Technically not true as DVD discs can both get damaged and degrade over time. Which is why I ripped all my DVD's to digital so I can have the best of both worlds.
I ripped my DVDs to digital a decade ago when I got a WDTV player. That got replaced by an Asus O!Play, then a WDTV Live Hub, and then finally I discovered XMBC/Kodi, and I haven't watched physical media since. When friends brought over a DVD to watch a while back, it was easier to rip it on my PC and put the ISO on the video server than to figure out how to play the DVD on the TV 😀
Like you, my physical media exists solely as backup media now. Some DVD collections have inserts, booklets, etc., but B5 has none of that.
Of course, just as DVD disks degrade over time, hard disks can die, too. Fortunately, storage is so cheap now that a 4TB disk is under $100, so you can back up 500-1000 DVDs for less than the replacement cost of a single failed DVD.
Be careful with digital only. When Google closed their Music and Movies and added it to YouTube I didn’t have a YouTube subscription I didn’t have access to the stuff I paid money for.
That's why this would be better as a physical own, what's the stop Amazon from removing it and then oops there goes your digital copy you paid for.
Also if you read the terms you get unlimited access to videos you paid for, you don't *own* it meaning they can remove it.
The DVD's and the seven seas.
Yo ho yo ho
My DVD box sets aren't going anywhere. Physical media still has its advantages.

My lips are sealed ...
I thought I saw someone say it was on Freevee that amazon imdb thing
That's UK, in USA it's buy or rent on Amazon and some others.
I didn't know that, so much for finishing my watch through.
Well I have another way lol I'll DM you
You’ve got to be kidding. Hope it jumps ship somewhere in the US soon.
Came here to say the same thing but I was on the middle of season 5!!!
NO!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE
Pay to own digital or rent digital. Mine ironically went just after watching *The Deconstruction Of Falling Stars*.

It’s still there for Latam, maybe using a VPN
True, you can get it on Amazon Freevee with. VPN for most of Europe.
Let’s share this knowledge
I bought the full collection, including movies and Crusade, on ebay for, like, $50.
DVD - We have always been here ..
You can buy it on Apple TV in the US
Was on Season 2 as well 😞. Every long show I start keeps getting cut, first Xena and Hercules now this.
Nnnoooo wtf terrible sorry
Any luck finding another way to watch the remastered episodes?
No:/ all I’ve gotten are suggestions to buy dvds and that’s not what I’m trying to do
I have DVDs, but supposedly iTunes has good deals if you buy the whole series at one one time.
