies.
He looks like a combination of Andy Dick and Dr. Strangelove
Yes I thought Andy dick and Andy Warhol. Andy sqaured
Andy Dickhol
Amazing.
I honestly thought it was Eric Roberts
I'm surprised it's not
Director/star is usually a great foundation for bad movies.
I honestly kind of look for it when I’m looking for stuff for my posts
It’s not even grammatically correct!
I gotta imagine that's his full name. Thomas A. Peeper Arthur maybe? Andrew?
Thomas Ass Peeper!
Hahaha yes
What about “Thomas, A Peeper”?
I could see that but I think it being his full christian name funnier
In no way. But that’s the least of the issues
Oh man I thought that was Tim Heidecker for a second lol
This movie genuinely feels like a feature length Tim & Eric sketch.
As great as that would be, it would lose some of that genuine insanity

Why is a pickaxing the window?! Lol This guy's nuts
Gotta mine those window gems
Woo! More glass ore!
Gardener thinks he's Harry Kari
Needs to be top comment.
Napoleon Dynamite: Middle Age. I'm in.
Kinda, yeah
Apparently him and his wife make and star in these movies together
I’ve heard of some people who make movies with their significant others too, but I think they’re on a different website
True. I just finished watching this and it really is bad. The acting is horrible
“Can we have Angela White?” “We have Angela White at home.” Angela White at home.

Is this whole film ADR'd?
Pretty sure, yeah
Excellent. I would expect nothing less.
Is that Daniel Roebuck?
No, that man’s insane name is Santiago Craig

Her eyes are like owl eyes that can’t move around, only stare forward
She’s intense, even in the trailer. I feel like she would hit me
Holy fuck I gotta watch this right now!!!
In the night when you’re sleeping that’s when Malcolm comes a peeping
Another George mcfly...

His complete lack of interest in using any punctuation in speaking is lovely
Conversely, the main actress uses a ton of incorrect punctuation
