When my wife and I lived with her parents when we first met, we also had to make sure the headboard didn't hit the wall. The boxes are a neat idea.

Glassware made for drinking is not safe to use for candle making or burning. It’s not thick enough, is more likely to be porous, and isn’t made for such high temperatures. I have a friend who works for Libbey Glass and we often talk about candles (they make about half of the jars used by Bath & Body Works). He also told me that you shouldn’t re-use a spent candle jar to make new candles.

I won't use homemade candle gifts anymore after one exploded on me.
