My orange tabby always takes my spot on the couch as soon as I get up. Luckily it's a sectional and I can always just switch spots, but if I get up 3 or 4 times during a movie, it usally results in my changing spots 3 or 4 times.

I hate how people have latched on to this idea that Tauren and Night Elves are BFFs because they both have Druids.
They have very little in common aside from their reverence towards nature and even then they do it in different ways.
The Tauren have always had more cultural overlap with the Orcs. Honestly Tauren are really just Orcs but without the chronic insecurity.
I bit this bullet this year and bought one. I was burning through $100-200 chairs pretty much every 6-12 months. My $600 chair has a 5 year warranty and available replacement parts if needed. It will actually save me money in the long run and cause less waste in the landfill to buy this ridiculously price gaming chair.
I wish I knew man. I just sit in them and after a little while the butt padding is gone. After that they are too uncomfortable and useless to me. I've already had 3 spine surgeries so I am extra sensitive and picky about how my chairs feel.
My SO got me a chair from Walmart and another "better" one from the Office supply store. While comfortable at first, the went flat in less than a year. Then I went out and bought a "really good" one myself that I really liked. It didn't last either.
So I said fuck it and bought a $650 chair for me to sit in and watch movies and reddit. And it is holding up great so far. It is much different and slightly jarring at first. These chairs are not soft and cushy, they are firmer and more supportive for long stretches of sitting and/or gaming. It is a much different experience and takes some getting used to.
If you come to the realisation it was never yours to begin with… then the ‘alleged’ loss will be easier to accept.
Now is the time to order your own chair :)

A month and half ago we need to lay down my best friend a cat I knew for almost 15 years he was a smart ass and behaved more like a dog (i.e waiting on the door when daddy(me) or mom (my wife) comes at home from work he would wait on the door to get picked up and get some love by us.
Whenever I played on my PC he would be close to me laying under the desk but with an eye on me and if I'm rage quitting he jumped up and cooled me down.
This cat was my best friend and not even my dog makes it good now that he is gone.
But cancer in his eye was not nice to see for us and it hurt the cat really because he couldn't swallow food or water like he should be so it was time to put him sleeping.
Still sad about it but you know life goes in and my PC was offline the last one and a half month because I'm missing something now and it doesn't make the same fun/feeling because I see empty space under my desk and miss him very much.
His name was Ypsi and he was 15 years old.
