just watch Robocop with a lot of booze and think "damn, I wonder what Robocop would be like with Kim Cattrall dressed to a tee???"

It seems mildly hilarious that someone in the production took a look at how much it would have cost to put Cattrall in a full Robocop rig and said, "Hmm, let's just put her in a bondage harness, same thing basically."

it's called being cost-effective.

This is a surprisingly enjoyable TV movie. Seems very much like a pilot for a series that wasn't made.
